Checkbox to flatten files before combining
I used acrobat to create a fillable pdf. Now, when I receive them back, I want to be able to combine them into 1 pdf. When I do that, it overwrites all the fields with the info from the first file. Incredibly not helpful. If there was a box that I could check that would tell the program to flatten the files before they were combined, that would be helpful.

Initials Feature Disappeared
Until recently you could prepare a form and ask for initials in Acrobat Pro DC. This needs to be reinstated to the application or added to Adobe sign. I use forms regularly that require fields to be initialed and now I cannot request verifiable initials through either method.

AcroForms VBA plugin does not correctly populate checkboxes when form contains XFA
Or rather, it populates the checkboxes correctly as far as the PDF side goes: it sets the /V and /AS of the checkbox objects in /Fields correctly, but it doesn't set the XFA side accordingly, whereas it does for text fields. In the Acrobat window the checkboxes show as correctly marked until I close the file. When I reopen the file with Acrobat or Reader, it gets its display information from the XFA, not from the /Fields (and that may be the real bug here), and so doesn't show the checkboxes as marked.

BUG: Form Fields Disappear, Can't Modify Name or Tooltip
Fields become "ghost fields"; they still show up in the sidebar on the right and you can still open their properties. However, you cannot select the form field and type text in it. You also can't change the properties, like name and tooltip fields; when you try to, and click away from the field you just changed, they revert back with no notification. This happens every time I open this file in a different application, such as an Accessibility plug-in called CommonLook, and has happened with other files too. Fixing tags in the plug-in causes forms to break in Acrobat,…

Stop entering Edit Text & Images mode while editing form fields from Prepare Form mode.
In Adobe Acrobat Pro DC's Prepare Form mode, before one of the more recent updates, I could click and drag my mouse over 1 or more interactive PDF form fields to select/modify and move them as desired.
When I wanted to click away/deselect them, the selected items would simply deselect no matter where I clicked (including existing text elements) and leave me in Prepare Form mode.
Now, when I attempt to deselect interactive fields by clicking on any element, such as text, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC takes me to Edit Text & Images mode.
If I want to click and…

Acrobat Pro DC Form edit mode selection is BROKEN
In form edit mode, using the Select Object Tool. When selecting a column of form objects (e.g. check boxes) ALL non form objects are selected, and the tool reverts to the Edit too. This renders it impossible to perform actions on the form objects alone
In the file, try and select a column of checkboxes to match the behaviour.
This worked fine before the last update, currently on 2019.021.20047
I would suggest removing the Edit tool from the Form Edit mode, it is not necessary. It is available in the PDF Edit mode.
When I want to work on form…

DROPDOWN PRINTING BUG
Hi everyone...
I've made 2 dropdown boxes with a list of name to choose from.
I named the boxes in different ways but the list of names is the same in both the boxes.
PROBLEM: when I see the print preview in the two boxes it appears the same choice, even if I made two different choices from the dropdown boxes.
If I save the PDF file and I open it with other software, the choice is correct and even the print preview its correct. But in Adobe Reader/Acrobat the boxes show the same name so it is impossible to…1 vote -
Inability to properly allign and spread text labels with text fields is a simple user requirement.
The hefty subscription price for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is very soon realized when you discover how many hours you have to spend (and the money lost in that time) to redo text labels because that persistently group together in awkward ways and are of no help when trying to align form objects. How do you provide the ability to align and spread properly for text fields, but not text labels? This is old tech that is just slapped onto newer products. But who cares...

fillable forms
Trying to create a fillable form that anyone can fill and send back however half the people who receive it can't fill it in, depending on what programs they have on their computer I guess..? How can I create a fillable form that everyone can fill out on their phone/computer without requiring specific programs to do it?

Please add a function to set the page size when creating a PDF form. By default, when you create a form, a Letter-sized page opens, and I need A4. Scaling during printing does not suit me, since the form fields are located in certain coordinates and slide during printing. It is strange that such a function was not done initially.
