  2. There is no option to choose the Admin Console for feature requests. My request is for the Admin Console, not for Acrobat specifically.

Looking for reports as mentioned in this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/enterprise/using/assignment-reports.html

Since we are VIP licenses, apparently this is not available to us. From a chat with support:

"License assignment data only supports named user licenses for Creative Cloud and Document Cloud products purchased under the Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA).

It does not apply to Value Incentive Plan (VIP), Digital Experience, and Teams memberships."

  3. It is so freaking hard to give feedback to y'all. I'm trying the 7 day trial but nothing is syncing up to allow me to download it and I genuinely want to cancel and never return to this product again. I had to get through several hoops to even attempt to explain this issue. I'm sure your UX team wants to do better, please fund them or allow them to actually collect user feedback more easily. Also the line height in this text area is way too tight.

  4. The new user interface does not allow for page navigation using the page numbers, and does not allow for bookmarks and comments to be open at the same time. It really is NOT user friendly for efficiently.

  6. I would like to report a significant issue that has arisen with the latest update, particularly affecting the display and functionality of PDF Portfolios. Formerly, these portfolios showcased thumbnails that provided a visual preview of the contents, enhancing navigation and user experience. However, these thumbnails are now missing, replaced by a mere list format that significantly diminishes the portfolio's usability and aesthetic appeal.

Upon switching to the old UI, hoping to regain the lost functionality, I observed that while the thumbnail pane reappears on the left side, it only displays PDF icons instead of the actual thumbnails. This change not…

  7. I think it is a very bad thing if a software manufacturer implements major changes such as the totally new design of acrobat pro. I didn't get any notic. it was just there. the handling is ****. Sorry but it is. My quick tool bar was gone. The tools wer gone to the left side. in Short: Without notifying the customer, it is a no go!
Not even the support knew about this instantly. They had to look it up?! And if you intent to forward critiscm, no one feels responsible. To what sort of company have you been developing.…

  8. The new Acrobat UI does not follow the "Hide Toolbars" setting from "Document Properties" > "Initial View".

    Acrobat Version: 2023.003.20269
    Platform: Windows 11 22H2

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Open a PDF and then open the Document Properties dialog. Click on the "Initial View" tab, check the "Hide tool bars" option under "User Interface Options".
    2. Save the PDF and then close it. With Acrobat using the new UI model, open the PDF a second time, the "All Tools" side bar is displayed. Expected behaviour: the All Tools toolbar should not be shown as per the User Interface Option settings.

  9. They used to be near each other at the top, now some are on the right side and some on the top. (?!?) How about a Settings option so users can position them where they're convenient?

  10. There are many reports and votes about customers not liking the new UI - me included. It is a load of rubbish.

Stop copying and pasting your garbage response to everyone and actually take note of what we are all saying.

You are basically telling people to just get used to it. If it is forced on us in future updates then I'm out, I'll be looking for alternative pdf software, and I'd encourage everyone else to do the same..

I encourage all to Report Amits' comments as inappropriate.

  11. Adobe Acrobat update 23.6.20320.0. When a PDF is open and you zoom in, the scroll bars disappear. Makes navigating PDFs really painful.

  12. I never use Bookmark ... but here it is every time I start Reader (taking up half of the screen with my document scrunched down accordingly). Not to mention the nav buttons hiding down in the corner on a right-hand tool bar. Are you people mashugana?! It's like you've never seen a Windows nav tool bar (well, before the little morons "ribbonized" things).

    1. How do I get rid of the auto-loading Bookmark panel?

    2. How do I get my nav buttons back into the top tool bar where they belong?

  13. All of my personal settings in my user interface did not transfer during this update. I come to work this morning and have to re-learn how to find the tools that I use every day. Simple navigation is a major task. This completely wiped out my morning's productivity, which is EXTREMELY FRUSTERATING. Please please please dont do this to your users without our concent. Guide us where these features where moved to. ;lkhjg;lnrvwek;lvoiwegf

  15. I have recently been using the split full-screen feature on my MacBook Air 2020 (Ventura 13.4.1), where I am writing my dissertation on one half of the screen and looking at my advisor's comments on a previous draft on the other (see screenshot). I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Occasionally (often after the computer falls asleep due to inactivity), Acrobat just disappears, and clicking on the icon in the doc results in no action. If I try to "show all windows" for Acrobat, nothing appears either.

Being able to split screen like this is super useful, and I wanted to…

  18. Reopen closed PDFs (pop-up)
Acrobat closed abruptly. You can restore the PDFs you had open.

It closed abruptly because I clicked the (X) in the top right of the application to close the app., while it was apparently doing some other function and not paying attention to the GUI.
There seems to be too much extra communication and file parsing happening, when I only want to OPEN the PDF.
How can I remove this "feature", so that the application responds to me, rather than attempting to determine what I want ?

  19. The current UI does not allow to use the NAV pane simultaneously to the Comments Pane. For large documents this is required when commenting on the document. In the previous UI this was possible.

  20. Acrobat is so buggy and should be rewriten. The cache always fills up when doing CTRL F in a document and stops working. It constantly crashes when viewing multiple 200 mb documents at once or long books.
