  1. I never use Bookmark ... but here it is every time I start Reader (taking up half of the screen with my document scrunched down accordingly). Not to mention the nav buttons hiding down in the corner on a right-hand tool bar. Are you people mashugana?! It's like you've never seen a Windows nav tool bar (well, before the little morons "ribbonized" things).

    1. How do I get rid of the auto-loading Bookmark panel?

    2. How do I get my nav buttons back into the top tool bar where they belong?

  2. All of my personal settings in my user interface did not transfer during this update. I come to work this morning and have to re-learn how to find the tools that I use every day. Simple navigation is a major task. This completely wiped out my morning's productivity, which is EXTREMELY FRUSTERATING. Please please please dont do this to your users without our concent. Guide us where these features where moved to. ;lkhjg;lnrvwek;lvoiwegf

  3. There is a notification icon in the menu bar. If you want to tell me something, use that. Stop wasting my time with popup windows. Stop being so needy. Just do your job.

  4. I have recently been using the split full-screen feature on my MacBook Air 2020 (Ventura 13.4.1), where I am writing my dissertation on one half of the screen and looking at my advisor's comments on a previous draft on the other (see screenshot). I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Occasionally (often after the computer falls asleep due to inactivity), Acrobat just disappears, and clicking on the icon in the doc results in no action. If I try to "show all windows" for Acrobat, nothing appears either.

Being able to split screen like this is super useful, and I wanted to…

  7. Reopen closed PDFs (pop-up)
Acrobat closed abruptly. You can restore the PDFs you had open.

It closed abruptly because I clicked the (X) in the top right of the application to close the app., while it was apparently doing some other function and not paying attention to the GUI.
There seems to be too much extra communication and file parsing happening, when I only want to OPEN the PDF.
How can I remove this "feature", so that the application responds to me, rather than attempting to determine what I want ?

  8. The current UI does not allow to use the NAV pane simultaneously to the Comments Pane. For large documents this is required when commenting on the document. In the previous UI this was possible.

  9. Acrobat is so buggy and should be rewriten. The cache always fills up when doing CTRL F in a document and stops working. It constantly crashes when viewing multiple 200 mb documents at once or long books.

  10. When I view a document in Acrobat Reader, I always want a standard default, which is single page view, fill to height, disable scrolling. The trouble is, the application never remembers this; every time I open a document I have to repeat the same sequence of control interactions to set it up the way I want. This is an unproductive waste of my time which could be mitigated by either automatically remembering my display configuration or giving me a control by which I can manually tell the application to remember my configuration as a default.

  11. The new user interface constantly freezes for several seconds every few seconds on my machine. While it's frozen, nothing works. I just have to wait a few seconds for it to become unfrozen. Then a second or two later, it freezes again. Sometimes I'm able to go a few seconds without it freezing -- to get work done. However, it doesn't last long.

I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro v23.003.20284 on Windows 11 Pro v.10.0.22621 with a Dell XPS 17 9700. I have Display Fusion installed, so there could be some conflict there. I don't have this issue with any other…

  13. Bonjour,
Il serait très intéressant de disposer d'une icône dans la barre d'outils pour activer "Afficher la page de couverture en mode deux pages", cela éviterait de passer par un menu.

  14. It would be very interesting to have an icon in the toolbar to activate "Show cover page in two pages mode", this would avoid going through a menu.

  16. Please do not release the new modern interface - immediately noticed the simple "add text" feature is gone - it is now edit entire document. Major functionaly design flaw. There is nothing wrong with the current version, please do not change it.

  17. I think having cut and paste icons in a toolbar is necessary. I don't want to use keyboard shortcuts all the time because of the wear and tear to my keboard over time. Also, how does one have a bates numbering shortcut in the toolbar and not cut and paste? How is that more frequently used by more people than cut and paste? How many users do not need a cut and paste button?

  18. Please allow us to remove or at least change the location of the + Create button at the top next to the tabs. I often need to move the pdf window around on my screen and having the create button there makes it harder to find a space to grab the pdf window and move it to a different location on my screen. Every time I accidentally "create a PFD" it gets more and more annoying.

  20. I use the Action Wizard frequently, so I went to "More Tools" in the Tools Pane and clicked "Add" on the Action Wizard. This added it to the bottom of the Tools Pane, but it won't stay there. It will stay if I close and re-open Acrobat, but the next day (perhaps after a reboot?) when I open Acrobat it will be gone. Please make the Tools Pane customizations persist.
