  1. I never use Bookmark ... but here it is every time I start Reader (taking up half of the screen with my document scrunched down accordingly). Not to mention the nav buttons hiding down in the corner on a right-hand tool bar. Are you people mashugana?! It's like you've never seen a Windows nav tool bar (well, before the little morons "ribbonized" things).

    1. How do I get rid of the auto-loading Bookmark panel?

    2. How do I get my nav buttons back into the top tool bar where they belong?

  2. The "+ Create" button needs to be removed from the Tab bar and placed onto the Toolbar. I routinely hit the Create button when intending to resize or move the Acrobat window. The only option to hide the button is to disable the new Acrobat, which is ridiculous.

  3. In Acrobat, the Create button at the top right is defective. When I click to the right of th ebuttonn (to move a window), Acrobat thinks I'm clicking the create button. I am absolutey trying to avoid that stupid button. IMO, the button is not needed. But in any case, the area to the right of the button should not be a "hot zone" for the button.

  4. The new "View Summary" bar at the top of the pdf FLICKERS unless you click "Edit" to get rid of it. FLICKERS! It is so distracting. Make.it.stop.

  5. Hey, so I’ve been trying to figure out how to create UI mockups, but it’s a bit overwhelming. What’s the best way to get started with creating UI mockups from scratch? Like, do I need to start with sketches, wireframes, or can I jump straight into something more polished? I’ve heard there are all these tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD, but I’m not sure where to begin or which one is best for beginners. Also, how detailed should a mockup really be? Should I focus on colors, fonts, and images right away, or is it more about the…

  6. Acrobat is pushing their users to BlueBeam. the new interface added NO user benefit, but made commonly used features harder to access, and switched toolbar sides for no benefit, and obnoxiously forces the floating toolbar to cover your document while leaving the top bars empty. If Acrobat ever removes the "Disable new Acrobat" I will be switching to BlueBeam.

  7. I chose the option "Single page continuous" as my default in preferences, but it doesn't work.

Steps to reproduce: Choose "Single Page Continuous" in preferences. Open a pdf document for the first time.

    Environment: Windows 10 Pro version 22H2 ; Adobe Acrobat Continuous Release | Version 2024.005.20320 | 64-bit

    Expected behavior: Continuous scrolling.

    Observed behavior: Page-wise scrolling.

  9. Adobe is becoming more and more of a problem. Adobe E-Sign freezes half of the time. It takes me about ten (10) minutes to now prep a document for E-Signatures. Editing documents has become nearly impossible. Can we talk about highlighting? Nope, not unless I want to highlight one-third (1/3) of the document. It is absolutely ridiculous. Why does the software continue to get worse instead of better?

  10. When I open a new pdf document and it opens on my laptop or on my primary screen, the top of the window is above the top of the screen. I then must resize the document by pulling up the bottom in order to be able to access the top of the window to overall resize or move the window. I have tried to fix this with suggestions I found online, but none of the fixes work long term. Please fix this! It is very frustrating. No other software that I use has this issue.

  11. On Mac, go back to switching between DOCUMENT tabs (document windows) using the CMD+~ or SHIFT+CMD+~ please. Very handy for comparing documents, in most cases better than the compare documents feature.

There is already a similar posted suggestion (I've pasted it below) and Ayush's answer for part 2 does not work on a Mac (using CMD or CTRL). If it truly exists, please share.

    Here is the other post:
Multiple Tab Visibility and Key-Shortcut Switching
    Multiple Tab Visibility
    - please make the active tab a different color than the inactive tables;
    - please add a keyboard shortcut to swtich between…

  12. I have used Acrobat for Mac much more than I have used Acrobat for Windows. Every time I use interactive PDF forms in Acrobat for Windows it immediately strikes me how unattractive Acrobat's Windows app.alert boxes are compared to it's app.alert boxes in Mac. The box itself is "blah", bordering on ugly and the text for the alert message is too small and light. I would think that Adobe wants users to be attracted to it aesthetically in addition to being attracted to Acrobat's functionality and strongly encourage Adobe to make its app alert boxes in Arobat for Windows as…

  14. Please make it possible for the Attachments Panel to be displayed by default via the settings.

This way, it would be immediately visible whether the PDF contains attachments, such as XML files for e-invoices.

  15. Ability to hide 'Recommended tools for you' at the top of Acrobat home page above Recent. The purple-red-white gradient is visually ugly, and I would prefer a clean white page with just Recent files, which is useful. Professional users don't need 'Recommended tools for you', we can find them when we need to.

  16. Every time I open a new PDF Acrobat opens quickly and shows the first page of the pdf but then the whole app seems to freeze ... I can't move or minimize the window, I can't scroll through the document .. nothing. After about a minute the app will begin to work as expected with no further issues.

    This is incredibly annoying.

  17. In the latest update pushed this week, 2024.005.20421, the Light Theme "Old" style Acrobat (Pro and Reader) version was updated to 2024.005.20421 recently. The "Light Gray" Display Theme File Menu bar highlights color changed and is hard to read the text since it doesn't change the text to White like the main window bar. When the mouse hovers over the File Menu options, the dark Blue color overpowers the text color which stays a dark gray. See attached. Before, it wasn't a blue highlight but a gray with black text.
No changes to the Windows 11 system settings for Color…

  18. The dang AI pop up keeps popping up in front of things I need, I don't know how to read what I need without it popping up in front of it... you make the cursor go away and the pop up goes away, but when you go back because you're trying to highlight something it just pops up again... give it it's own space, not floating in front of the documents. Same can be said for the toolbar... keep it off my document, keep it below or on the side, do not cover the whole reason why I have this…

  19. Legitimately everyone who has ever posted on this forum about this feature hates it. GET RID OF IT ALREADY! Nobody wants or needs the bookmarks tab to open by default. It is the most irritating thing on the planet!
