Raise without a handler
Wow. I LOVE your products, but HOLY S&*T was it difficult to get to a point where I could actually "Contact" adobe. As a professional UX designer (sorry for how that must sound...) this UX is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable for a company of your prestige.
Here is my issue, I used to be able to drag .png files into Adobe Acrobat and the software would brilliantly ask me if I wanted to combine these pngs into a single file, "Why yes, Thats exactly what I want! Thank you."
This worked flawlessly for the last year. Now, out of nowhere, the program no longer does this. Now I get an error prompt of "RAISE without a handler", what ever the **** that means (to most users, its completely worthless feedback/messaging). There is no help on how to resolve the issue.
Posts on the internet are saying this is a bug Adobe has refused to acknowledge.
My questions are, What is the problem? What is the fix? And why the heck do you make it so difficult to contact the company and get answers to our questions?
Please, please, please, don't make me and co-workers abandon you and move to sketch for our design work because you refuse to help your customers.
Thank you,
James Hyland
UX Designer
Hi,
Adobe Acrobat and Reader official update containing the fix for this issue is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. If you want, you may also manually trigger the update by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates.

Please try it out and let us know your feedback. Thanks for your patience and support!

"Hello I am experiencing the same problem. This has been happening since I upgraded to MacOS Catalina Version 10.15. I can't open any pdf files at all. The error RAISE without a handler appears on the screen and the only option I have is to click on OK and then the application shuts down. Can someone please help me resolve this issue? I pay a lot of money for the Adobe Acrobat DC App.” I totally share the above opinion, I hope somebody solves the problem soon.

I too am experiencing problems with Adobe Acrobat DC since installing Catalina 10.15. I am paying very good money for Adobe Acrobat. I expect Adobe to keep up with the times ensuring their product works across the updates of the MacOS. This is rather disappointing and I cannot help but feeling ripped off by Adobe.
I followed the advise below and continue receiving the RAISE without a handle error. Looks like nothing I can do except grin and bear it. Or perhaps contact my state's Attorney General Consumer Division?

Guys, I found the solution! Just delete the plugin named "Accessibility.acroplugin" and it would work.
Hope this could help you! -

I am experiencing this issue as well. I have installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled the very latest version of Reader DC to no avail. It happened after downloading Catalina, so it seems likely that something between Adobe and Apple's new OS has gone awry. As James highlights above, contacting Adobe is another vain effort. If anyone manages to find a fix, I'd love to know what it was.

The issue happened to both Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Acrobat Pro DC. There is no third-party plug-in in my system related to pdf. Actually, I tried to delete the Weblink plug folder but the problem is still there. It only happened when launching Acrobat. I can use Preview to open the file.

Happening to me as well. Maybe coincidence, but it started just after update to Mac OS Catalina. Reinstall (delete from apps, delete app data, fetch pkg, run installer) did not solve the problem for me.

I, too, have been experiencing dozens of RAISE errors per day, starting on Friday, July 5, 2019. This happens both when attempting to open a simple, single PDF and when attempting to compile multiple PDFs into a single file. I am paying for Adobe Pro DC and expect it to work. Instead, I am having to use Apple Preview as a work-around. Please send clear instructions for a solution ASAP.

RAISE error message been with me for a month or two as of 14th May 2019 - soooo annoying and badly coded software - I have given you guys ( Adobe ) plenty of time to update to fix the bug .... very poor work guys !

Found a fix, add files in smaller batches, when prompted to create a pdf say NO let images import the select "combine files" and proceed as usual from there:)

Had this issue on MacOS Mojave 10.14.3 also and resolved it as follows:
1. uninstalled Adobe Acrobat DC (using the uninstaller located in Applications/Adobe Acrobat DC/Acrobat Uninstaller
2. deleted the folder called Adobe PDF located in Library/Application Support/Adobe
3. reinstalled Adobe Acrobat DC

Same issue for me too. Even tried saving png's to jpg's which gave me a different error: The input file is corrupt or of an unknown/unsupported type.
