  1. Multiple Undo in Order and Content panels

    2 years ago, Adobe programmed that the Tags panel would have Undo. That was very helpful.

    But we also need to Undo in the Order and Contents panels, too.

    When remediating PDFs to meet accessibility guidelines and laws, people work in the Order and Content panels, too, not just in the Tags panel. As in any workflow, we sometimes need to undo what we just did.

    Right now, we must revert to the previously saved version which might go back too far and not be helpful at all.

  2. BUG: Autotag Error puts hyperlinks on all numbers

    When Autotag is run in Acrobat Pro, it puts hyperlinks on all numbers, such as numerical data in tables, page numbers, and random numbers within the body text.

  3. Keyboard Shortcut for "Find Tag"

    Need a keyboard shortcut when working in the Tags Panel to Find Tag From Selection.

    This utility is used a bazillion times a day by those who must make accessible PDFs.

  4. Reading Order not showing up

    1. When I open a document the reading order is missing.
    2. One of my clients has sent me a pdf with the reading order attached and the tags assigned, the document has been tagged, it's all good to go. However, when I open the document on my end, all of the reading orders have been removed. I know the reading order has been set, i checked the original document and it was tagged properly, but when she emails it to me the reading order is not showing up on my end.

  5. Text-to-speech functionality does not work with the Apple OS version of Adobe Acrobat Pro, as in previous versions

    It has been important in my practice to review reports and multitask. The Apple OS version of Adobe Acrobat is not compatible with the system-wide keystroke of option+s, which activates text-to-speech. This essential function works with MS Office 365 and other third-party apps. Secondly, the rate of speech (even after changing the preferences) is too rapid for use. Clearly, the options of reading the whole page or whole document are limitations.   6. Accessibility Enhancement

    List labels are rarely get tagged which make the tagging extremely tedious. Tables, underlines, links always leave pathing tags which need to be manually removed from the content, again making the process of creating accessible files extremely tedious. There has got to be a better way.

  7. Turn Grid on/off with CMD+G instead of CMD+U

    I had somehow turned the Grid on. I love keyboard shortcuts, so I tried "CMD+G" and nothing happened. "CMD+R" turns the ruler on/off. So I went through the view nav, and found that the key command for turning the Grid on/off is "CMD+U" .... why is it "U" and not "G"? G would make the most sense because it's a Grid. There's not even the letter "U" in the word Grid.

  8. Accessibility - Table Cell Splitting/size bug

    In making large, complex tables accessible, I have repeatedly come across multiple cells that I have drawn with the cell button on the reading order panel, that either include more than one cell, or create one cell that is so large that I cannot select any cells beneath it.

  9. recently closed tab list

    When opening/working with several documents, closing the wrong document causes stress to find that one document again in the Mac Finder/Windows Explorer/email application/…

    My suggestion is to implement a 'recently closed'-button, similar as the Vivaldi or Opera browsers implemented. This way, all recently closed documents are nicely listed together with the current open documents. This makes retrieving recent actions more easily.

  10. User- Friendly Accessibility Tagging

    Please change the way Adobe Acrobat does the reading order so that the tags in the tags pane will automatically correspond to the order in the Touch- up reading order pane.
    Also please make it easier to tag links - when I try to tag links it doesn't work right. Please consider creating a version of Adobe Acrobat that makes it easy to comply with Section 508 as described at Section508.gov.   11. Make Preferences Searchable

    It would be nice to be able to search the preferences. ALL the Adobe products have over 20 organized "tabs" to find the settings you are looking for, but it still makes it too hard to find the settings you are looking for. You need to update this to be more like current software with a way to search for the settings, like Google Chrome or Vivaldi browsers.

  13. Accessibility checker nested alternate text

    Checker flags link in a table cell as invalid. (<Link> and <Link - OBJR> in a table <TD> cell). I believe this is not a failure point and should not be flagged. Would appreciate a review of this check and a note regarding which protocol is the reason if I am incorrect.

  14. Accessibility Checker fails Radio buttons and checkboxes

    Accessibility Checker fails:
    Check boxes (Tagged form fields - Failed)
    Radio buttons (Tagged annotations - Failed)
    InDesign copy changes, Acrobat Reading order missing tags.

    Using MacOS High Sierra V 10.13.6.
    Previous files, InDesign 2018 Export Adobe PDF Interactive Passed the checker. Same file open in newer version InDesign 2019 Export Adobe PDF Interactive fails.

    Not sure if the problem is with Acrobat or Indesign. This is happening with all my files. If I take a new Indesign file with no interactive functions and create them in InDesign 2019 everything passes.

    There is a bug somewhere!

  15. Make the toolbar disappear

    It will be easier to use and user will get a wide angle while reading if u make the menu bar the toolbar the bookmarks menu and the right menu bar to disappear and be only visible when the pointer focus it

  16. Automatically open the appropriate navigation tab after initial display properties are changed. I hate having to open it myself.

    When I change the initial view to display the pages or bookmarks panel and click OK, I wish the program would automatically open the appropriate panel for me instead of having to do it myself. It's almost easier to close the file and re-open it than it is to go open the panel myself.

  17. Mapping the center mouse button to different tools

    when pressing the center button on the mouse currently it allows 4 way scrolling option. It would be better for my use if it could be mapped to the hand tool instead of always having to switch back to the hand tool(for left click)

  19. Reading experience dyslexics

    Hi! I have ADHD and dyslexia. I think it's kind of vital to improve the reading experience at the Acrobat reader. Microsoft has done a good job with the Edge epub reading features, would be nice to have some of these features to improve reading acessibility.
