1. New design is unworkable on small screens.

   What happened to Acrobat? A perfectly good UI scrapped for a bulky, screen hogging, unfriendly experience. Did everyone lose their minds during the pandemic? It sure feels like it. I know Adobe likes to make customers re-learn all it's software with every new version but this is exceptional. Very rude. Not happy.

2. Remove Autotag document from right click menu in accessibility

   1. Right click menu rework for tagging.
   2. I work primarily in tagging documents for accessibility, and I frequently use right click action menu to create a new tag. Sometimes over 100 individual uses on a document. There have been countless times where I accidentally click "auto-tag document" instead of "New Tag". I don't believe anyone auto tags a document from this right click menu and I believe it would be good to either remove it from the menu, or create some distance from regularly used features in that menu. This action cannot be undone with control + z and I always have to retag from my most recently saved version.
   3. I don't believe this is a frequently used action from the right click tool bar because people normally auto tag the document from the accessibility tab. It is an odd case use scenario where it is used and creates a possibility for losing a lot of work. Removal of this option would be much better for UX design.

   Acrobat war mal so gut, was macht ihr jetzt draus außer das es immer teurer mit den sch... abos wird ? Bei mir stürzt es ständig ab und was dann besonders ärgerlich und überhaupt nicht begreifbar ist, dass alle änderungen auch wenn ich auf wiederherstellen gehe bzw. zwischengespeichert habe weg sind. Das kostet soviel unnötige Lebenszeit.

   Allow the toolbar to expand and minimize (hide the toolbar) to maximize the working area. As of right now there is no way to make the toolbar section smaller or to hide it. When trying to make the toolbar smaller it exits out of the tool being used for the PDF and it will only work if the toolbar stays open. It would be beneficial to have more workspace than to have 1/4 of the screen taken up by the tool bar.

   When I save my word doc as a pdf, I often lose the bottom right "picture". Everything else is fine in the pdf, but it always the bottom right. Sometimes it works, most time the bottom right is missing.

9. Worst version ever

   The new version of Acrobat is the worst program I have ever seen in any category. I dont usually use vulgar language, but the long list of 4 letter words available would be the only way to fully describe the latest user interface. Everyone makes mistakes, but the entire team that is responsible for this product should be fired. All tools and details needed to navigate and manipulate a file were so easy prior to this useless version.

    The new version of Acrobat no longer cares about the "Remember current state of the Tools Pane" preference - Acrobat always opens with the "All Tools" shown. I believe I'm in a large pool of the population that will only ever read PDFs, so for all practical purposes, none of the items on the tools will ever be used. Please reinstate this feature.

17. PDF Portfolio Thumbnails missing

    Hi,

    It seems like the PDF Portfolio Thumbnails are missing, causing major disruption in our communication with our customers who use the thumbnails on the left side of the Portfolio view to navigate between the files.

    Currently in January 2024 the Portfolio appears just as a list and many additional settings and preferences also disappeared. Looks like a stripped version of the formerly powerful format.

    Is working at Adobe really that boring that your developers change menus and layouts ongoing, just for fun, forgetting / letting out functions?
    Maybe the last step for us to go for an alternative with the whole company.

20. Undesired and annoying e-sign pop-up reminder in tools sidebar. Please remove this pop-up.

    Every time when I use the tools sidebar I get an undesired and annoying pop-up reminding me to check out e-sign tools. I use e-signing occasionally and don't need to be reminded about e-sign tools. I pay premium price for a product and don't need unsolicited advertisement for e-sign tools. Please remove this pop-up from the product or inform me at least how I can do it.
