  2. As a user I sign hundreds of pages of documents a month and I need the capability to do this much quicker and in an efficient manner. Currently it takes extra clicks to place multiple signature/initials on the same page. We need to invoke the sign toolbar from the top every time.

It will be better if we can have a similar interface as in previous version of Reader where the Signature/initial panel was on the right hand side.

  4. As in any other Adobe Application, I would like to be able to choose the number of Recent files I want to show on the start page.
I know it's really easy and quick to implement. Please be gentle and make it soon.

This feature is important because I don't want to see all my recents files (that I may have renamed or changed directory) in this menu, I find that ugly and not useful. But this is personal.
Sharing a more general opinion, I think Adobe software tend to have a lack of coherence between them. That would be…

  5. There also needs to be a way to save customize Quick Tools settings. If I rest the toolbars, I then have to manually set up quick tools again when I want to go back to a certain arrangment. They should work like workspaces do in the other Adobe programs.

  8. I do NOT like the format for the on-line user guide. I much prefer the layout and format for the previous reference guides that were available for every application.
When studying for Ace exams, the reference guides were ideal.
PLEASE don't phase them out. I'd sooner see the on-line guide taken away than the reference manual.

  11. I'd like the option to crop multiple pages in one go instead of individually. e.g. Document with non-print marks. Instead of creating separate PDF with InDesign or other desktop publisher, I'd like to crop all the pages in one go.

Same issue reported twice by the same user – perhaps by mistake. Closing one.

  12. I would like to have a Table of Contents page within my document that can update automatically. When I add and remove pages from a document it would be extremely helpful to have this update -- just the Microsoft Office works with powerpoint or word.

  13. This has been described before but I'm hoping there is still work being done towards updates. As per this thread https://acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/590923-acrobat-for-windows-and-mac/suggestions/18440917-acrobat-reader-should-support-dynamic-dpi-scaling#{toggle_previous_statuses}

Windows 10 Pro, XPS 13 hi res laptop.

My laptop screen is 3200 x1800, external monitors are 1920x1080. The program looks normal on my external monitors but doesn't adjust when I drag it to my laptop - icons and menus Teeny Tiny and unreadable. Other programs by most other vendors will detect the screen resolution and adjust.

Sounds like a scaling fix has been implemented for Acrobat DC Continuous, Acrobat 2017, Acrobat Reader DC Continuous, and Acrobat Reader 2017.

  15. I have a PDF file with a Text Field whose content should be rendered using an embedded OpenType font.

    Consider the attached example PDF.

Acrobat DC uses a replacement font for rendering the text field content.

In Foxit PDF viewer, the text is rendered correctly, using the same font as in the string above the text field.

  18. I am using an online PDF for my University studies. I have to constantly go back and forward between the material, questions and solutions which are moving slightly down after material or question and each answer. I struggle with this as I can only use one hand.

    My current usage is:

Keeping main material bookmark up to date:
    - Read material.
    - Come to a question.
    - Answer question.
    - Highlight next section to read.
    - Click on my custom "next section bookmark"
    - Right-click on "next section bookmark"
    - Click set destination
    - Click on dialogue confirming.

    Keeping answers…

  20. I think it could be nice to click on the same button to deactivate the previously selected option. For instance, I selected the Highlighter to highlight some words. I though it was the same button to quit this state, as the same interactivity gate. Instead of that, I needed to go on the Arrow symbol to deselect the Highlighter.
