Need to click two screens to close one document
I use Acrobat Standard DC v.2015.006.30417
Each time I close a document, I get another screen which I then need to click on to close my document. I've seen, online, comments regarding a box, in General Preferences, that can be checked to eliminate this feature, but my version does not have the box.
What can I do to stop this very annoying activity?2 votesHi Joel,
Can you attach the screenshot of this additional dialog.
Thanks

Sticky Notes show a nonexistent user's name
I can provide screenshots via email. Suddenly, although I've changed nothing, I add a sticky note and it has someone else's name who had never commented on a PDF ever, and is not associated with my account!

BUG: cannot open PDF
Myself and a coworker cannot open a PDF with sharing/commenting capabilities. Acrobat DC Pro will open, but once I select a file, the program closes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program. The PDF will open in Preview.

BUG: cannot save file, text disappears
Third time this week. Working on an existing PDF with commenting tools, and when I go to save, I get the message that the file cannot be saved. Try to save as, as suggested, and get the message that there's a file error, then the text of the file disappears. (Spread in screenshot is two solid pages of text.)

Keyboard shortcut for emailing PDF. Create a shortcut that opens the emailing option.
Most of what I use Acrobat Pro for is processing vendor invoices. Several thousand per year. I need to place comments on them and then email them to another location. It would be a big time saver for me if there was a shortcut key to open the email option. Thanks, Barry

Unable to paste comments from one page to another page
Found a bug
Software Acrobat Pro DC
Architecture: x86_64
Build: 18.9.20050.254034
AGM: 4.30.72
CoolType: 5.14.5
JP2K: 1.2.2.39492OSX 10.11.6 (15G18013)
In previous versions of Acrobat, it was possible to copy and paste not only written (text) comments, but it was possible paste lines, boxes, ovals, clouds and other comment features from one page to another page.
This is of importance because we use Acrobat to mark up floor plan drawings and send those comments back to the Architect for review and correction. The current version of Acrobat, as far as I am concerned, is broken because it no longer permits…

Text call out tool properties not set as default
Text call out tool issue . After commenting on a document , the color of the call out box is changes to blue and this property made "default" through " make current property default " option. This change is valid as long as acrobat pro application remains open . When the application is restarted , the text call out box reverts back to the original properties i.e. white in color . This problem comes for the text call out tool only and other drawings markups retain their set properties even after restarting the application.

Bug Report
I have a comment box pop up when mousing over a page with multiple images. The Comment box was not put in by the current author and we can't seem to find a way to edit or erase the comment box. Any advice would be welcome.

Working with sticky notes
My problem is that when I try to print comment sticky notes on a parallel page, after the first day's work, when I start up the next day, I can edit with sticky notes, but cannot make them open on the parallel page. The first day's sticky notes are there nicely, but the second day's will not open on the parallel page once entered on the main text page.

All replies should be not be hidden be default.
Comment rplies are hidden by default and can not be changed. So when you hover over it or double click the comment. You do not see the reply. And so can get missed.

Make sort by groups collapsed as the default behavior
When I sort comments: by type, author, color, page, etc, the groups are always fully open. If I'm sorting by a particular group, I want to target something within a group. If I have a lot of comments, they scroll past the end of the comment pane. So EVERY TIME, I have to collapse the groups. At the very least, make the name of the groups BOLD somehow, so that I can see which group it is more easily. Also, I miss the little twirl down triangle, That UI was more intuitive. I don't like the ellipses.

BUG: DC PRO crash while highlighting and comments on scanned hand written notes document
Brand new Win 10 Surface Book with everything updated including Acrobat. When highlighting and adding comments to a scanned handwritten document, DC PRO crashed and hours of work were lost as the file I was working on was not in the temporary saved files. In troubleshooting, I found that auto-save to temporary files was not turned on in preferences. I am used to working with MS Word which automatically saves every document you have opened and changed and I assumed Adobe would do likewise. I have not had a crash like this on DC PRO like many others have reported…
