  2. The document is being tagged, perhaps properly, but it is impossible to tell using the TURO tool when showing structure types. In the Tags pane, headings are shown as H1, H2, etc in the actual tags, but whether the TURO tool is on when the Order or Tags panel is active, these show up as text (P).

I've never seen this problem before and suspect it has to do with a recent update/release.

    Hi,
I have shared your concerns to the Engineering team. We don’t have immediate plan for this but we have kept this in their radar and you may see it fixed in future releases.

    Thanks

  3. Because of my dyslexia, I would benefit from Adobe reading the text aloud as I scan the words. But it never works! How can I get the “Read Aloud” function to work?

  6. I find the new icons difficult to differentiate among. In my toolbar, multiple functions are served by the same icon, which requires me to hover over the icon for the popup to see which tool it is (until I've committed my ordering of tools to memory). In my side panel, the Generative Summary icon is the only purple icon, showing that it's possible to recolor them.

Please consider allowing us to show by default the names of the tools/buttons to the right of the icon.

Additionally, please consider allowing us to change the color of the icons in the control…

  8. Simply put: The ability for users to choose the speed at which scrolling the mouse wheel scrolls the view of a document on Adobe Acrobat.

Changing the mouse settings on the actual OS instead of within Acrobat is not a solution, because Acrobat scrolls at a different default speed than other programs such as File Explorer or any browser. For me, scrolling the mouse wheel while viewing a document in Acrobat is way slower than in Chrome or anything else. For others, I'm seeing plenty of complaints that it's too fast on their devices.

Therefore: The ability to change Acrobat's…

  10. When viewing a document, if looking at a doc from under 100% zoom, I can't see any prefilled info on the page. When I zoom in to 106% or out to 78.4%, the prefilled data becomes visible. What the ****?

  12. Every time I follow a link from Acrobat that takes me to the Adobe website, I get a message saying that the page doesn't match my country. I have an account on your server and I'm logged in on the app so why can't you show the right country?

  13. In our office we have somepeople that have Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 - Classic and some people have Adobe Acrobat Pro - Continuous Release.
We believe there are missing accessibility issue flags in the Acrobat Pro 2020 - Classic, specifically with the table headers, however, we are not certain if the issue extends byond this.
We will run the checker on a document and in Acrobat Pro - Continuous Release there are more issues flagged than there are in Acrobat Pro 2020 - Classic.

Here are the following steps we follow on both Classic and Continuous Release:

Step 1: In your PDF, go…

  14. The problem occurs if you have a Link and the text content has a break-line; when you navigate through tab selection, normally the text is selected, the selection for those cases, the reader locates the selection in the wrong place, it depends on the resolution or the scale of the window, at more resolution, the selection place is worse.

Example of the FO structure used for a link with break-line is as follows:

          <fo:block space-before="0pt" start-indent="0.63in" space-after="9pt">The Quick Response

  18. If I have a PDF I'm working on with active links (<Link>, <Link-OBJR>), then if I were to insert that PDF into a new PDF (Pages--Insert Pages), the link parent tag transfers over, but I lost the clickable link (<Link-OBJR>) child tag.

It'd be great if there was a way that I wouldn't have to re-tag my links via Find... in the tags pane. Note that link text will transfer over, but the insert file strips the <Link-OBR>, thus not making it clickable.

  20. When tagging a table in Acrobat Pro, the Title property (of a <table> tag) doesn't seem to get exported in the PDF, resulting into untitled tables and therefore not ADA compliant.
