  1. Right panel collapsed when opening PDF created with CAD Software

    I want to open these files with the panels collapsed; I want a clean view to view theses. And in general, to keep the panel collapsed, If I want to edit or anything I can open the full panel. I recently got an Issue with this.   3. Differentiate between user set bookmarks and preset bookmarks

    Preset bookmarks and user set bookmarks or bookmark groups simply don't exist and make it hard to print those bookmarked pages specifically. Please include bookmark categories.

  6. Errors in transparency when Print to PDF from PPT

    There is a bug in transparency when printing a PPT to a PDF. See PrintToPDF.jpg. The resolution is also not 1200 DPI as specified in the settings.

    I need to perform global find and replace and the find and replace dialog has select entire word grayed out in settings. I have hundreds of tags to change and this is killing me. Please enable the select entire word check box for find and replace. And yes, the new versions revision of adobe 2023 suck.

  12. Continue with Microsoft sign-in method does not open a web browser as expected

    Using Adobe Acrobat Pro 64-bit, version 24.005.20399, on Windows 11, 24H2.

    Selecting any of the sign-in options (Continue with Google, Continue with Facebook, Continue with Microsoft) fails to open a web browser to continue the sign in process. This will eventually time out and fail to sign you in.

    Signing in using your email address, verification code, and password works fine. Issue is with using the SSO options that fail to open a web browser.

  15. Searching a PDF in Adobe Reader has become very slow

    Searching (ctrl^f - search for a text) in a large PDF file in Adobe Reader has become very slow. Searching the same file in Edge or Chrome is fast. I use Microsoft Word to make a document, and save from there to PDF. An example is attached. I noticed the slow performance in Adobe Reader during the last year or so, I am not sure when it started, but it as not always like this.

  17. Freedom of information Act - Ireland

    Similar to the US FOIA and US Privacy Act options already available for marking up a redaction mark in Adobe with the reason (section of the Act) that was used to justify the redaction, would it be possible to either

    a) add something similar for the Irish FOI Act 2014 (Exempt Records section is Part 4 https://www.irishstatutebook.ie/eli/2014/act/30/enacted/en/print.html) or

    b) allow for a user to add in the text they would like to appear over the redaction mark manually, without having to create a text box and move it over the mark.

  20. How to Backup Gmail to PST?

    There are three methods to achieve this:-

    1. The first is using MS Outlook, which is free and effective, but it can be time-consuming. Additionally, if you accidentally choose the wrong option, you'll have to start over.

    2. The second method is through Google Takeout, but I wouldn't recommend it. The main issues are the limited backup options and the fact that it converts files to MBOX format, which you'll then need to convert to PST using other software.
