  1. It would be nice if I can import pdf files from various folders or folder on my desktop to the cloud without opening and saving each file individually. Also, a security feature at folder level would be an advantage.

  2. I want to set the "DEFAULT" for the initial view for all pdf documents that I create. I am sick and tired of setting the "initial views" for each and every PDF that I create. Please program a preference that automates the way to set a users preference for creating files with a preset initial view.

  3. Needless to say, I print a lot from Acrobat. It bugs me constantly that when the print dialog comes up, it's too big to fit entirely on the screen. The actual "print" button is off screen on the bottom, and requires scrolling down to be able to click it. That should not be the case. Even more annoying is the fact that the dialog itself, although it has a scroll bar, is not responsive to my scrollwheel mouse. It absolutely should be.

    Hi,

Thanks for your valuable feedback. We have recorded it as bug in our database.

    Best Regards!

  4. When you combined individual subfolders within a master folder when creating a PDF Portfolio, the previous Acrobat Pro allowed you to do this feature with one click. The current Acrobat Pro DC software requires that you create a portfolio and manually add the individual folders. Please add back the option for the one-click subfolder integration!

  6. RE:Acrobat Professional ver. 2017 and DC

In version 9 I was able to reduce the size of a thumbnail whereby I could view +/- 50 thumbnail pages alongside of a single page document view. According to tech support, this functionality is no longer available. If the only way to see more than +/- 5 thumbnails is to fill the screen with the thumbnail pane, then what is the point of thumbnails at all. I have attached a screen shot to show how I view a document.

It would be extremely useful to bring back this basic functionality. Given that older…

    Hi Mike

We have shared your concern with the team and we will look into this. In the meantime as you yourself mentioned, you can resize the thumbnails panel to a size where you can accommodate more thumbnails and can still see the document.
    Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Regards
    Vivek

  7. I would like to see a feature added to Acrobat that would allow Acrobat to stamp the path (location) and name of the document which was created. I am attaching an example of a document created with a different program in which the feature is highlighted..

It would also be great if that stamp would adjust and change as the document is renamed, moved or received and saved by the receiving party.

  8. Invert colours on images embedded in pdf files.

    Hi

I'm visually impaired. I find anything with a white background unreadable.

I can change text and text background colours to make text readable but I cannot find a method to change colours used in images embedded in pdf files.

Please can you add an accessibility option to invert colours in embedded images so black becomes white and white becomes black. NB. All colours will need to be inverted not just black and white.

  10. Adobe should allow user to enlarge menu font sizes.

I often want to know what page number I’m working in, but must lean into the screen to visualize the tiny number font listed in the menu bar.

  12. Adobe's default line spacing is set to 1.20, which is uncommon in documents. Single spacing (1.0) would be much more useful. Because I can't change the default, I have to continually change the line spacing from 1.2 to 1, which is annoying and time consuming. Please update the software so that the user can select the default line spacing.

  13. Here's an idea...whenever trying to edit a picture and this ANNOYING message pops up:
"The object you selected uses transparency and might look different in your editing application. Furthermore, the appearance of the page may change in unexpected ways after this object is edited. Do you want to edit this object anyway?"

A NEW OPTION appears > DO NOT ASK AGAIN FOR EVER AND EVER THRU ETERNITY. THANKS

Thank you for the feedback. I have forwarded your request to the engineering team. They will reach out to you if any more information is needed.

  14. Problem: When doing an Advanced Search, in order to find out the page number of any given search result, you must hover the pointer over each individual search hit and wait for a popup of its page number to appear.

Feature request: Show the page numbers on which those hits occur, and preferably in a column to the left of each search hit.

Reason it's needed: This would save a tremendous amount of time for certain labor intensive tasks, for instance, manually indexing a book. To elaborate a bit: When manually indexing a large book (say, 500 pages), you regularly…

  17. As also expressed in a bug report related to the changing of font colors within a PDF file, I would like to see Acrobat Pro XI and DC have the ability to change the font color of all pages - or a specified range of pages - within a given document, in one pass. Right now this process must be laboriously applied, one page at a time.

This feature would be analogous to the Crop Tool, for instance, which does provide the ability to apply itself to all or to a range of pages within the specified file.

  18. Provide support for HEIC files. This is apple's new standard and lots of clients send over these image files like jpegs that need to be inserted into my pdfs. PDF is intended to be the "universal" format so this seems like an obvious addition. Thanks!

  19. When using Adobe Acrobat Pro for scanning documents every 10 minutes, I need to have a "Home" screen with only one button - "Create PDF" + "From Scanner" + "Grayscale Document (front side)".

The new setting is driving me crazy. I wish I could downgrade to the old Adobe Acrobat design!
