Share and OCR not working on MAC machines using the new viewIn the new UI (on MAC only) the share button does not work, the Scan and OCR brings up blank boxes when choosing Recognize Text in this file, and once you have selected the Scan and OCR if you try to Edit a PDF or Prepare for Accessibility, those boxes are now blacked out. This is not happening on Windows machines. I updated Acrobat on both machines to the latest version (Windows 2024.002.21005 and Mac 2024.002.20964) and uninstalled and reinstalled it on the Mac. I also have the latest versions of my OS installed on both laptops. I have taken… 2 votes

Make menus smallerI am not a fan of the new interface. This does not improve anything for users. It just changes the side a menu is on and forces users to change they way they interact with a document and how they work in Acrobat every workday. That said, if this is to remain this way... Make the menus smaller or allow the user to adjust them. There is a lot of white/empty space between the tools listed and the actual document. I typically use Adobe while it is on half of my screen (I have a 22" monitor) so I can… 3 votes

Changes in the interfaceI'm not sure what the purpose of the constant changes to the program's interface is. Why was the toolbar moved from the right side to the left side? What does it mean? I have a problem with that. If I make a tutorial for colleagues at work, every change in the interface can be very confusing. It would probably be best to return the changes in the interface back to the original state. 10 votes

User Interface is TerribleMost of the time when there is an upgrade you get used to it and after a while see the benefits of it or at least accept the change.
But I have never seen such an awfull designed UI like with the latest Upgrade.
Everything is moved for no reason where we are used to locations of buttons and functions. Why is the Save button on top right where in 99% of all other applications its top left same for print etc.If someone works with this the first time, he might gets used to it but for me personally… 92 votes

Very confuse about the new acrobatI almost got a heart attack. I was working on a pdf, then I opened a new document and the Acrobat interface was completely different. I use Acrobat every day and the new interface is too different from the old one. Tools are difficult to find because they have been placed somewhere else. I definitely don't have time to learn how to use a new software. I didn't not appreciate to be face to this suddent change without any warning. It would be better to give user the option to customize the left and right pannels. If it's already possible,… 63 votes

f4 shortcut default behavior should revert to access pages panel in new acrobatAi feature removal requests aside, the f4 key is muscle memory for me to get to the Pages sidebar. Having to use the extra click to get out of the AI assistant panel and to the Pages panel that I want, is frustrating. And cumulatively, a time-suck. Feels like user-hostile UI practices. As a side note, like many, I do not use the AI features in Acrobat. Please serve customers and not stockholders. 3 votes

New interface is barely usableNew interface is almost unusable. I have to basically edit and save documents multiple times a day. Both of those options are buried and when I used the edit feature I couldn't even figure out how to stop using it. thank goodness you had the option (though it was well hidden) to revert to the original UI. what were you thinking? 21 votes

Scroll bars missing on Acrobat DC September 2023 (masOS)It is extremely frustrating that the scroll bars are missing on the September 2023 release of Acrobat DC - they re-appear on a mouse click, but do not respond to Wacom pen. So to scroll through a PDF, the pen has to be put aside. This is slowing down my work considerably, and there has been a lot of frustration expressed in the Adobe Support Community, especially among Wacom users. This is not a behaviour that we can be expected to "get used to" or "love", as it has not been designed with the user in mind. 34 votes

Acrobat new interface layout is horribleRemove this new interface. Due to the update all settings of my old interface (shortcuts, custom button position) are lost and I have to set up my "workspace" new.
Stop deleting the users setting when an update is made - while we pay 700 Euro per year and person.103 votes

WORST UPDATE EVER!!!WORST UPDATE EVER!!! Both me, vision impaired with a screen enhancer program, and my boyfriend, an IT Pro, sincerely HATE this new version after only a few hours. The shortcuts are ****, the buttons we used to navigate are gone or just moved to new positions (a.k.a. "the Microsoft disease" - new look, no new features), new shortcuts don't work (Next page by Arrow right? NOPE, does not work.) PLEASE implement an option to revert to the old layout/look, and FAST!!! 12 votes

This new interface sucksCongratulations on complicating something that should be really straight forward. At least make everything editable, so I can keep the buttons I use more as shortcuts. The pages navigator and zoom being on the right side is just plain stupid. 60 votes

Remove "check out new e-sign tools" from all tools pane and show ALL toolsI want to see ALL of the tools in the tools pane. It's called the ALL tools pane but doesn't actually show you ALL of the tools. ?? It randomly truncates the list and shows a "view more" option; and the bottom of the pane is needlessly wasted with prompts to use other tools like "Check out new e-sign tools." I don't want or need to see any of that - just want the tools; but there's no way to turn off the waste of real estate at the bottom of the pane. 1 vote

Tool BarTool bar limitations are getting ugly. For example, cannot add / edit navigation tools to tool bar anymore. Some of us like to jump to the beginning / end of a document without having to wade through layers of menus. And why are the commonly used tools (page up page down print etc) tucked down in the lower right hand corner instead of on the tool bar near the top of the window like normal folk do?! Speaking of, there is a tool bar there but it is all empty space. What a freaking waste of screen space for no… 21 votes
