My Adobe Acrobat Pro DC constantly looses page content on open documents, requiring me to close the document.
pdf documents not opening properly, with blank pages. It is worse if I try and scroll through the article soon after opening it. It will also loose text from the after a time not reading the document. This may be after the computer has been put to 'sleep' for a period (even a few minutes). It reports the error message 'Insufficient data for an image.' The new version is MUCH worse that previous versions. Please sort it out Adobe.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.
Kindly share with us your machine details and Acrobat version.
Also please provide us some sample files on which you are facing this issue

Same issue here. I wouldn't even be too bad, but we can;t even click "reload", you have to physically navigate back to the original PDF and re-open. Very, very frustrating.

The advice from Nick about Group Policy sounded hopeful. But in our case we get the problem even if the PDF files are saved to the PC desktop, rather than on our server.

Same here. When i pay for the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC in Windows 10 Pro, this error is common. I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times to try to rectify the issue. It persists.
I am running 64 bit x64-base processor. Intel Xeon(R) 3.4GHz with 16.GB of RAM

If you are using Group Policy to push out drive mappings change the policy setting from replace to update. When the policy is set to replace every time the policy refreshes on a Win10 PC the mapping disconnects causing Acrobat to display any open files from a network share to appear blank until reopened. This no longer occurs when the policy is changed to update.

We are experiencing the same issue. The PDF is open and readable, but once the user disconnects from the dock and goes into a meeting, the same PDF is blank.
For testing purposes I have added a registry entry HKCU\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\Originals - bUsePageCache (1) to enable Page Cache. I just want to see if this is workaround until adobe have come up with a fix.

Having the same issue with blank pages. Sometimes just scrolling can create this situation. Am using Windows 10 and Adobe DC version 20.006.20034. Our IT department has been unable to fix this issue. Would appreciate any assistance.

I have been having this issue for months - did not make the connection to computer going to sleep, but that matches with my operation. Our IT department has set a very short period of inactivity before the computer lock screen comes up. Without doing a tightly controlled test, I think that the document on-screen sometimes survives sleep mode and sometimes doesn't.
I use Acrobat Pro to add various comments, including lines and shapes to engineering drawings in PDF format. One fortunate thing I have found is that Acrobat usually lets me save a file (accurately so far) even if it cannot display it. If it can't, the comments frequently are still showing, so I (a) make a copy of the original PDF with a changed name, (b) open the copy in Pro, and (c) copy the comments to the document copy.
I'm using Acrobat Pro DC on Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC, on a computer with an Intel i5-8365U CPU, on-board Intel graphics, and 8 GB of RAM.

I upvoted this because myself, my team members and many many other users of Acrobat have the same issue (just google it), let me copy my bug report from https://community.adobe.com/t5/forums/editpage/board-id/acrobat/message-id/151254:
"... in our (large) company, we use Adobe Acrobat Standard/Pro 2017 for PDFs. We have thousands of PDFs stored on a server.
When opening the PDFs from the server, they work as expected and we then keep them open in the background. However, as soon as we loose connection to the server only for a couple of seconds (happens very regularly, i.e. a) because of sending computer to standby, b) undocking computer from docking station so connection changes from ETHERNET->WLAN, c) a bad WLAN connection including a change of WLAN network while walking through a building), all the PDFs that were open before cannot be viewed anymore (note that the issue does not appear everytime, so might be hard to reproduce reliably). This issue remains even when the WLAN/network connection is fully re-established! They either have empty pages, or an error like "There was an error reading from the stream" or "There was an error reading this document (109)" occurs. Given that this issue appears on Adobe Acrobat & Adobe Acrobat Reader, but NOT in the Chrome-internal PDF plugin, it seems like Adobe is not "properly" caching the PDF files. In company-life, this is extremely frustrating as we regularly have to reopen the ~6 PDFs that we work with concurrently.
Is there a fix or setting available from Adobe? This and related issue seems to be known and plague many users on the internet, see https://community.adobe.com/t5/Acrobat-Reader/After-some-hours-pages-go-blank-in-Acrobat-Reader-DC-a....This Happens on both Win7 and Win10 (in my specific case Win10 Enerprise 64bit, build 16299), and affects basically every colleague in my team who uses Adobe Acrobat / Reader.

... and many more. It might actually make sense to combine those, because otherwise this issue will never get a large number of votes. You requested a sample file that faces this issue: Even the Adobe PDF Reference, 3rd edition (https://www.adobe.com/content/dam/acom/en/devnet/pdf/pdfs/pdf_reference_archives/PDFReference.pdf) sees this issue when I download it to a network server. I have _never_ seen this issue with a PDF file stored locally on my PC. I have attached a file showing two of the error symptoms that _can_ appear (there is others).
