Match pan/zoom between two tiled windows.
I work with a lot of floor plans and need to compare them between different documents. What would save me a ton of time is being able to match the pan and zoom actions between two tiles windows. So that when I zoom or pan to an area in one window, the pan/zoom is duplicated in the other window. This should work weather the two windows are of the same document of completely different documents. I realize I would have to have both windows looking at the same area and at roughly the same zoom level before turning this feature…

Please give users a way to disable contextual tips. Please. Please.
Please give users a way to disable contextual tips. This disrupts my work and it's irritating. I got a new iMac last year and did a clean install of the Adobe apps I use via the Creative Cloud app. Contextual tips have never stopped popping up.
Please make this stop. Please. Please. Please.
See the attached screen shot for the one that disrupts me most often.
Yes, I've searched your forums and posted about this repeatedly. Now I'm doing so via the Feedback feature in the app.

Request to revert back the color of icon from black to red for Acrobat Standard DC
Please revert back the icon color of Acrobat Standard DC to red or any other color but black. The black color has poor visibility and not eye friendly.
Request to take it on priory basis if possible as its slow down working speed as we loose the visibility of the icon on taskbar

Thank you for the feedback. The icon has been reverted to Red icons in Feb release of Acrobat and Reader.
Thanks,

option to open in read mode by default
The first thing I do when I open a PDF 90% of the time is Ctl+H to go into read mode. Could there be an option to open in read mode by default?

Allow the action wizard to "Save a Copy"
Action Wizard is missing the option to "Save a Copy"
This would be helpful to recreate files tagged with security labels that have had their fillable fields removed.3 votes -
Acrobat Pro DC on Windows PC - Exit program on final tab close
For Windows PC, please provide a General Preference Option to close/exit the Acrobat Pro DC program when closing the only open tab/document.
We open a document then review, save and close it. The program window remains open thus blocking the desktop and forcing us to exit the program manually. While that sounds like a minor inconvenience or inconsequential, in reality its very frustrating and time consuming. We consider it to be a Quality of Life issue that disrupts workflow processes and would like to see it resolved.
An option to "Minimize window on final document/tab exit and maximize window…

Microsoft Edge overwriting default pdf program
Microsoft Edge overwrites the default pdf program no matter how many times you change it back. You cannot even delete Edge to get it to stop doing it. Microsoft denied that it is possible for their program to change my default app without my permission when I contacted their tech support. Adobe should sue Microsoft. This is very frustrating, especially when you paid for the program and Microsoft can do this without your permission.

Remove e-signature ad in tool menu
Why is there an ad for e-signatures in the tool menu. It's embarrassing that I'm being advertised to in a $200/year program. It is also breaking the UI by forcing a scroll bar in the tool menu when there was none before the ad.

dynamic zoom and scrolling defaults
You should be able to set defaults for zooming and scrolling preferences that would apply for all documents so that you do not have to repeatedly do so for every pdf document you open.

View Bookmark and Page Thumbnail at the same time
I saw this was declined before due to lack of comments or feedback but i think this is good for a second round to try again. When i am revising documents for my projects, only way i can drag and drop is through page thumbnails but sifting through hundreds of pages is quicker when i can access bookmarks and click on the page to bring me to the right page i need to replace or modify. If both of the Bookmark and Page Thumbnails are able to viewed at the same time, it would make it more efficient to work…

Cannot process request when converting PDF to JPG. Adobe pro needed. Poor dialogue box instructions.
if I click to convert but i need to upgrade my plan to do so. the dialogue box should just say something like "please upgrade to Pro". not "contact support" . this wasted so much time with costumer support and could easily be avoided with a better dialogue box

When you load a pdf and save as a different name the thumbnail doesn't update even though the tab does (see images).
Step1 - Open pdf
Choose File>Save As (choose a location to save in)
Step2 - Type a name for the file to be saved as, Click Save.
Step3 - The main application file name has changed.
Step4 - When you hover over the application thumbnail it never updates until you close / open the file1 vote -
Cannot save if file is being previewed in Windows File Explorer
On the Windows 10 desktop, if your view option in File Explorer is set to have a preview pane and the file you're working on is selected and being previewed, Acrobat will throw a dialog window that says: "The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder.".
The preview pane is causing Acrobat to assume the file is in use, which technically it is, but this is a bug that shouldn't cause a file saving error. Selecting another file in File Explorer fixes this…

Make privileged locations visible for End Users in Acrobat DC and Reader DC
Defining trusted files, folders or hosts while transforming Acrobat via a .mst will ensure to configure the respective locations in the Systems registry and avoids, thats files are shown in protected view while opened from priveleged location. However, these Privileged locations do work as expected, but are not shown in Acrobat itself and are therefore not transparent and comprehensible for endusers. This is causing confusion as End Users want to be aware which locations are considered as Privileged. This will enable endusers to store trusted and commonly used files in these locations and therefore avoids to open them always in…

Open File Location of current PDF
Please make some way of locating the file of the currently open PDF.
Maybe right clicking the tab and selecting "open file location" or something. It's literally impossible to figure out where your current open file is located and is quite aggravating.
