Flexible Navigation Pane, Page Control & Toolbar Docking
I use dual 32" monitors for CAD. In version 2023-008-20470 this results is 8" of dead space on each side of a 8-1/2" x 11" PDF . While I like the smaller icons of the latest release, it is infuriating that I cannot place the toolbar, navigation pane, and page controls (Pg#, zoom, magnification, etc.) across the top where they would be most efficient to access in my situation. Their fixed positions on the sides of the screen might be acceptable to laptop users, but it is very inefficient on large monitors.

Get rid of your update
Roll back your update and don't make us use this awful, unintuitive, garbage new user interface. It is horrible, you have done an awful job of soliciting average user feedback.

Improve how user finds the version they are using
Why is it so difficult to find the version and to update existing version already installed. I do not like this program and only use it when I have to.

I can not buy and use registred products
I'm an assistant professor in pure mathematics at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad located in Iran. I can not buy registered products because of sanction against my country. On the other hand I can not access some parts of Adobe website without VPN. I kindly ask you to help me in order to buy your products and use them legally. At least I need Adobe Acrobat pro DC and Abobe Captivate. I can ask my friends who works in North America or Europe to pay for your products but I'm afraid sanction laws to restrict their bank accounts. sincerely. Mohsen Parvizi,…

Up and down keyboard keys no longer allow me to change the page
I have recently received the latest update, and now when I use the up and down keys on my keyboard it moves the cursor through the text. It used to be that this would change the page. What is truly annoying is that if I am on page 10, but the curser is on page 1, when I press the down key, instead of going to page 11, it goes to page 1, because this is where my curser is. I have used the up and down keys for many years, and I can not seem to break the habit.…

<Lbl> accessibility check
According to the PDF Association Syntax Guide Page 26 (https://pdfa.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/TaggedPDFBestPracticeGuideSyntax.pdf#page=26), and <Lbl> tag should be applied to any labelling text, even if it is inside a caption for a figure or table. However, every time I run the accessibility check in Acrobat Pro on this, it fails it; it appears the check thinks that only LItems should contain an <Lbl> as a child.
Additionally, I think <Lbl>s should be allowed as the children of Paragraph tags as well, in the case where a single paragraph is labelled but the labelling text is not indicating the start of a…

Acrobat Reader Freezes Upon Launch
Current version of Acrobat Reader is trash. It freezes for several seconds EVERY time I open it. It's to the point where I'm now making the effort to only close individual PDFs, rather than closing Acrobat altogether, so I don't have to wait through the "start-up freeze" several times a day.
Additionally, forms have been acting strange in some cases. We have some forms where you can type stuff into a field, and as soon as you click out, the field goes blank. Then if you click in, the text is back. But that's pretty stupid, you should be able…

f4 shortcut default behavior should revert to access pages panel in new acrobat
Ai feature removal requests aside, the f4 key is muscle memory for me to get to the Pages sidebar. Having to use the extra click to get out of the AI assistant panel and to the Pages panel that I want, is frustrating. And cumulatively, a time-suck. Feels like user-hostile UI practices.
As a side note, like many, I do not use the AI features in Acrobat. Please serve customers and not stockholders.

stop coming up with new stuff!
It is tiring to deal with ever changing technology. The previous interface was so user friendly and everything was working smoothly. There is no reason for your company to spend resources on ever updating and changing interfaces. It confuses the users and creates more tech support request. Some things are best to be kept as is as they are working perfectly.

Have an option to hide the editor features and use a reading/display mode as default view
I want to use the browser extension for Acrobat Pro as my default PDF handler but most of the time, but not all the time, I am just wanting to open and read a PDF and not edit one. I was surprised there is no option to have it default into a reader mode/display mode with the editor interface hidden with perhaps a button that will toggle back to edit mode when needed.
You can see the default view in the attached screenshot which clearly isn't conducive to just reading. The pdf is shrunk into that window making the text…

Malicious behavior of the Search box
From initial versions of Adobe Reader, its search box behaves (in Windows) a different way than any other dialog box.
When I try to select part of the searched text to change it, it lets me select it, and only when I release the mouse button, it selects everything.
It is not possible to accustom it, because the whole Windows environment behaves different way.
So it makes me angry every day for decades!
I suppose there is not any settings or workaround for this problem, so this behavior should be changed.
BTW, I do not understand why this was made…1 vote -

We Need a Flip (Horizontally) and Stick Floating Toolbar
Please give us a floating bar with flip and stick functionality. The request is two part:
(1) THE FLIP: Please program a floating toolbar that cab be flipped horizontally. The vertical bar can be problematic on both small and large format screens. On small screens it may float over the text (where documents are maximized for readability) making documents less readable (I see this problem commonly in Adobe Discussion threads). My problem is that I use a large screen, and often review wide format documents (maps, plans, etc.) or I am using a two-page view. With my bigger screen, the…

BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD on you ADOBE
I lost 2 days thinking I could put things back - 2 DAYS of WORK!!!!!!
Adobe didn't even tell me they changed my program, the way it looked, operated etc! It took me an hour to find the phone number. Then to have me tell them RESET (which I don't remember where it was) was going to take me back to my app from before the update. SHAME ON ADOBE!!!! We have to get our work done over the weekend now. I want a REFUND and Acrobat should have had more insight on this before rolling the update out to…10 votes -
Horrible new layout
One moment, I was using Acrobat to review and edit page proofs for a medical journal I handle and the next moment all my customization was gone! No toolbars, nothing I need to do my job. All gone! Additionally, the new layout is HUGE and unwieldy. I want to be able to sort through several PDFs to compare pages and revisions. Now, I have one page taking up the middle of my screen and this giant blank workspace all around it. Where did everything go? Why did Adobe completely change everything after years of a familiar, but ever updating application?…
