Hyphens and apostrophes disappear when programming editable fields in a form. This bug is only for reversed out text, and only happens when Indd files are placed into another Indd file, before the PDF is exported. The PDF is fine, until you go to program editable fields, at which point the hyphens and apostrophes all disappear. (This only happens for white text). 1 vote

Side by Side Synced ViewI just found a couple of comments on Side-by-Side viewing that appear to have been blown off by people that don't understand the need for the Feature.... However, I do recall doing it in the past, so I would think it should be considered a BUG since it did exist years ago. I haven't needed to have two PDFs open and synced in a while, so I was very shocked to find that I could not do this anymore. Seriously considered digging out one of my really old versions and converting the PDFs back to that version. So to the head of the Development Team... Just because your coders don't get it, that's not a reason to blow off a VERY USEFUL feature. And no, the built in Compare will not work for me (or the other comments I read). I actually think the Compare feature is a waste of time, but I'd never suggest getting rid of it because I'm sure there are others that use it frequently for little word changes. Acrobat Pro 2020 users (So please don't add this for those that use the web. That will never happen with any of my client's PDFs.) MacOS Acrobat Pro DC: please add ability to specify default save location, or reduce the number of steps required to specify a save locationMacOS Acrobat Pro DC: please add ability to specify default save location, or reduce the number of steps required to specify a save location. As of now, every time I want to save a file, I have to go through the following rigmarole: SAVE --> CHOOSE A DIFFERENT FOLDER --> [SPECIFY TOP LEVEL FOLDER] --> [SPECIFY SUBFOLDER] I literally need to save my files in the same place, EVERY SINGLE TIME. The folder is the downloads folder. However, that will never ever ever ever be in the initial list of folders I am presented to choose from. The initial list is not even a list of files that recently had files saved in them from Acrobat. Rather, the list of folders is simply the 5 folders that have most recently had any change to their contents, regardless of whether the change was a new file being saved, regardless of whether the change was made by Acrobat, or even the OS. Rather, it is a list of 5 totally irrelevant folders so I have to click CHOOSE ANOTHER FOLDER... every. single. time. bad design MacOS Acrobat Pro DC: please add ability to specify default save location, or reduce the number of steps required to specify a save location. Acrobat automatically jumps into OCR. I do not want OCR. I know the un-OCR'd image is in there. I need to retrieve it.I need to retrieve an un-OCR'd image of a (48 page) file. I know it's in there because it pops up every time I open the file and the system automatically goes through the OCR process then allows me only to save the post-OCR'd file. I click on the OCR turn off but, as I open the file, it clicks itself back to OCR land. This is very frustrating. 1 vote

editClick Edit and the first thing that occurs, Rotate/Skew. Can this be disabled? 99.9999999% of the time I just want to add or edit text. Instead I have to wait for R&S to complete, then UNDO R&S just so I can get to edit text. Huge waste of time. 1 vote

Open File Location of current PDFPlease make some way of locating the file of the currently open PDF. Maybe right clicking the tab and selecting "open file location" or something. It's literally impossible to figure out where your current open file is located and is quite aggravating. 6 votes

Cloud documents did not sync all comments across devicesI had started adding comments to a long form document in Acrobat DC on Windows desktop and saved the document to my Document Cloud. Everything appeared to have synced. Later, I accessed the same document on my Chromebook using the Acrobat app (logged into my account). The comments WERE synced and I proceeded as expected, and added more comments. Another day, I reopened the document back on my Windows desktop machine and I believe all of the comments thus far had been synced. I proceeded through the document and continued adding more comments. Each time the document was saved, it showed that it was being saved and synced to DC. However, when I tried to access the same document today using my Chromebook again, it appears that all of the comments from the most recent session (on Windows) were missing. I closed the document and tried reopening it, thinking perhaps it had loaded an old cached version instead -- but when I reopened the document I saw the same set of comments and the most recent ones were still missing. Unfortunately, it seems as though that grouping of comments are now gone forever, as the document seems to have been synced again and I can see the comments from earlier as well as the comments from today, but not the comments from the previous session - regardless of whether I open the document on Windows or my Chromebook. This is somewhat disappointing, as it means I must now re-read over 100 pages and hopefully catch all of the typos and mistakes that were noted in the now missing comments. Notification of download for files uploaded via Acrobat Upload featureWe are a print and packaging company and use the Acrobat Upload feature in Outlook when sending proofs - It is awesome and saves a huge amount of time. Now I have been wanting to speed up the "Approval" time by contacting our clients which we send these links to, however I do not want to nag them thus I was thinking that if there was a download notification which gets sent once the client has downloaded the file - then we cold follow up as we know that they have downloaded the file but not approved it yet. Preview Fonts in Drop-down ListI've just started using Adobe Acrobat DC, continuous release. I noticed when editing a document, if I select the drop down list of fonts, all of them show the exact same font type in the list. This is really unhelpful, because I don't know what any will look like. This leaves me with two options. One, choose a font, see what it looks like, and keep it; or if I don't like it go back, click the drop down list, and re-scroll all the way through to find the next font in line and try that one. If I don't like it, repeat, repeat, repeat. Or I can look up online and type each font I'm interested in one by one, until I see one I like. Both INCREDIBLY time-consuming and tedious. How about like MS Word, show what the fonts look like by showing each name in the format of that very font. I think it's a great feature. In fact, it's such a kind of obvious feature, I'm wondering if there's an option in there to turn that on or off. I can't find it in a Google search, anywhere right now. Adobe Sign (Personal Accounts) Cannot DELETE Documents for GDPRMy personal adobe document cloud does not allow me to delete agreements on the account for privacy purposes (I just went through Adobe support and they also were helpless). It seems the GDPR privacy settings to delete agreements only work in business and enterprise accounts. 3 votes
