Adobe has to share their information about updates with third-party before updating automaticallyBefore an update is rolled out, third-party providers, e.g. for plugins, must be informed in advance about the content of the update so that there can't be any production downtimes! 2 votes

Need a tool to translate web pages in languages other than English. It would be much easier to have a translate tool in Acrobat than to take the downloaded page into Firefox, translate it, then pull it back into Acrobat. 1 vote

Delete shows up as an insert/text replacementI use the backspace key in commenting to strike thru text. Sometimes when I do this, the strike-thru shows up as a blue line and it is connected to a previous insertion. I can get it to work if I click on the strikethru text icon on the toolbar, but I'd rather it work when I use the keyboard shortcut. In the attached file, you can see where two sets of text are connected to the same insertion, making it hard to tell where I want text replaced. 1 vote

Visibility of Adobe Acrobat Pro\DC usageIts very useful to know who has been using the Adobe products within the last 90 days. This way we can swap licenses around when needed. A feature to show what users have used Adobe Pro or DC would be beneficial to support teams within the portal. 5 votes

Make the save button available even if no change to the documentPart of our workflow is to save pdfs even if there is no change so that it updates the file modified date. Currently we have to make a small undesired change to make save available. 1 vote

light blue background in fields buttons etcWhen a PDF form is seen on line or in a web browser there is a light blue background in fields , buttons etc. For what I use PDFs for (educational material ) it makes them unusable online which is a shame. It would be nice to disable this feature so that this is not seen 1 vote

I added form fields (including a signature field) to a PDF, using Acrobat DC. Now, when users try to fill andI added form fields (including a signature field) to a PDF, using Acrobat DC. Now, when users try to fill and sign the form using Reader, they get an error message reading, "The operation failed because Adobe Acrobat encountered an unknown error." They are unable to save a signature onto the document.
Not the most helpful of error messages. How can I avoid users getting this error?1 vote

Acrobat (and all derivative applications) should have a file Refresh/Reload command & shortcut
…Acrobat (and all its derivatives & applications) desperately need a "Reload" or "Refresh" command for the currently selected .PDF document. Not only may the document have changed without notice on the server without a semaphore lock on the file, but also Acrobat applications can and do frequently run into some kind of file reading problem, such as temporarily disconnected server, timed-out internet connection, corrupted connection, or not enough memory at the moment. Who knows why these issues weren't accounted for in Acrobat's development, but because of these issues, it seems very short-sighted from the development side to not have included2 votes

Redact financial figuresI was just trying to redact a 300-page PDF with nearly 3,000 financial figures all starting with "$" but there is no way to redact that automatically. I'd have to go select each one individually which would take much too long. I can "search and redact" for all instances of "$" but it only highlights that symbol for redaction, not all of the numbers that follow. It seems like there should be a way to auto redact financial figures and maybe even percentages. 2 votes

The "Set Destination" option in the Destinations context menu does not appear to behave correctly. If I create a brand new destination within a PDF using Acrobat Pro DC, then host that PDF on a web server, and then open up and navigate to that Destination via a web browser via the #[Destination] or #nameddest=[Destination] anchor tag (it makes no difference which browser), it will properly take me to that destination. However, if I then change that Destination in Acrobat Pro DC by moving to a different location in the document, and using the "Set Destination" option in the context menu of the Destination, and then rehost the PDF on a web server and attempt… 1 vote

Bug: Can't open PDF from ActiveX controlThe latest release of Acrobat Reader DC crashes when a PDF is accessed through an ActiveX control, such as Microsoft's CHM viewer. open in adobe from SharePointPlease work with MicroSoft and add the ability to open a file in the Adobe desktop app directly from SharePoint and include the ability to save back to SharePoint using the libraries versioning settings. I know we can add libraries via adobe to do this, but I need to access hundreds of libraries and its just too hard the way things are currently setup. 14 votes

Adding fill and sign tool to adobe acrobat reader version (English supporting Arabic)To whom it may concern,
I noticed that fill and sign tool is not provided in Adobe Acrobat Reader
specifically in the version English supporting Arabic; so I chatted with
technical representative who admitted that this tool has not provided yet to the mentioned version and they worked on it. I also asked him/her when he/she expected to be added; so he/she suggested
to fill this form to see this suggestion. I hope to support this idea, please. Thank you3 votes

Acrobat export to JPEG font smoothingTLDR: expected result is that fonts will look the same in exported JPEG as they do in the PDF (when displayed 1:1). They currently don't. When exporting to JPEG from PDF, even at max quality setting, embedded fonts have no smoothing/anti-aliasing applied when rasterized and look very choppy. Especially if exporting for web at 72ppi. Only way to mitigate (without fully resolving) this is to export at some absurdly high resolution (600+). We need not only resolution settings but dimension settings for JPEG export settings, and the embedded fonts need to be rasterized at that size and resolution / have… 5 votes
