new interface is terrible - please give option of classic viewI am a long time user of the creative suite and acrobat pro and have been intentionally not upgrading to DC because the interface is so aweful but now I have been forced to upgrade and I cannot stress how terrible it is. It's been around long enough for the feedback about how aweful it is to get back to you guys to fix the problem. Please fix it and add an option for classic view. It also looks an educational game for kindergarteners which I wouldn't even mind if it were easier to use. Please fix already. 14 votes

One time password optionThere should be multiple options to password protect a pdf, not just read/edit. When you make a pdf that is password protected, you have to make sure that whoever you are sending it to, understands how to enter the password, change the password and/or turn off the password. Not everyone uses Acrobat. To remove a password, you don't have to go into File > Properties and click the “Security” tab. Click the “Security Method” box, select “No Security”, and click “OK” to remove the password. Not everyone understands Acrobat. When you password protect a pdf, there should be an option to secure a pdf one time, or just to open. When the correct password is entered and the pdf opens, the password information is automatically deleted/removed. The next time you go to open the pdf there is no password. You can always turn it back on, if you know how, but this would be a simple protection if a pdf was sent via email, USB, cloud, … Not everyone knows and understands Acrobat. Rename TabsIt would be nice to have the ability to rename the tabs on the fly (instead of having to save them). When I combine pages or extract pages into a binder, I would like to have the ability to quickly change the binder name without having to save it because I won't necessarily need to save the binder. Thanks! 5 votes

ungroup highlighted textIndividual, multiple text highlights are created one after another and some can become automatically grouped, making it impossible to go back and delete just one of the highlights. Please offer the option to ungroup the highlights. 2 votes

Remove watermarks and headers\footers created by other appsHello , Team ADOBE , The acrobat pro dc should have a feature which can remove watermarks and headers\footers created by other pdf editor , i know its hard but we should have an option to select an object as watermark and remove it from all the pages , we need to manually remove such watermarks from all the pages , if we can set that kind of algorithm than we can choose which thing to remove from all the pages , it would be good , i have tried the adobe preflight too ,but does not work , so please bring that feature soon. Stop the Adobe Desktop Service.exe from memory hoggingAdobe should fix this (Desktop Service) supporting application for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC from taking up so much memory as a background process. Currently about 240 MBytes of memory. If all it is doing is checking the licence, why does it need so much space??! 2 votes

Adobe Acrobate Doesnt work with Fillable forms of the LiveCycle TypeIt is completely mind numbing that this product doesnt work with Live Cycle Designer files. These are the PDF files that are used by the IRS. So I can not fill in a form from the IRS and save it. BUT Apple Preview works perfectly fine on these files. So my FREE PDF viewer works better than this Adobe PDF P.O.S. What a waste of a product. 1 vote

Specify Order of Review by Recipients of Shared Portfolios or PDF documentsIn this age of social distancing and teleworking, having the ability to use Adobe Acrobat sharing of portfolios or PDF documents for the review and approval of organizational documents provides an additional reason for companies and organizations to use Adobe Acrobat in their everyday operations. The need is to have the ability to select the order in which a shared document or portfolio is viewed/commented by emailed addressees so that the review process can meet organizational processes/steps. 1 vote

Acrobat DC - Can't paste content into alt text or document properties fieldsAfter the most recent Acrobat DC update, we suddenly could not paste any text into the alt text field or the title, subject, author, and keyword fields in document properties. The cursor was there, but nothing appeared when we tried to paste. This happened when copying from any application (Word, PowerPoint, even from within the PDF itself). Oddly, we could paste into the body of the PDF, just not the alt text and document property fields. Ultimately we had to uninstall and reinstall, which seemed to fix the problem. But we have no idea what caused this malfunction in the first place. It happened with four different PC users but not with Mac users. Combine use of stylus and fingerpintI do a lot of pdf commenting, and I use a stylus/pen on a touch screen laptop to make this easier. The problem is that once I turn on the highlighter tool, I can't use my finger to scroll through the document, because Acrobat doesn't distinguish between the finger input and the stylus input. So I have to manually switch back and forth between the highlight tool and the arrow tool. Most other touch-capable PDF programs distinguish between finger input and stylus input, allowing you to scroll through the document with your finger and then highlight as needed. Keyboard shortcutsI would love to have a way to customize keyboard shortcuts, specifically for redaction tools - redacting full pages, redact page range, apply redactions would be great. 12 votes

Option to add file name suffix in PDF settingsIt would be great to have the option to append an exported PDF file name with for example "print", "proof", "_cropped" in the PDF settings.
Clients often require a print PDF with spreads, marks and bleeds and also web versions cropped and exported at screen resolution.
It would be great to differentiate these files automatically, especially when exporting large batches of files.
Please also add to option to export more than one PDF when packaging files for delivery.1 vote

Searchable linked Sharepoint/cloud filesOur organisation has Acrobat linked to our Sharepoint page, which we upload hundreds of work orders to. Our tradesmen will then simply open the relevant work order folder, and check out a work order .pdf as they are using it.
Currently they will have to sort through the hundreds of open work orders however, as the search bar in the top right corner does not recognise Sharepoint file/folder names, only local.Could I please request that the functionality of this search bar is extended to include linked Sharepoint, cloud etc. services? As more organisations move to cloud based data storage, I think this is going to become more relevant and frustrating. Regards,

Enable the facility to allow forms to accept backing file upload by signersWhen on-boarding new customers, it is required to receive backing data for identification purposes as part of anti-money laundering requirements. Currently, this is not allowable via the Adobe Sign service when requiring a form to have a signature. It would be extremely useful for this to be available within the financial services sector and I am sure many other service organisations. Should you require further clarity, I am more than happy to assist. 1 vote

Back button on Adobe signA back button (while saving your changes) would be so helpful! There have been instances on a document where I forgot to add two signers and have to start completely fresh after adding all the signature spots! OR if you miss the step of adding a password at the beginning step, you have to start all over again! 1 vote

Update/republish shared document with SAME linkWe need to be able to replace a shared document with an updated version, without sending out a fresh set of links to everyone. In a collaborative process, where a document is getting lots of review comments, eventually it becomes crowded and it's time to take on all the comments and republish version 2 (or 3 etc). Acrobat Pro DC does not allow this. We have to issue every reader with new links - this is tedious and error-prone for the document creator, and confusing for the recipients. I tried deleting pages and replacing them with new ones -- but Acrobat got into a horrible mess because it tried to put the comments back onto the new pages. I could not delete the comments made by others. For us this is a critical feature.
