  1. What we need is the option to disable this behavior that you described in your post.

    "The way a PDF file opens, like its zoom level, layout, or whether the window resizes is usually set by the person who creates the file. These settings are saved inside the PDF itself and control how it appears when opened by others."
    </snip>

    We do not care how the creator of the file wanted it to appear when opened.

    What we want is for the file to open nicely in our window, behave itself and not to trigger the resize and relocate…

  3. When I open Acrobat Reader and open a PDF, the images flicker. It used to work fine, but the latest updates have made it worse. The AI isn't helpful either.

  4. Stop putting advertising throughout the Adobe suite, and get rid of all the pop-ups that are slowing me down and bloating the software. I pay for a subscription and do not need your horrible "suggestions" - I just want working software. I am sick to death of closing random pop-ups and suggestions I never asked for.

  5. Please. You guys gotta stop with the popups. Adobe used to be pro tools, and now every time I have to open Acrobat there are 3 different popups or blinking things saying to try something A.I. or try a useless new tool. Please.

  6. You have added a button called "Try PDF spaces" exactly where the All Tools button was and forced the All Tools button to the right. Presumably this is to force clicks as folks who have memorized where the buttons they actually want to use are located and may click without looking. Get rid of it or move it to a less annoying place that doesn't disrupt workflows please. We already pay for your program - don't force us to navigate to things you want to promote. If it was actually good you wouldn't have to place it in the way…

  7. It would be great to be able to toggle through color separations from the output preview using keyboard shortcuts (that could also be hotkeyed to other input devices like Elgato Streamdeck or Logitech MX) but currently the only command that has a shortcut from the output preview is opening and closing the output preview itself. Please Fix This.

  8. am a paying customer of Adobe Acrobat, and I am writing to express my frustration with the complexity of the tool. I believe that Adobe Acrobat should provide a straightforward and user-friendly interface that allows users to perform simple tasks, such as creating a PDF from multiple images and saving it to a computer, without unnecessary complications.

    It feels like Adobe has had decades to refine this product, yet the process remains overly complicated and unintuitive. I don’t understand why it has to be so hard to perform basic tasks. I don’t need an AI assistant in this tool—I need…

  9. When highlighting documents that haven't been run through text recognition have an option to hold the shift key down and drag the highlighter in a perfectly straight line. Currently if the line is short enough it'll snap itself into a straight line but if it's longer it will keep whatever shape the line ends up as - presumably to allow user freedom which is helpful, but it's difficult to create a perfectly straight long line with mouse controls.

  10. When using documents larger than 1000 pages the counter does not correctly display the current sheet position, e.g. "105 / 1050", it should display "1050 / 1050".

  14. Have a button to completely turn off AI assistant - especially for creative writing. I write and teach poetry and flash fiction, and when students sent me a number of their poems, or when I work on my chapbook of poetry, it infuriates me every time to see the stupid message saying that it's a long document and asking if I want a summary. I DO NOT WANT A SUMMARY OF A COLLECTION OF POETRY. Nor do I want a summary of any of my creative writing materials that I open in Acrobat every day.

  16. Adobe clearly hates users and wants all subscribers to go away. Garbage UI that has only gotten worse over the years. Less usable, less functional, more cluttered up with trash that doesn't work. Thanks for nothing.

  19. Who at Adobe thought that it would be a good idea to have a floating toolbar that the user cannot dock, cannot flip horizontally, and, critically, cannot choose to hide? It blocks readable document content and is very annoying.

    Please create the option to hide the floating toolbar.

  20. Why does the All tools have to come up for every document I open when all I need to do is just view a file? I don't need to convert or add anything to it. Also, why does the document always default to open with the Select tool as in the screenshot? I only need to pan to view the document up and down.

    I wish there was a way that it stays on the selection I last used cause it's really annoying to open several documents just to close All tools and change the Select to Pan tool for…
