  1. In the order tool, besides all the insert options Adobe Acrobat already has, add a new option that will be called: "Capture Adobe Acrobat Printer job".
When you select that option, the Adobe Acrobat will show a message "Waiting pdf print job".
Then, any document printed in the Adobe PDF Printer will be inserted in the place you have selected.

  3. I am getting issues with scrolling documents - for viewing or editing - on Acrobat DC on Windows - all software up to date.

As I scroll down instead of the document moving clearly I get multiple repeats of the individual lines making the document unreadable.

It is only resolved by scrolling up a few lines and the document 'catching back up' with itself

This 1st occurred when I had Acrobat DC open on 2 windows - it now seems to happen after the program being open for a certain period of time - 15 - 20 minutes, whether I…

  5. I am trying to make some minor edits to PDF's, which I do regularly. The last couple of days, after working in Adobe for a while, I have run into a problem where, after each key stroke, the active window I am working in, deselects itself and I can't type anymore until I re-select it. Literally after every single keystroke.

I am on an HP Pro3500 Series CPU, Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit, 4 GB RAM, connected to a work server.

    Any ideas?

  7. Up until very recently, I could "edit" a pdf to change an address, and the formatting would not change. Now, when I highlight the incorrect address and paste a new one in, it makes my text align right and messes up the whole document. Then I have to reformat. It's very annoying. Yes, I realize that pdfs in general aren't files to edit, but this is necessary because they're generated by our website, and sometimes mistakes need corrected. Regeneration is not an option.

  8. Bug found when editing PDFs. I was trying to edit a PDF file which was read-only, created by myself in Photoshop so I'm certain I had saved it as a read-only pdf. I tried editing it using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and was allowed to do so up until I tried to save the file. When I tried 'printing' it so I can export it as a pdf, it came up with an error "File not found. Check the filename and try again.". When I tried Saving as... it came up with "The file may be read-only, or another user…

  9. It would be helpful if it was possible to automatically add a fill color behind the header/footer in order to be able to see the header text. It isn't always beneficial to have to shrink the document in order to get white space to see the header text.

  11. There should be an option to split all pages of a document in the middle. For example, when scanning books, a double page always equals one page in PDF. Cropping every page is very cumbersome

  13. It would be helpful if there was a Redaction Properties menu bar that could be more easily and quickly accessible when redacting a PDF document. The attached file is a picture of the properties menu I am referring to. If those options could be placed on a menu that was available on the top or side of an open PDF, that would be great!

  14. Instead of having a drop down menu for Fit to Width Scrolling and Fit One Full Page, place them side by side so that I don't have to click in and out, in and out, in and out.

  15. When you create a pdf portfolio using the Outlook add-in it generates a beautiful pdf portfolio that is great to work with. The only problem I have is that when I apply bates numbering to it, it applies them in reverse chronological order. I've tried sorting the portfolio different ways and applying the labels, but no matter what they are applied from newest to oldest. If there was only one way, it would make so much more sense to be from oldest to newest rather than the other way. But alas, it can only be done from newest to oldest.…

  16. With many tablets on the market now, Adobe should develop acrobat Pro for those devices. They're being made as computer replacements by both Microsoft and Apple

  18. I create PDF room plans from Design 2020. I have been doing this for years with no major issues. I often edit the PDF's to replace pages that have to changed due to client product changes. I also edit existing notes and add notes into the PDF, again with no major issues for years. Today I had to create a new page 2 for a set of plans. The page was successfully created with all text and images as they should be. I replaced page 2 in the plan set and then added additional notes on that page. I highlighted…

  19. Simple edits like adding a comma or capitalizing a letter randomly made every word with f in it become f unky. (speci f ication, prof itabiltiy.)

Then there's the issue of matching the font: if an editor could copy/paste an existing word or letter to make an edit that ensure the match.

Too bad. Indie authors/publishers need a reliable editing tool.

  20. Ever since getting Adobe Acrobat DC Pro (version 2019.010.20100) on a new Windows 10 64-bit Enterprise client , any time I open a PDF to do anything (edit, PDF, Organize Pages, or just leave the PDF open without selecting any tool), I have about 45 seconds before Acrobat locks up and is unresponsive. Every time I have to close the program. I have to go to another workstation running Windows 7 Professional SP1 and use Acrobat Pro 2015.006.30456, which runs flawlessly. Do I have to make a request to roll my machine back to Windows 7 in order to solve…
