  1. Within the Adobe Admin Console an administrator does not have the capability to export user data identifying which product is assigned to the user. To run the reports you have to drill to every product and export the data. I asked for the report from tech support and they said the feature I am requesting is not available but to request to it added as a feature. On the feature wish form drop list it does not specify Admin functions so I chose first Adobe product on the list. The function to export all user data to understand the products…

  2. Prior to mid December 2016 it was possible to create a file in Indesign, export it to Acrobat, export it from Acrobat to Word and then compare it in Microsoft Word (Office 365) with another file that has been subjected to the same workflow.

Since some stage in 2017 an incompatibility was introduced and this workflow ceased to work.

I have tested this workflow by comparing the Word files produced in Deltaview/Workshare and the comparisons are unstable and unusable, so the problem is not just with Microsoft Word's comparison engine (which works fine with files created within Word).

    The issue…

  3. I can see certain documents were created in MS Word with simple follow on/flowing text and standard paragraph styles ie no **** text boxes. Even with the export options turned off, Acrobat does this incredibly annoying export to text boxes where it is simply run-on (flowing) text. You then have to extract the text, box by box to get the document to be in an editable form. Even exporting to rtf has similar issues. Exporting to plain text means you have to format.

In the end, you waste valuable time either extracting the text or having to reformat the text…

  4. In acrobat XI, text boxes and other markups added in adobe are excluded when exported to jpg format.

Exports to tiff format work correctly.

Workaround: export to tiff and then convert to jpg

  5. The latest version is taking too much time while saving the file. Sometime the latest version gets corrupted after saving. We fill that the older version was better.

  8. Hi,
We use Adobe Reader Pro to convert PDFs to DOCX. However, there is a problem when we are trying to convert a PDF having some greek letters (please check the screen I have attached). For example, lowercase Greek Delta is being converted into uppercase Gamma. Is there any possibility to change this behaviour to the correct one?

  10. The type and spacing are out of sorts - especially if a graph happens to be in the paper. You have to essential hand type in the data to make sure all data it's aligned properly. Often font changes, as does spacing. This just requires extra attention, and editing. Apart from that - great program!

  11. We often receive multi-page PDFs of publications initially created in InDesign with a request for updates. In order to make these updates flexibly, we would have to recreate the document indesign and then make the updates.

I seams reasonable to ask Adobe, to create a functionality, where one can convert or export PDF (generated from InDesign document) to .indd InDesign file format.

  12. Steps to Reproduce:
    1. open acrobat DC
    2. create a PDF from file.
    3. save file
    4. check the original file to see if it has retained it's format and is properly openable.

    Environment:
    OS: Windows 10
    CPU: Intel i5 6600k @4.3GHz
    RAM: 16gb(2x8gb) G-skill Trident-z @3000MHz
    Motherboard: Gigabyte G1 gaming 5

    Acrobat Version: 2015.023.20070

    Expected result:
Doing this should bring up a new save dialogue, or the save-as dialogue technically. Then once it is saved it should switch to that file.

    Observed Result:
Doing this overwrote the original file w/o providing a save dialogue.

    I have attached the ruined…

  15. Each time I export to excel the format is not like the previous versions. There is far more work to format the document. Cells will auto merge or additional columns will be added. Past versions have allowed me to export the exact document with no format issues.

  16. As a Mac user since the early 80's I use the Mac Suite of PAGES, NUMBERS, etc. No MS WORD or any other MS product will ever be on my machine! If this is supposed to be a Mac compatible application it should be able to export my edited pdf documents into PAGES.

  17. When I export PDF to postscript and next create PDF from that poscript, text is viewed correct, but when I try to copy that text then all or some text is unreadable. I am using Adobe Acrobat DC. Input PDF file could be created in older version of Adobe. Do you have similar problem? I wonder if you have found a solution so you can share with me.

    Thanks,
    Krystian

  18. Hi,

I use Acrobat fillable forms and really need my clients, that use just the Reader version, to be able to export to Flat PDF and JPG after they are done with the editions.

Would that be something to consider make it available to Adobe Acrobat Reader?

Thank you very much for you consideration.

  20. When exporting a PDF with Footnotes into Word, it would be good if the Footnotes would be retained as proper Footnotes.

Right now the text from the Footnotes appears at the bottom of the page in Word, but what looks like Footnotes isn't in the proper Footnote area of the page, nor are the "Footnotes" linked to the Footnote References.
