  1. Current default color is nearly unreadable. All my PDF's are using this color, so it's the default. Unable to change the color except by opening every PDF with bookmarks & changing using properties bar. Color change should be easier

  2. Dear Adobe... for over 20 years I have used Adobe products and with one or two tiny exceptions in the early years, and absolutely loved them all. Photoshop, Design, Creative Suite, Premier Pro you name it I've probably bought it and in many cases bought literally dozens of copies for numerous functions and colleagues too many to mention (see my old Adobe account). One of these which I have used almost daily for years was Adobe Acrobat Pro. I still have 11.0.23 running on an old laptop and it runs like a dream. Full of features and stable as mile…

    Hi,

Sorry for the Issue that you are facing while using Acrobat DC.

Could you please specify what exactly do you feel Buggy with the latest version ?
Also When do you face crashes/Slowness on using Acrobat.

Would help if you could send me the crash report when Acrobat crashes for you.

    Thanks
    Ayush Jain

  3. If the Mac is connected to a WLAN hotspot, but has no internet access via this WLAN and I start Adobe Acrobat, the program crashes. The interface opens briefly and then Acrobat wants to log in with the account to check its license. Either the program terminates itself or the Mac has the beachball. In this case Acrobat cannot be closed normally. Only if I kill the program the Mac can be used normally again. If I have internet access via the WLAN or deactivate the WLAN, Acrobat will work again.

  4. Acrobat Pro DC 19.010.20069.49826 has a problem with TOOLS. When something like PRINT PRODUCTION is added using ADD SHORTCUT, it will not remain after the computer is booted but will be there is Acrobat is cloed and then re-opened.

  5. Please Keep "fit one full page" and 'fit to width scrolling" as separate buttons and not in one drop down menu. I switch between these two options a lot since I read a lot of scientific publications and I need to go back and forth, zoom in and out a lot. It is really annoying to click twice every single time.

  6. In Acrobat Pro, reducing the size of the bookmark text also reduced the bookmark height, so more bookmarks were visible at any one time. In Acrobat Pro DC, the bookmark height is fixed at a height that accommodates large text, so reducing the text size doesn't increase the number of visible bookmarks. For example, where I could previously see 57 bookmarks in Acrobat Pro (with small text), I can now only see 40 bookmarks in Acrobat Pro DC.
Having more visible bookmarks makes the bookmark facility more useful. It is easier to find a bookmark, and it is easier to…

  7. Adobe Acrobat DC is just an awful counter-productive tool now in Mojave. It crashes hourly (if not more often) just doing normal very simple tasks that I would normally be able to do in previous Mac OS. It doesn't matter if Im just reviewing a pdf made by someone else, creating a PDF from INDD, adding notes to a supplied PDF, etc etc etc ... it just constantly crashes. No warning, no error, just crash... program just quits out. So counter productive now its killing us as a company. PLEASE FIX!!!

  9. Brief title: Bug: no key binding of custom menu
Steps to reproduce the issue: Adding a (sub)menu item through javascript API e.g. app.addSubMenu('CustomScripts', '', 'File', 0)
Environment (OS, other related application versions, etc.): Windows 7 running Acrobat 2019.008.20081
Expected result: An alphanumeric key binds to the item name. In the example above, since "C" is binds to Close of File menu item, binding of "u" is expected to the custom menu item named "CustomScripts"
Observed result: No alphanumeric key binding. A user using keyboard can only navigate through arrows, which is tedious and not accessible friendly.

  11. DUPLICATE SUBMISSION WITH ATTACHMENT EXAMPLES
The Acrobat Reader DC basic version has a very helpful "Save as" function where it brings up a user friendly window with 4-5 recently used folders, as well as the option to then browse further for another folder if needed. the Adobe Acrobat DC PRO version has a very different, very limited "save as" usability, where it defaults to a temp internet folder (that i cannot even find), which i will almost certainly never use as well. As far as i can tell there is no way to set a different default save as location…

    Hi,

If you wish to see the Save As dialog in Acrobat as per the “Save as ok” image shared by you, Kindly do as follows.
    1) Open Acrobat → Edit → Preferences → General
    2) Select the Checkbox “Show online storage when Saving files”

Try to Save as any pdf and check that you’ll see this dialog.
Let me know if that solves your concern.

Also please let me know the current version of Acrobat DC that you are using.

  13. The Zoom In (+) and Zoom Out (-) buttons, and the zoom percentage text box disappeared from my toolbar, and I can't get them back. These controls are only accessible through the menus or the undocked floating panel. Re-docking the panel doesn't bring these controls with it. Right-click "Show Select & Zoom Tools" doesn't even list them.

  15. There is a new problem with the toolbar, whereby page controls that were previously present are now hidden. The file tools occupy the same amount of space regardless of how many commands are contained within that space. Please fix this bug. Commands like 'fit one full page to a window' are no longer visible unless you un-dock the page controls from the toolbar.

  16. When using the arrows to scroll page by page through a file, the navigation arrows jump back and forth across the top of the page if the length of the page title differs, making it impossible to quickly click through the document without chasing the arrows around. This is a clear oversight and design flaw.

  17. I have a purchased pdf with bookmarks and links to areas throughout the same documents. However clicking on the bookmarks does not do anything.

I have checked the link by
    right click
    selecting 'edit link'
    selcting 'actions'

The Action is 'execute a menu item' 'Go to a page in this document'.

Bookmarks and links appear to be set up correctly so I am not sure why they are not working?

  18. I want my old desktop downloaded 2011 version back with all of the functions intact. Paying an annual subscription for less functions and usability is garbage. We are a construction company that gets hundreds of project drawings in pdf format from owners and contractors. The new measure tool is one of my biggest complaints about the updated software. The measure tool basically has 1 function and it never works properly. If you do not have an original CAD or DWG file and the software to support it you cannot measure anything properly. I can no longer check or measure angles…

  19. I am visually impaired and have implemented the Windows accessibility features that allow me to make my mouse pointer dark, inverted and larger, so that I can more easily locate the cursor on the page. However in Adobe Acrobat DC, your default cursor does not allow this Windows feature to carry over. Honestly it is terrible and should really be fixed to be at least darker, larger and bold so that visually impaired clientele can use your products.

  20. I'm trying to make the select tool the default when Acrobat opens instead of the hand tool.

I was running Acrobat DC fine with the select tool as the default on Windows 7. I just got a new computer with Windows 10 and now I'm having trouble. Same version of Acrobat, just a new operating system.

I've tried almost everything mentioned in this thread: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2179758

The one thing I couldn't try was the scrubbing tool, because I have Creative Cloud. I did uninstall and reinstall Acrobat. It didn't work. Then I tried the "Repair Installation" option in the Acrobat help…
