2. Allow greater precision for control points in Geospatial Measures Dictionary

   In the Adobe SDK Extension to the PDF (ISO32000) standard, Extension Level 3, there are several Array structures that encode a series of control points for Geospatial measurement.

   In particular, we are interested in the /GPTS and /LPTS arrays in the Geospatial Measure Dictionary.

   Since the elements of these arrays are PDF number objects, we can only expect a limited amount of floating-point precision to be preserved by PDF reader implementations (which typically represent PDF number objects as either 32-bit integers or 32-bit IEEE 754 single-precision floating point). This amount of precision is often insufficient for workflows that involve recovering precise geospatial data from Geospatial PDFs.

   For example, imagine we have a control point at the center of the court at Adobe Headquarters (latitude 37.33106, longitude -121.8937). Given that a 32-bit float has ~7 digits of precision, we can expect to see at least some error in the last digit when we perform arithmetic using that control point and page point locations. In order to get a sense of the scale of the error, let's vary each coordinate by 1 on the last digit (eg. latitude 37.33105, longitude -121.8935): we get a location that is ~10 meters away from center of the court (nearby the southeast corner of the court). Thus, by commutativity, we could expect to be introducing error of that magnitude to all locations described by the Geospatial measurement frame.

   In order to better preserve coordinate precision, it would be beneficial to amend the supplemental specification to allow a greater number of significant figures to be encoded in control point coordinates. This would eliminate the control points as a significant source of error (leaving only the page point coordinates, which could then at least be preserved in the maximum fidelity allowed by their own PDF number representation).

   We suggest that this could be accomplished by allowing optional arrays, corresponding to the /GPTS and /LPTS arrays, that would store string objects instead of number objects. These objects could be parsed by the consuming application as floating-point values of arbitrary precision. These optional arrays would be included in addition to and in supplement to the /GPTS and /LPTS arrays, and could be ignored by applications that do not require that level of precision.

3. I created a multipage PDF from an HP scanner but only page shows in Acrobat DC

   I created a 2 page PDF using an HP Scanner. I saved the file as a PDF. If I open the PDF in Chrome or Edge, I can scroll to see both pages. But, if I open the PDF in Acrobat DC, only the first page shows and the page count shows 1 of 1. Any suggestions as to why?

4. Unwanted fields in fill & sign form

   The form below is an Adobe PDF printout from an Excel spreadsheet. For some reason, fill & sign always adds unwanted, mandatory fields to my document, they just appear, and I have to delete them every time. I send this form for signature dozens of times per week, so this is becoming more time consuming the more I use fill and sign. Your help with this bug would be most appreciated.

5. Alt text as searchable content in PDFs

   Would love for alt text to be part of the searchable text in Acrobat's "Find" function—whether that's alt text that's been added in Acrobat as a tag or has been set up prior in another program (like INDD).

6. Option that allows for only one window to open on taskbar when you hover or click on Adobe

   Currently when you have more than one thing opened and you want to get back to it and you don't have Adobe open it brings up all your tabs and then you have to click on the specific one. I want to have an option that allows you to just click on the program and for it to open right away on the last tab you were on rather than having that extra step of clicking on the specific PDF ever time

7. Confirmation box when OCR is complete

   I have a lot of documents to scan, save, and upload and I wish that Acrobat DC would put a little confirmation box so I can remember if I have performed the OCR already, because for some reason it is easy to forget and there seems to be no way to confirm the OCR has been performed and no way to set Acrobat to provide such confirmation.

8. Please fix the deskew feature in Adobe Pro DC

   I used to deskew in Adobe Acrobat Pro whenever I OCR'ed a document. And the deskewing worked so well: every page would be rotated a tiny amount and usually the improvement was noticeable.

   In Adobe Acrobat DC (on macOS 10.15.7), the "Recognize Text" function no longer performs deskewing. So I OCR and deskew using the "Enhance" function under Scan & OCR:

   Scan & OCR > Enhance > Scanned Document > Deskew

   However it doesn't seem to work. Although the Deskew feature is turned on in Filters under Settings, when I run Enhance, it doesn't actually deskew. (And worse, unless I change the default image quality to High Quality, the image is degraded.) I thought maybe my documents were all 100% aligned. But then I ran into a document that clearly needed deskewing and nothing happened when I deskewed.

   It seems to me that from one version to the next, routine tasks should become more convenient to perform. This is not what's happened.

9. Add ability to change default font for fields in Prepare Form

   When using Prepare Form, I have to change the default font and size to my preferences on EACH field I enter. There should be a way to set your preferences for font and size.

10. Acrobat DC licensing fails on Windows 10 ARM computer with CC 4.9.0.504

    BACKGROUND

    I have Windows 10 on Microsoft Surface Pro X laptop (ARM processor) which runs Windows 64-bit but runs apps under 32-bit emulation (unless specific ARM version available).

    I have CC subscription which installed/managed 32-bit version of Adobe apps. Looks like latest version it automatically updated to was CC 4.9.0.504.

    REPRO STEPS FOR CC 32/64-bit FAILURES

    1. I received notification that Photoshop for ARM (beta) was available and wanted to install it... --> it requires CC latest version 5.3.5.518 before I can access that version of Photoshop.
    2. Manually installed CC latest version 5.3.5.518 (since CC auto-update seems to have kept me on the older version of CC, probably because it "knew" I need to keep using 32-bit version of the apps)
    3. Installed Photoshop ARM Beta and verified it worked fine --> BUT CC no longer was able to "see" and manage my Adobe 32-bit apps which were installed on my computer and which I needed access to. This latest version of CC only shows Photoshop (and I think Lightroom) as being available to install as desktop apps. Obviously, this is not viable for me....
    4. Went back to install older CC CC 4.9.0.504 --> This took out Photoshop ARM beta (sigh...) but restored ability to see/manage my other Adobe 32-bit apps
    5. But now I have a lingering BIG ISSUE. My Adobe Acrobat DC is no longer working at all even though it is one of the few Adobe apps that is still made available in both 32-bit and 64-bit

    REPRO STEPS FOR ACROBAT DC FAILURE

    1. From CC 4.9.0.504, uninstall Acrobat DC
    2. From CC install Acrobat DC
    3. Start Acrobat DC --> Note that app title bar shows Acrobat Pro DC (not sure why... I think my subscription provide Acrobat DC, not Pro version???)
    4. Adobe Sign In screen pops up (even though I am signed in CC)
    5. I sign in... popup goes away and a few seconds taken to load my account info
    6. Then all windows close and disappear without any warning or error message

So ist es zwar abspielbar aber bei den Steuerelementen lässt sich nichts einstellen. Ob ich dort "keine" oder "Alle Steuerelemente" auswähle ändert nichts an der Darstellung. Es werden keine Steuerelemente angezeigt. Auch das Feld mit der Farbauswahl lässt sich nicht anklicken. So kann man das Video im PDF mit einem Klick darauf zwar starten, aber nicht mehr anhalten oder erneut starten.

15. stop showing the history window when no other files are open

    Having to move it and manually close it every time Acrobat is activated is a productivity killer. Until it's fixed, I have to set another pdf reader as default. I think the prior version did not have this problem.

16. Font changes after writting polish letter ex. ąęćź in fill&sign module

    It is very annoying and document filled randomly with two types of font (because same fields contain problematic letters, others not) looks awful.

19. I was editing a pdf by doing some highlighting and then when I wanted to control F search for a word it flipped all my highlighting marks

    I was editing a pdf by doing some highlighting and then when I wanted to control F search for a word it flipped all my highlighting marks. It says it was converting it so that i could use the search with control F and even though the pdf was the correct horizontal orientation before it just flipped the highlighting marks to be vertical as shown in the screenshot

20. Allow us to group shapes to move together.

    I would love to be able to create several shapes together so that I could move them together and resize all the shapes in the group at the same time. I do this in Word 2016 and would be awesome to do it in Acrobat Pro DC. I also can not believe that there aren't much more shapes to choose from like in the Word 2016 shape palette. Like a star, or "{ }", see attached file.
