  1. Program crashes while saving after background has been added

    When sending bills or other letters as PDF I add our company logo in the background of the document via Acrobat. Everything works as expected until I save. Then the program crashes every time. The file however emerges complete and intact after I restart Acrobat.

    MacOS 10.13.6
    Acrobat PRO DC 2019.021.20061

    • Export PDF via Save Dialog from MS Word (ver. 16.16.17)
    • Open PDF in Acrobat
    • Add Background (PDF File with Vector Graphic)
    • Save -> CRASH

    I use the current version of Acrobat, but the issue has been persistent for years.

    Sorry for the issue that you are facing while saving the PDF.
    Could you please share the Crash report that appears after Acrobat crashes for you on you Mac system ?

  3. TOOLS TAB NOT WORKING

    'Tools' tab not functioning.
    When accessing directly from top bar, or from the last option on the right column, the tools tab is a blank screen. Not offering the options available, including to redact a document.

  4. I have the problem several times when I start with a design and end with this, it becomes a very large file, so I can work with it more easi

    I have the problem several times when I start with a design and end with this, it becomes a very large file, so I can work with it more easily, this will then be up to 1.6 GB, I would like you to make this smaller in illustrator, just like in photohsop. And also the idea of turning all layers into a layer, just like in photoshop

    In one of the last updates, the password security has changed from allowing one to copy and paste the password into the dialogue box to requiring a manual typing of the password. When putting the password into a document for the client to open, there is always a chance to type the incorrect password and the document cannot be opened. When the document cannot be opened, I do not know what has changed from the proposed password.   10. Arial font disappeared from your app

    Arial disappeared and changing fonts screws up the formatting of the existing text. Most recently, it added a "!" at the end of every line of text. Trying to delete the "!" changes the margins and layouts to outside the borders. Trying to change the font messes it up even more.

    How do I fix this?

  12. Serious Accessibility Bug Signature Form Accessibility

    "The lock document after signing" checkbox is not keyboard accessible.

    WCAG 2.0 and 2.1

    Success Criteria 2.1.1 Keyboard Accessibility

    To reproduce this problem open the test.pdf and select the signature field. Choose or create a digital signature and select Continue.
    Use the tab key to navigate the document.
    You will see that keyboard focus moves from the Create button (upper right) to "View Certificate Details" and "Lock document after signing" never receives Focus.

    "Lock document after signing" is not keyboard accessible.

    Tested on WIndows 7 and WIndows 10 with Acrobat DC Pro and Reader 2019.021.20061 and 2019.021.20058.

  13. Fill & sign

    what is wrong with Adobe, same bugs, never fix, can never fill and sign, always has an error and I have to spend hrs trying to figure a workaround, can you guys just stop bragging you are the best in the market, your products are outdated and for anything to be sent for filling and signing, just remove this feature as you are terrible at it.

  14. OCR for Tibetan and Devanagari

    Please develope OCR for Tibetan and Devanagari (More then 120 languages use it such as Hindi, Nepali, Marathi, Maithili, Awadhi, Newari and Bhojpuri and Classical Sanskrit). This would benefit millions of people and would be a huge contribution to humanitarian sciences, which deal with manuscripts in these languages, trying to retrieve ancient wisdome that is in much need in these modern times.

  15. Coping with javascript and interactivity in PDF files

    I have created interactive Maths resources in PDF files ( I have attached one sample). They work fine with the Adobe Reader on Windows & the Mac but not on Android phones or the Ipad. I need to use "PDF Expert"for the Ipad & FOXIT PDF reader for the android to see them working properly.
    I would prefer that they work on an Adobe Acrobat reader.

  16. Increase document size on cloud conversion

    I find myself unable to convert a word document file to pdf with proper hyperlinks for the table of contents. Please either increase the size limit for conversion of the files on Document Cloud and/or enable preferences option in Microsoft application for better conversion of files including attaining the hyperlinks in the documents and other features.

  17. Enter Measurement into Existing Scale

    When working with the Measurement Tool in Acrobat DC Pro. It should be possible to enter a measurement on a page when the scale is set. Rather than just stretching the line.

    For instance, if I wanted to see how far 22.22" is on a .125"=12" Scale.

    Currently the only way to find this measurement, is to stretch the measurement line. If Adobe would allow me to enter the 22.22", and then have the program measure that out, it would be an excellent resource.

  19. Saved Printing Preferrences on single document

    Microsoft Office products, such as Word or Excel, have the ability to remember previous printing preferences, even when you move the saved document to a different area or attach to an email. The document will still print, with your saved preferences. This is a feature that is highly needed on Adobe. For those of us with high profile clientele, it's nice for the client to be able to print without having to set settings or change preferences.

  20. Window Snap bug it does not paste back or to any other pdf files

    When snapshot is used and selected area is copied it cannot be pasted back to the same document or any other opened pdf document or into next page in the same pdf document,
    Can it be fixed?
