1. Password incorrect message appears for the correct password

   I have a password protected pdf. I can open it with the correct password. Then I tried to remove the protection going through below steps.

   1. Tools
   2. Protect
   3. Advance options
   4. Security properties
   5. Changed security method to "No security"

   At the fifth step, I got a prompt to enter the password again. I entered the same password I used to open the document, but it says the password is incorrect.

   I checked for non-functioning keys of my keyboard and Caps Lock key. I am sure I entered the correct password.

   I am using Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) 22.003.20282
   Today(13th Dec 2022) I upgraded to Adobe Acrobat pro.

   My password is something like this(not the exact one) : 26May1996235683

2. why is there no category for "complaint"?

   Next, who was the genius that came up with the idea to, when text is placed on an image, the app automatically breaks up that block of text into multiple blocks of text, thus making any editing or relocation a real pain **********. I can't believe this ridiculous bit of code survived the upgrade to this new version. Please explain to your customers just how this feature is supposed to be helpful because i can think of no way that text placement and editing is better affected by this feature. This feature is nothing but a tremendous aggravation and i wish you at least had the wisdom to allow the user to remove or disable it.

3. Discover Panel

   There is no option to prevent the "Discover" panel which shows Recommended Tools from opening EVERYTIME you open a document. When you're operating with a number of documents for data entry purposes, it is extremely frustrating to have to close the panel every single time you open a document. And no, the "save last settings" check box does not fix this problem.

4. Adobe Acrobat DC locks up/freezes when trying to apply a redact.

   When trying to apply a redact in Adobe Acrobat DC, the program will freeze/lock up, and displays a blank gray box in the middle of the screen. The only way to close the program at that point is via the Task Manager. When I re-open the .pdf file, the redact was not applied.

5. Login screen should not appear for users

   we are using okta SSO from domain joined devices. This auto identifys the user that is logged and signs them in. it dose not even look at the Email Address that is entered..i can login using this in the Email Address box

7. Bug: Adobe App Info in Windows Credential Manager

   Save App Info anywhere else aside from in the Windows Credential Manager. Overpopulation of Windows Credentials is causing my CFO's Adobe software & Microsoft software to completely fail to load. MS software profiles are also getting corrupted as a result. Since the Microsoft software is critical for daily work, this may force us to stop using Adobe entirely.

   In MS Outlook you can create a pdf and add it to an existing pdf. (As in my attached screen shot)

9. Make less complex - make graphic editing friendly

   Paint has the tools needed for commenting on eg a Music Score under PDF. Why re-invent the wheel with the clumsy clunky and partly unavailable Adobe Drawing tools under 'Edit'. Suggest collaboration with Paint and huge de-cluttering of the highly confusing and awfully corporate Adobe platform. Pro very poor value and re set password an Odyssean journey.

11. Ability to change time zone

    Currently in Adobe Pro it is not possible to change the default time zone of GMT for e-sign. Would like to be able to change this setting to EST.

12. Bug: Problem when adding signature image in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC v22

    We have installed Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on all our user machines.

    For the people with a license we let them log in so they can use the Pro features.
    For the people without a license we let them use this version as a Reader.

    This worked out great, but now we found out a bug.

    With Adobe Acrobat Pro DC when adding a signature image I go to "E-Sign" > "Fill & Sign Yourself" > "Sign" > "Add Signature" > "Image" > Browse to the image signature (.PNG) > Click OK

    And we receive a warning "You do not have access to this feature. Please contact your IT admin for more details." (Mind you that this is a FREE feature). When you click OK, you can still continue and add the signature to the document. But the signature is not being converted to one with a transparant background. See example:

    I went ahead and installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and did the same thing. "Sign" > "Fill & Sign" > "Sign yourself" > "Add Signature" > "Image" > Browse to the image signature (.PNG) > Click OK.
    Now I (ofcourse) received no warning since this is already the free version, but more importantly, the signature image is correctly converted to a true signature stamp with a transparent background. See example:

    This is in my opinion a real bug and should be fixed. The only solution now is to install the Reader version for all our users.. This would be a bummer since Adobe told we could use the Pro without signing in and be able to use the non premium features.

13. Confirmation email when sending out shared reviews

    I think I used to receive a confirmation email verifying when and with whom I shared a PDF review.It also contained the link to the review. Was this feature removed? Can it be added back? It is very handy to forward to team members that inevitably missed/can't find the email that was sent to them or insist they were never included in the first place.

15. BUG: Split PDF Output Options - "Same Folder Selected at Start" and "Use bookmark names for file names" is mutually exclusive.

    This appears to be a bug as other people around me using the same software have no issues with these 2 options being mutually exclusive. What setting or why are these mutually exclusive for me? Sounds like a bug as I cannot find any information as to why this would occur.

16. Option to put initials on each page

    For contracts (sometimes containing up to 600 pages) I need to add an initial on each page (requirment from our legal department). Now I need to do it manually on each page.
    Would it be possible to add the option to copy the initials to all pages?

19. Stop changing my tool preferences!!!!

    Stop changing the preferences users have set on the tools bar on the right side of the screen. I don't know what triggers it, but every couple of months, the tools revert back to your defaults. I only have the tools that I use in that area - some of which are NOT in your defaults - and having to go back and find all of them, and then reorganize them is wasting my time because IT WAS ALREADY SET TO MY PREFERENCES!!!!

20. Digital cert signature

    Good Morning Adobe

    Firstly I would like to congratulate all the Adobe team due the great work that you’re doing with your software.

    My suggestion for a new feature or modification one is:
    Be able to sign a PDF with a digital certificate instead of with a handwritted signature on IOS, specifically IPhone and IPad.

    Why?
    Actually, in the EU states, the 100% legal signature is the one from a .pfx ; .p12 ; .cer and .crt government validated, it’s true that if we use the handwritted one it’s valid, but you have to proof that it’s not screenshooted or edited by an open PDF editor. So what’s happening right now is that a lot of private and government processes are being slowed due every time that we have to sign (with a digital cert obviously) a PDF we have to have access to one computer (that you can trust or not) and then with your digital cert signature sign it.

    For example, actually if I have my digital cert installed on my IOS (IPhone or IPad device) I would be able to sign official docs if Adobe allows it, I’m a premium member subscriptor so even with my suscription I would be able to sign it.

    I hope that on EU countries we will be able to sign and validate PDF from IOS devices soon, it will help a lot more, in government administration processes, even between member states of the EU.
