1. Batch superscript or subscript within a field

   Holding the Command key (Mac) or Control key (Windows) should allow for selecting/highlighting multiple, separate characters or words within a text field. Similar to how the Shift key can be used to select/highlight a single range of characters.

   This would allow easier batch modification, to be used when making many singular characters within a paragraph into subscripts, for instance. Command or Control-selecting each character to be modified then enables the user to only have to click the subscript button once, instead of for each character after highlighting.

2. Fill & Sign Won't Save File

   After I fill in and sign the document, it won't save. The circle just spins forever until I eventually give up. Now I have to physically print the document and then scan it in, very frustrating and costing me time.

4. Bug? Signature not possible if page orientation changes

   I have a document with 3 pages. Two pages have landscape orientation and the last one has portrait orientation. It is not possible to sign the last page on the bottom of the page. The signature (with a picture) vanishes after closing the fill&sign tool. It reappears after opening the tool again, but anyway it is not visible in the resulting pdf-file. No matter if I use the PDF-Export of Excel or if I use the PDF Add-In of Acrobat in MS Office to create the PDF.

5. Arabic script with Fill & Sign

   This topic has been discussed before, but I want to share one thing the team might find useful.

   Now we tell all Acrobat users that Adobe Fill and Sign doesn't support Arabic. But when you look at it, we are able to type Arabic very well on Desktop machines and mobile devices.

   On a Mac for instance, as an Adobe CC subscriber, I have to choose English in Preferences for my Acrobat language in order to show [ Fill & Sign, Send and Track, and Send for Signature ] features in Tools workspace. If I go and change Acrobat language to Arabic, or English with Arabic Support above three features will not be displayed any longer.    I cannot test Arabic with Adobe Fill and Sign with Acrobat Language changed to Arabic in Preferences to see if it handles Arabic fully. I bet Acrobat team can do this for us.

   To shed light on this issue… as long as I'm within the Fill & Sign environment, I'm able to type and view Arabic that I typed as expected, it is once I leave Fill &Sign environment that Arabic words get fragmented and all characters get disjointed. So could this be to the fact that we must change the Language of Acrobat itself to Arabic so that Fill & Sign to function well? This I cannot verify and test due to he reason I mentioned above that some features will disappear from Acrobat upon selecting Arabic for language.

   This topic has been discussed before, but I want to share one thing the team might find useful.

6. Send for signature bug

   Clicked to fill and send for signatures, added email address, it then tells me I need to sign in or upgrade to use this feature despite it saying under Help that I am still signed it. Click sign in to sign in again and nothing happens. No pop up windows, no movement, computer is not frozen, everything else is working. If i wanted to do something else in Adobe DC I could. I'm already a subscriber. Why is this not working?

7. Make Fill and Sign re-editable by the user

   It MUST - absolutely MUST (!!!) be possible to use a version of 'Fill and Sign' that allows your form to be edited (maybe by you and only you) after you've saved it. For Adobe to keep saying 'it's not editable after you've saved it is pointless. For things like applications and long forms etc., you don't get things right first time, you have to go back and change figures etc, so either Adobe decide to make an editable version, or people use something else.

   At the moment, a pencil and a rubber is a better alternative. Please don't just reply by saying 'the document is uneditable once you've saved it' as on previous requests - that's the whole problem and it needs sorting!

   Hi,

   The changes you made inside Fill and Sign app becomes non-editable when you save the PDF after placing an Signature/Initial on the PDF. This is by design since placing the signature/initial is generally the last step in filling a form.

   You can always edit your changes before you place the signature/initial.

9. Signature disappears

   Signature disappears, asks me to add a new one, when I add a new one, it asks me to choose between the old and the new. Then I choose the old one, but it still won't let me add it to the document!

   2. You can make your selection in case you observe the signature selection dialog.

10. Google Suite (Gmail) contacts integration

    Allow user to access his contact list saved in gmail to send pdfs off for signature. There is no integration between a google suites account and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Even after adding the custom email in Pro DC, one has to copy paste email addresses when using the fill/sign feature.

    What if you didn't make your product worse for no reason. Like what if when I clicked Fill Forms it did what it used to do, which was let me actually click on the PDF and write things in.

    Instead, now clicking on the button pops up a GIANT ******** HUGE SCREEN BLOCK prompt with two options on it, one that lets me use the feature, and the other that brings me to a completely different feature.

    If you want to add another feature, add another tool, so that I can ignore it, instead of making literally every time I use your product take twice as long because you wanted to add a giant screen block where I choose which of two completely different features I use.

    OR if you must call it ******* Fill & Sign, at least put a little check box at the bottom that says "ALWAYS CHOOSE THIS ONE" so that I don't have to make this same stupid ******* choice every single time I use your product, and I can just do it once.

    ****, let me change it in settings. GIVE ME ANYTHING.

12. Fill and sign does not pull up saved signature image

    I was previously able to sign documents using a saved image via the fill and sign feature. I have now installed DC and when i open the fill and sign feature, I am able to add text to a PDF document but when i click the 'Sign' button, my saved signature images do not load. The box which is supposed to contain the signature images shows up but there is no content in it.

    This is happening with multiple docs. I was able to use this feature without any trouble until a few days back.

    1. Please make sure you are on the latest version of Acrobat. To check go to Help > Check for Updates.
    2. Are you observing a blank Sign drop down in Fill and Sign app?
    3. Are you able to use the Adobe Sign application?
    4. Can you please try signing out and then signing in to Acrobat?
    5. Are you under some network/firewall restrictions? If yes, can you please disable them and try again.

    This feature of saving my signature outside my computer should NEVER be activated without my permission!
    Signing could and SHOULD be performed only locally by using local images and file, there is ABSOLUTELY NO NEED for using your cloud services.

14. Acrobat Pro is Suddenly Shutting Down When I start typing

    When I start using the "Fill and Sign" function, it shuts down. Nothing gets saved either. It keeps happening. I tried to download my document, re-download the document, printed and scanned the document, and it is still doing it. I tried all of the fixes that were listed on the website and then restarted the computer and nothing was fixed.

16. When in Fill & Sign

    [BUG REPORT] When in Fill & Sign, Auto fill box make the document zoom out. Using Windows 10 Pro. All my programs are up to date. Please fix this!!! This makes it extremely hard to sign documents. I have to keep fixing the zoom multiple times on one page/ one document.

17. program crashing when using fill and sign

    every time i use fill and sign the program crashes.
    have had online adobe team fix multiple times (which takes hours)
    the problem will go away and then come back a month later . i have asked multiple times what the issue is with no explanation.
    i am using a brand new HP Pavillion Core i7 desk top.
    i will be cancelling my subscription and finding another means of completing my work documents.

18. more than 2 signature / initial options for fill & sign tool

    Only 2 signature / initial images can be stored currently. Every time I want another signature I have to swap out an existing image for one from my files. It would be hugely beneficial to be able to maintain a much larger selection of stored signatures / initials for completing documents for multiple members of the household.
