if I open an existing PDF and make changes it will not save, if I create a new PDF it will not save. I have tried save, and save as neither work. and I need this to work for my job.4 votes

Thanks for Reaching out to us.
I would request you to kindly add the Loupe tool in your main toolbar. thats how you can do that
1) launch any pdf and right click on the main toolbar
2) select “Show Select and zoom Tool” and click on “Loupe Tool”
3) click on the loupe tool icon added to the toolbar and then click on any area in the pdf
Now you can see an enlarged view of a specific area in a pdf in a separate window

why do we pay for creative cloud and now can't edit a form to enter a simple date. when trying to edit a w9 form for instance, i am asked to use life cycle to do so and that requires an additional monthly subscriptions???????????????????? this is bad.4 votes
You don’t need to edit the form to enter the date. Simply click on the field and start typing.
I have designed forms that my staff complete & then we provide to external sources. I need these to export as a flat file & don't see how that could be accomplished other than export to MS Word & then to a pdf... kinda labor intensive!4 votes
I'm not sure if this is an issue with Mac (OS X El Capitan, 10.11.6) or Acrobat (Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, 2018.009.20044), but if i put Adobe Acrobat Pro is in fullscreen mode it will occasionally pop out of it and appear in the current view. I have not been able to recreate the issue in an accurate way, but I've mostly noticed it whilst chrome is loading pages in a new tab, but it's also happened with other programs like the finder. If I'm viewing another program in fullscreen mode when it happens Acrobat appears infront, blocking my view. It's quite a nuisance. I made a screen recording of it happening, though as I mentioned I'm still not sure of exactly what triggers it.

Whose stupid idea was it to make drag and drop also copy pages when in the organize pages tool? And then why doesn’t ctrl z undo that copy and reselect the pages? This is literally how everything else works.
But somehow a slight slip in this program means I need to close the file, don’t save and reselect 200 pages again to delete them because of this.4 votes
We tried with several files and dragging does not copy the pages.
Is it specific to some files or is there a defined way to replicate it?
If file specific, can you please share the files with us?
This would help us investigate faster.
The type and spacing are out of sorts - especially if a graph happens to be in the paper. You have to essential hand type in the data to make sure all data it's aligned properly. Often font changes, as does spacing. This just requires extra attention, and editing. Apart from that - great program!4 votes
Whenever a digital signature field is added, we do not get the option to duplicate it. This would be very helpful in cases where same person has to sign on multiple pages in a document.
At present, it is giving the option to duplicate across pages, however, it is not working nor it is giving any error message.
Please include this feature in Acrobat, or grey out the duplicate across pages option.4 votes
Thanks for your feedback. Yes, this looks like a bug. Can you please let us know which Acrobat version you are on?
I am just updating my resume to be more accessible to vision impaired. I am having trouble with some items running together in read-aloud.
In Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
My favoured option would be that we have the option to insert a <pause> object in the reading order.
If this is not possible, can you change Read-Aloud to pause between elements.3 votes
Thank you for connecting with us. I believe you need a pause shortcut while using Read Out Loud. Please check View → Read Out Loud → Pause option. Use the shortcut key to pause and resume.
Please check this out and confirm if this resolves your issue.
As we need to put company stamp on big documents having 100+ pages so we had made an image file and added in Fill & sign section but since it doesn't have option to insert the stamp on all pages of documents it results in time taking job.
So, i request you to look out for solution & add the required update in the Acrobrat DC3 votes
Perhaps using Watermark would solve your problem. Please check this link:
Create external links to specific pages in PDF files on my file system, such that directory shortcuts or external links from other programs can be made.

Thanks for contacting us, Can you please specify what exactly is the issue you are facing here.
I am trying to use Acrobat Fill and Sign feature to send documents to clients for signature. I go to send them and I get "Invalid JSON" as an error message. It kills to progress to the Fill and Sign process and brings me back to a fresh document. I am using this file created in Acrobat.
I add two email addresses, add my own form language for the email description and body as I need to give info on other processes, and then click Continue and it gives the error message3 votes
Thanks for reporting the issue and we are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. I tired locally and was successfully able to send the file for Signature. Could you please confirm the following :
1. Do you see the same error with every PDF file or with this file only?
2. Do you observe the error with this file when you do not change the subject/body with your own language?
3. Also are you using English or some other language for Subject/Body? Did you use any special characters?
WHEN SIGNED FILES ARE SEARCH UNDER MANAGE WE ARE UNABLE TO FIND THEM. WE ACTUALLY HAVE TO FIND THEM MANUALLY WITH THE DATE IF SIGNATURE3 votes

Please add one.3 votes
Thanks for reaching out to us for your concerns.
You can find the sign-Out button on the right most end of the Tab Bar in Acrobat by clicking on the Image icon for your account.
Alternatively, you can find the sign out button under Help → Sign out.
Let me know if that still doesnt solve your concerns ?
I use a Macbook Pro3 votes
Can you try changing the extension to .pdf and then open it?
Please allow html to be created as clickable pdfs on a Mac. The documentation you provide says it can be done on Firefox but that is false. Wasted hours with your support folks before they said it can't be done.3 votes
HTML can be converted to PDF from Acrobat. You can create PDF by File > Create > PDF from web page and select the HTML file.
Refer this link for more details:

Problem: A PDF-file of 7600 pages. Selecting all even pages in Tools/Manage Pages. Then deleting all even pages except the first or last one. That takes on my iMac with newest DC version over 45 minutes. On a 10 years old PC with Acrobat version 5 it takes less then 3 minutes. That is 15 times faster! This bug needs to be fixed.3 votes
There is a major problem with OCR in Acrobat Pro CD. I have recognized (OCR) text in many documents. They still contain a lot of recognition errors in the hidden text used for search. When I try to use the function/tool "Correct Recognized text" (translated from Norwegian), I get a message saying that there are no suspected errors. It is not possible to correct the remaining errors. This is just stupid, there is no 100% correct OCR program, there are lots of errors in the recognized text. There must be a way to fix the remaining errors, but your technical support tells me that it is not possible. Until this is fixed, I can not use the product.

When selecting text in Acrobat (for applying a comment or other markup), Acrobat selects whole words (unless you are being particularly careful). It would be good to have the option to turn this off so that we can easily select partial words, starting in the middle of one word and ending in the middle of another.3 votes
