  1. I can’t believe Adobe is calling this AI. It’s not. Glorified chatbot? Maybe. It answers questions fairly well. But it can’t actually DO anything. Example? Because my business has factories in 5 states. I must file state tax returns in each of them. I get a PDF containing the federal form and each state form. The file includes a table of contents that clearly marks the start of each form. I asked the AI to break it into five separate files. It couldn’t do it. Extracting multiple PDFs is something I do a lot. But an AI specifically created for…

  2. AI Insanity!

Provide a verifiable way to completely remove AI Assistant in Adobe Reader. I do not want an AI anything capturing any financial or other privacy related documents and processing them in the cloud, especially in Beta form. Most users will not read to the point of understanding the cloud aspect of this. This is a ridiculous and even dangerous function to offer, promote and even present to the general user.

  3. Just downloaded the latest trial version of reader. AI assistant respond to simple questions. It says working on it for past 5 minutes! Too complicated and too many popups for a reader. I uninstalled it and found a better alternative PDF reader for free. Stop making this program more complicated than what users need to read a simple document.

  5. Acrobat’s “Combine Files / Create PDF” tool does not support all file formats.

    Specifically:

.msg (Outlook email files) are only supported when Outlook is installed and configured, and even then, they are not recognized when browsing a folder in bulk.

.ica (meeting / calendar-related files) are not a supported input format for Acrobat conversion.

  6. Bug: Microsoft Word Picture DISTORTED
    OS: Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11980HK @ 2.60GHz (3.30 GHz)

In Microsoft Word, I added a picture and “picture format” appeared.
Then in "Picture Styles, I selected “Drop Shadow Rectangle" (the fourth option). Everything looks perfect.

Then, I created the pdf. Unfortunately, the style that Word created on the right side of the picture is distorted.

This error began on June 5th.

Before that date, the picture was fine as usual. Now it is not.

    1. Word document - fine
    2. PDF SHOWS STRANGE MARKS ON THE RIGHT AND BOTTOM of picture.
    3. PDF with "X" showing…

  9. When opening PDFs from Outlook, Acrobat saves to the temporary attachment path. When I use “Save As,” I have to browse to my mapped drive every time.

Disabling cloud storage didn’t help—it just defaults to the Outlook temp folder instead.

It would be extremely useful to have a default save location (like Word/Excel) or a quick “Save to default folder” option, especially for users handling a high volume of PDFs.

  10. Acrobat produces /OC[0.858826 0.203918 0.145096] when a new redaction annotation is created. This appears to be an erroneous copy of the /C entry from the same annotation. Per Table 166 of the ISO standard, /OC is supposed to be a dictionary not an array. So it's not even well-formed, much less correct.

The /QuadPoints [] also looks dubious. It should be absent, not empty?

In terms of efficiency, a number of other entries are present which have no effect since other entries over-ride them. For example the /DA when /OverlayText is the empty string. And in fact the OverlayText itself.…

  12. Would it be possible to add support for creating and managing folders within the Pic-Time plugin for Lightroom in Acrobat? This feature would make it much easier to organize galleries, projects, and client work directly from within the plugin, especially for users who handle a large number of photos and albums.

Having the ability to create folders, move galleries between folders, and maintain a clear folder structure without leaving Lightroom would help streamline workflows and improve overall organization. It would also reduce the need to switch between different applications or the Pic-Time web interface when managing projects. This enhancement could…

  13. This is a bug. I can't capture a screenshot of it as it is with the cursor, but the orientation of my cursor is sideways on the screen. Additionally, when I try to make a form fillable and copy and paste the fields from an existing form, it generates all of the fields 90 degrees from where they are supposed to generate.

One screenshot shows what it does when I try to highlight text. The other is what happens when I copy and paste fields into a new document.

  14. Tabs keep changing size and moving about when clicking on them, and it's really easy to accidentally close the tab by mistake - how do you get rid of this feature, as there's nothing under 'Preferences' - ie 'Settings' - about this, unless it comes under some jargon we don't understand. Also, if you move tabs about in a window, they tend to 'jump out' into new windows, which is ******* annoying. If you don't know what 'tabs' are, they're the rectangles at the top of the window, which you click on to move from one document to another. Tabs…

  15. I am Acrobat Pro subscriber under business.

When using the "Request E-signatures" feature, the recipient field automatically caches previously entered email addresses and suggests them in a dropdown list. If a user makes a typo (e.g., entering darlyneo@... instead of darylneo@...), or if a contact's email address changes, that incorrect/old email becomes permanently stuck in the auto-complete cache. There is currently no UI option or keyboard shortcut to delete these bad entries.

This impact users as they would frequently select the typo from the dropdown without realizing it, meaning the intended recipient never actually receives the document.

    Please…

  17. When I try to digitally sign a PDF in Adobe Acrobat for Windows using a self-created Acrobat Digital ID stored as a PFX file, I get the following error message:

“Creation of this signature could not be completed.”

This happens when I start the digital signature process and Acrobat loads the Digital ID / certificate selection window.

The confusing part is that the signature can still be created. The Digital ID list loads, I can continue signing, the PDF is saved, and when I reopen the PDF Acrobat says:

“Signed and all signatures are valid.”

    The error usually appears only…

  19. I have two bugs to report:

    1) When I make a comment, I am forced to click the "post" button or delete the comment before I can do anything else on the page. Prior versions of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC saved comments automatically. This "force post" bug is creating a serious loss of efficiency and must be fixed!!

    2) When I looked up the version of Adobe I'm running in order to provide details for this bug report, I am unable to highlight the version number in the "About Adobe" window, and the window disappears when I click away so…

  20. All of our PDFs need to be accessible to people with disabilities. For each PDF we need to generate a report in Acrobat that proves that the document is accessible. One area that isn't working well is the reading order.

Currently Acrobat's reading order means a computer reading order. We need a disability reading order. Acrobat's reading order is generated by the reverse of the layers panel in the source program where the document is designed. If we want to check the disability reading order we have to go to the tags panel and click on ever single line.

    Can…
