1. AI Removal

   I think we can all agree that your AI pop-up is the most annoying and useless "feature" on Adobe. As you can see, several cases have been opened against it, and ALL the cases have been upvoted. How much longer til y'all actually get rid of it? Since we're talking about annoying pop-ups, can you also find a way to disable the pop up when I copy text? I just need to copy some quick data into another spreadsheet and every time I select the text I have your stupid pop-up to Generate an Image, Simplify, Define, or Ask your Useless AI. Get rid of it. This could easily be mitigated to basic text functions like highlight or strike text. Your little "helpful" tools are a nuisance. I can simplify on my own, if I need a dictionary I'll google it, and we've already gone over your ineffectual AI Assistant. I have to click off my highlighted text to get rid of this worthless pop up and I need to see the text underneath what I'm copying. This pop-up blocks 25% of a page, get rid of it. 5. Bug: Font color changes to black when creating PDF from MS Word file

   Using latest MS Word and latest Acrobat DC on latest MS Windows.
   Creating PDF from docx file, turned off all accessibility features in Word and Acrobat. Settings maximised for best quality.
   Since last week, the export is rendering some fonts as Black in the PDF, whereas in Word they are Navy blue, or white with navy background.
   Rebooted, installed updates, tried other colour combinations, checked all Word and Adobe settings for accessibility. I have opened the PDF in other viewers and the problem persists. Images are all fine, it's just the font colour which changed.
   This was working ok one week ago - I have not changed the colors since. See screenshots.
   Same behaviour whether using the 'Create' function in Adobe DC or using Export to PDF from Word.

6. My idea is a CLEAR way to disable the AI assistant feature.

   How can we turn off these unwanted AI assistants? I asked it, and of course it was incorrect. Told me to go to settings, which I did not find in any clear way in the Adobe reader program. Intrusive and unwanted constantly popping up to 'help'.

9. Acrobat Output Preview panel behavior change: Simulation Profile changed appearance, now values

   If I change the Simulation Preview profile in the Output Preview panel, it used to be that I would see my color simulated as if it printed/displayed in the other environment. Now, however, it's actually changing the color values to keep the same appearance. This is a bad idea. We need a way to turn this off or at least toggle it.

   I'm currently seeing this behavior in the 2024 version. I'm not sure with which version this changed.
   (Architecture: x86_64
   Processor: Intel
   Build: 24.4.20219.0
   AGM: 7.1.8)

   When you open a PDF, the Output Preview panel defaults to your working color profile, either set in the Acrobat preferences or synchronized through Bridge. Unless of course, the PDF/X file had a specified Output Intent, where it will default to that Simulation Profile. The ink values in the Separations are consistent with the exported file.

   I know I'm not imagining things, but it used to be when you changed to a different Simulation Profile, the view of that color breakdown would change, showing how that ink formula would appear in that other printing condition. All the numbers stayed the same, but their chromatic appearance on screen shifted to simulate the other condition. This is what (we assumed) this function was for.

   Now it's behaving differently: now if you switch to a different Simulation Profile, the values of the inks change. The appearance stays the same, but all the ink numbers move. This is consistent with a conversion.

   A similar behavior would be in InDesign, or Photoshop, with the difference between Assigning a color profile, or Converting to that same profile. One changes the appearance of those values, the other changes the values to preserve the appearance.

   This new behavior is causing issues for us.

   If I have a file I know is destined for a Fogra press, but was not output with an Output Intent specified, when I open it on my system, where my default CMYK profile is GRACoL 2013, that's the profile the Output Preview panel will display. When I change the Simulation Profile to Fogra 47, I get different CMYK values in the art. But I need to see the original values — in that other profile.

   This is not how this panel is supposed to work — not how it's labeled, not how it used to work in the past. I am not converting the color — my printer is not converting the color. (Most of them will not accept a color-managed PDF.) They are plating the ink values I've given them. Is that not the purpose of the Simulation Profile, in the Output Preview panel?

   Or someone tell me my memory is wrong, and this is some kind of Mandala effect, and this was always the behavior.

   Is there some application preference or setting to revert to the previous behavior?

   (I do not currently have an installation with an older version — 2021, 22 — to show screen shots of the different behavior.)

    In der aktuellen 64-Bit-Version von Acrobat ist die Mindestbreite des Programmfensters sehr gross. Dadurch kann ich nicht mehr als zwei PDFs nebeneinander sinnvoll anzeigen. Für Arbeitsabläufe mit 3–4 Dokumenten parallel ist das eine klare Einschränkung der Arbeitsfläche.

    Vorschlag (Feature-Request)
    Bitte führt einen «Kompaktmodus» bzw. eine Option zur Reduktion der Mindestbreite ein. Idealerweise als Voreinstellung (z. B. «Fensterbreite kompakt») oder via Umschalter, der die linken/rechten Paneele schlanker macht bzw. komplett ausblendet.

    Nutzen
    • Effizienterer Vergleich mehrerer Dokumente.
    • Bessere Nutzung von grossen/Ultra-Wide-Displays.
    • Schont Workflows, die bis anhin mit 3–4 PDFs nebeneinander gearbeitet haben.

    Seitenleisten einklappen, mehrere Fenster statt Tabs, Zoom-Einstellungen, neue/alte Ansicht → keiner erlaubt eine wirklich schmale Fensterbreite.

    In the current 64-bit version of Acrobat, the minimum window width is very large. This makes it impossible to place more than two PDFs side by side on one screen. For workflows that require 3–4 documents in parallel, this is a significant limitation.

    Please add a “Compact mode” or an option to reduce the minimum window width. Ideally as a preference (e.g., “Compact window width”) or a toggle that slims or fully hides the left/right panels.

    Please pay attention to those of who are asking to have the AI feature stop intruding into our work. Actions (in this case inaction) speak louder than words, and you are telling me very clearly to stop using adobe, because you insist on imposing "AI" on me at every step. 15. Stop the annoying AI Popups

    In my line of work, I look at a lot of technical drawings in PDF form. The incessant popups suggesting I summarize my pdf of a drawing are so annoying. In fact, I don't ever want to use AI on my work as it is against company policy. I sometimes regret downloading this program, and I will be looking for an alternative soon.
