Update Adobe Sign Restarting Agreements help article
Please update the Adobe Acrobat Sign help article on restarting agreements to clarify that agreements created using a web form revert to their original state when restarted.
This is a significant limitation that users need to be aware of before restarting an agreement. Please update the documentation to clearly explain this behavior and its potential impact so users can make an informed decision before proceeding.

Acrobat Pro 26.002.21901 fails to launch on macOS Ventura — libthorvg.dylib
Following the September 8, 2026 Acrobat update, Acrobat Pro stopped launching on macOS Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68).
The application silently terminates immediately after launch, without displaying an error dialog or generating a conventional crash report.
Using Terminal and macOS unified logging, I identified a dynamic-library loading failure involving libthorvg.dylib. The log indicates that this library was built for macOS 15.0, which is newer than the running operating system, followed by a missing C++ symbol error.
I have already attempted a normal uninstall, Adobe Cleaner Tool, restart, and fresh installation. None resolved the problem.
Since Adobe lists macOS 13 as supported, this…

Confirmation Prompt for Auto-Tag Document and Right-Click Menu Improvements
Hi Team,
The Auto-Tag Document feature is highly valuable during the initial tagging phase, as it can generate a complete document structure in less than a minute.
However, our team primarily performs manual accessibility tagging to remediate PDF law reports. We manually tag more than 3,000 documents each month under tight SLAs. During this process, users frequently create page sections by right-clicking and selecting New Tag—often hundreds of times within a single document.
Issue
Because Auto-Tag Document appears close to New Tag in the right-click menu, users can accidentally select it while performing repetitive manual tagging work. When this occurs:

Lag from text autocomplete
The lag associated with the text autocomplete function when editing a PDF is making this program completely nonfunctional. Lag time of 10 to 30 seconds for each form field and will often crash the program.
Turning the autocomplete function off in the preferences and clearing the cache of stored credentials have had no effect. The suggestions keep appearing anyway.1 vote -
log in screen becomes non-responsive
If opening a PDF with reader closed, the user-log in screen freezes, requiring a forced closure of the app from program manager.
There appears to be no way to stop the log-on screen from popping up on each application start. On a normal program start, the log-on screen pops up 3x times before I can close it.

Hide "Check for Updates" in Acrobat
The "Check for Updates" option in "Menu">"Help" is a feature that can only be used, if you have admin privileges on your machine.
In an enterprise environment usually, users do not have admin privileges and therefore this feature cannot be used in a company environment.
It is possible to disable the complete Update-feature, then the "Check for updates"-feature is not shown anymore, but the auto-Update on Acrobat is then also disabled. Please add an option or registry key, so that this feature can get hidden for the user interface, without disabling the complete update feature. In case the updates get…

hand tool not hiding behind arrow tool
The same suggestion for new Acrobat View Desktop app and the browser "shared-PDF" view:
The hand tool is hidden behind the arrow tool. it needs an additional click/hover just to access it. while the menu bar for these tools is very small and compact. it makes no sense, that the hand tool is hidden behind the arrow when so little of the screen is used.1 vote -
Bug Report: Mixed Page-Size (Letter/Tabloid) PDFs Fail to Print via PostScript — Regression in Recent Acrobat/Reader Update
Summary
PDF documents containing mixed page sizes (8.5x11 and 11x17) fail to print correctly after a recent Acrobat/Reader update. Pages sized 11x17 fail with a PostScript interpreter error on the print device; the same 11x17 content prints successfully when extracted into its own single-size PDF. Rolling back Acrobat/Reader to a prior version on the affected server fully resolved the issue with no further errors.
Environment
Product: Adobe Acrobat / Acrobat Reader (please confirm exact product — Pro/Reader/DC — via Help > About)
Affected version: Believed to be 26.001.21771 (planned update dated Aug 1, 2026) — please confirm via Help >…2 votes -
I CAN'T GET THIS TERRIBLE PROGRAM TO OCR A PDF. WHY DO I PAY FOR PRO?
I have been trying for ten minutes to run a simple ocr feature (that I pay for) on this terrible program and nothing works. I have tried in the desktop (and nothing happens when I click on "Scan & OCR", other than to change the tab to Convert. I have tried with the online version, and nothing happens. And your stupid 'provide email and password' below is broken. Does anything you do work?

Remove internal ads from paid version of Acrobat
Can we please have a debloated home screen in Adobe Acrobat?
Looking at the current layout, half the screen is wasted on stuff I’ll never use:
• Curated project ads like “Unlock your sales potential with TED” — this isn’t why I opened Acrobat.
• AI features pushing “summarize your notes” when all I want is to view and edit PDFs.
• Meeting transcription integration — how is this even related to a PDF tool? And the strangest part: if I’m running Acrobat DC (formerly Acrobat Pro, Acrobat X, etc.), that already means I’m a paying customer. Why is the…

Remove Sign In Options
Provide the ability to remove, rearrange, or hide Adobe Sign In Options. We use Microsoft SSO which our users need to click the “More sign-in options” to get to. This causes confusion and downtime.

Safest Way to convert PST to EML
The safest approach is to keep a backup of the original PST and use a reliable converter. A dedicated PST Converter lets you preview mailbox data before conversion and supports PST to EML conversion. Review the required emails, select EML as the output format, and start the process. Afterward, verify the converted emails and attachments before relying on the files. Keeping the original PST unchanged provides an additional reference during verification and archiving.

Long-Standing Bug: "Rely on System Fonts Only" Resets After Every Major Update
I am writing to formally report a bug that has persisted across multiple versions of Adobe Acrobat and affects virtually every professional user in business environments.
The Problem
After every major Acrobat update, the "Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts" setting in the Adobe PDF printer resets to checked, causing print-to-PDF jobs to fail and generate error log files instead of PDF output. The only resolution is to manually uncheck the setting after each update, either through Printing Preferences or Printer Defaults.
This has been documented in Adobe community forums dating back well over four years,…2 votes -
Administrative Control to Disable the "Disable New Acrobat" Option
Many organizations standardize on the new Acrobat experience for supportability, training, documentation, and user consistency. While administrators can deploy the new Acrobat interface, end users are still able to select "Disable New Acrobat" from the menu and revert to the classic interface.
This creates several challenges:
- Increased support calls due to users working in different interfaces.
- Inconsistent user experience across the organization.
- Training documentation and internal procedures no longer match what users see.
- Additional administrative overhead when troubleshooting issues.Requested Enhancement
Please provide administrators with a policy or enterprise setting that allows them to:

Latency and sluggish performance
I am currently on 2026.002.21996 64bit.
A few updates ago Acrobat Pro has become extremely sluggish. Switching between tabs takes a few seconds to render, clicking to change tools or menus takes longer now, ect... Overall the experience has been declining slowly ever since the new interface was implemented.

Add a built-in resource links panel for PDF annotation references
It would be great to have a small panel in the toolbar with quick-access links to helpful external resources (style guides, document templates, reference sites) so users don't have to leave Acrobat to find them. For example, I often bookmark reference pages like milfshookup.org/white-milfs/ (https://milfshookup.org/white-milfs/) and it would be convenient to pin these directly in the app for faster access while editing documents.

Can I recover corrupted SQL database?
Yes, a corrupted SQL database can often be recovered if the underlying MDF or NDF files remain accessible. Start by creating a backup copy, then scan the damaged files and preview recoverable records and database objects. Verify the recovered content before saving it to a healthy SQL Server database.

Missing "Delete Text" in comments edits.
This appears to be a bug or regression in Acrobat’s commenting tools.
Previously, under Comments, there were separate options to Replace Text, Insert Text, and Delete Text. The dedicated Delete Text option has now been removed.
The current Select and Delete Text tool is not an equivalent replacement. It does not allow you to select/highlight text first and then mark that selection for deletion. Instead, the deletion must be initiated through the tool itself, which makes editing significantly less efficient.
More importantly, this affects the Acrobat-to-InDesign workflow. Properly marked text edits can be imported into InDesign through Import PDF Comments,…
