1. A serious problem occured while Combining Files into a Single Single PDF

   One of my clinets had a very serious problem when combining files into a single PDF before optimizing the file to build a press-ready PDF.

   As you will see in the attached screenshots, while they were combining 256 pages of a book into a single PDF, the continuous tone image of page 239 appeared on both page 238 and 239. While the speech balloons are on their correct pages, the image on page 239 appeared on page 239 as well as page 238. The image on page 238 has been mysteriously replaced by the image on page 239. As this was a book with more than 1000 pages this error has slipped through all eyes. They could have only seen this error if they had printed an inspection copy from the multi page PDF and visually checked each page with the single page PDFs. My client has been doing this for many years and processed similar books successfully. They had no indication that such a disaster was coming.

   The book is printed and distributed. And now angry readers are coming back to the publisher for an explanation. Why has this happened? Is there a way to check the integrity of a multi-page PDF after combining it from single pages?

   This is a serious problem that can put an end to the relationship between the publisher and the printer.

   What can be done to prevent a similar problem happening again?

2. Text entry (GER: Texteingabe) buggy [Reader]

   Bug: when adding text (Function [A]) in Reader 2024.002.20759, sometimes
   - the text becomes non-editable. Becomes editable again, if you add a new text field on the same page.
   - the text appears on random different pages
   - the text disappears.
   I started to use Reader again, because the added text is searchable, compared to a competitors free tool.
   But these bugs are really annoying.

   Another bug: sometimes the original text is not readable or completely disappears. If you mark / select it, it appears again.

   When adding new functions, pls make sure, the ones that work since 20 years, don't get mixed up. If you need a good QA manager, pls let me know :-)

3. text boxes not automatically adjusting

   I've noticed that when you send out a document to be filled and signed the text boxes do not enter onto a new line when the text reaches the end of the box but instead continues on the same line, off the page, so that you cannot read what everything that has been typed. This is a serious issue and, I would imagine, should be a fairly simple fix. Very irritating and potentially hindering to business.

4. No floating bars in Read Mode, please!!!

   Whenever I move a mouse while in Read Mode, a floating navigation bar gets displayed near the bottom of the page obstructing the text. There is no way to get rid of it. Yes, clicking the last icon in that bar makes it disappear, but it also causes leaving the Read Mode and displaying huge useless side bars.

5. Login to Multiple Devices using a single Adobe ID

   Please can you give us the option to login to multiple devices using a single Adobe ID.
   Currently our existing adobe ID can only login to two devices simultaneously, we have several users that requires to sign-in with more than two devices.

6. legacy menu

   Legacy Menu reversion would be nice, there is too much change in the software now and for those of us that have been with Acrobat since the beginning, it is almost like learning a brand new program with the way it's being presented.
   Would be nice to have a choice of layout version.
   Also, having the software auto update without knowing the scope of what is being done, is not kosher. I wouldn't have updated the software to this version if I had known that this was being done. Just sayin.

7. The new look is a nightmare

   The toolbar on the right is a horror show! I need full screen width. I want the old version or at least the option to set it up however I feel comfortable. Not forcing this nightmare.

8. cropping spreads

   Long overdue: a quick click on a "page" that is actually a spread of two pages (two 8.5"x11" pages stuck together) where this click would crop the page in half, saving both sides as 8.5x11 pages in the correct order.

9. Google Chrome Customer Service

   By default, the Chrome extension will open a new call screen so you can change your outgoing caller ID. It does not, however, instantly begin contacting the number. Go to Chrome Settings to enable automatic calling. Now, when you click on a number, click-to-call will initiate a call automatically.

10. Programm ist langsam und hängt sich die dauernd auf

    Das Programm ist sehr langsam. Hängt sich andauernd auf. PDFs aus Mails zu öffnen dauert teils Minuten (andere Programme machen das in Sek.) Fehlermeldung siehe Anhang.

11. STOP WITH ALL THE UNECESSARY CHANGES!!

    For hecks sake... what bright spark decided to change to everything on the user screen in Acrobat . Talk about pulling up a workflow with this sort of change! Do you realise what this does to entire organisations. I should be billing you for lost productivity due to this rubbish.

    There are things everywhere. Left Right, a fixed panel on the left I can't seem to get rid of and all this right in the middle of a major multi million dollar event planning and roll out.

    At least when you bought software outright you knew when you sat down each morning things would just work. Now from one day to the next with all these ridiculous and continuous updates thrust upon us you are making all your users lives more difficult.

    Why not simply launch updates - that are actually thoroughly tested before posting - every 6 months. I'm not paid to do your testing. Stop being lazy and expecting your customers to highlight where all the issues are. Why not have a Beta testing subscription to people who use and have time to muck about with this stuff, whereby you reduce their monthly subscriptions to half in exchange for the knowledge and proofing of your software.

12. This is the worst PDF application I eve used

    I'm using Hebrew right-to-left regulary.
    I'm trying now to edit an English form with English letters, and it is so difficult. The Section's number jumps from left to right, It is so difficult to allign it. So I had to type it all again in word. THE WORST PDF APPLICATION EVER BEEN USED BY ME

14. New minimum window height hinders work flow

    I need the Adobe Reader window to be fully adjustable to fit around my various open programs. The latest update forces a minimum height, and the toolbars are not moveable.

16. Problemas na escrita de mão livre, lentidão no Ryzen 5 5600 e Aviso excessivo do Inteligent Work

    Estou tendo vários problemas com o adobe Acrobat.

    1) Como escrevo em Japonês, a ferramenta por causa da escrita em mão livre ela acaba corrigindo sozinha, fica muito ruim para usar cadernos em PDF para fazer a escrita em japonês com a ferramenta "Desenhar a mão livre" qualquer traço simples ela fica corrigindo e tornando as minhas letras tortas, coisa que nem o adobe fresco faz.

    2) Sinto que o Adobe Acrobat DC ele tem muita lentidão e as vezes diversos travamentos no meu computador que tem Windows 11, um AMD Ryzen 5 5600 e 24GB de RAM e mesmo assim ele trava.

    3) Esse aviso do Intelligent Work toda vez que abro a janela do Adobe Acrobat é irritante e atrapalha demais para fazer a edição.

    Utilizo para a escrita a mesa digitalizadora WACOM CTL-472 no windows 11.

    Estou tendo vários problemas com o adobe Acrobat.

17. I clicked "reduce file size" and the file got bigger.

    I went to File --> Reduce File Size and the file size went from 12,156kb to 12,201kb. I hate Adobe.

18. Side panels on new version really don't work well

    The switch of the panels n the new version are very difficult to use and counter to the direction in which one reads. It is much more intuitive and natural to read (and click) tabbed sections of a document on the left then continue reading to the document. This was a silly and unproductive change. We should at least be able to change the sides of the panels.

20. Fonctionnement Adobe Acrobat Export PDF

    Bonjour, depuis la dernière évolution de votre application mon abonnement à Adobe Acrobat Export PDF dysfonctionne ...surtout pour la transformation de fichiers PDF en Word ou Excell ...soit c'est un bug merci de le corriger ; soit c'est une volonté d'Acrobat de ne plus assurer ce service qui jusqu'à present me satisfaisait pour que je sois contraint de changer d'abonnement vers une version plus couteuse ?
