Acrobat Pro DC crashes daily and require repair installation
Version 2020.006.20042
I have to run "Repair Installation" every day in order to use the software. It starts off clean and fast, opening files, displaying, editing, etc. Then, when I try to close even a 1-pg document, it may take a minute to close the doc. About 25% of the time, attempting to close a document greys out the entire window (title bar indicates "Not Responding"), and eventually a window pops up giving me the choice to a) Close the program; b) Wait for the program to respond (see attached).1 vote -

Acrobat does not remember the correct last-viewed pages for PDFs at startup
Windows 10 64-bit, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2020.013.20064 (and Acrobat Pro DC 2019; same bug)
With multiple documents open in tabs, and the settings to ‘Restore last view’ and ‘Open PDFs from last session’, Acrobat is supposed to open the session exactly as it was closed, with the right last page for every document. Instead, on launch the pages for most documents are incorrect and only one document displays the correct page.
It saves this setting in HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\RememberedViews\cNoCategoryFiles which has subkeys for every document, ranging from c1 to cN and their subkey cViewDef\ includes the important value ipageViewPageNum, also values such as ipageViewMaxVisPageNum and ipageViewMinVisPageNum.
Expected result:
The values should be set correctly and independently of other documents present in HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\RememberedViews\cNoCategoryFiles
Observed result:
When closing Acrobat, the values ipageViewMaxVisPageNum and ipageViewMinVisPageNum are set to the correct page, but the value ipageViewPageNum is set wrong, which makes the wrong page display at startup. In fact, that value in question is set arbitrarily to the last actual document you chose to work with. Meaning, if you have 4 documents open, and read the first document only, all 4 will open up to the page of the first document, and each ipageViewPageNum will be identical copies of the value corresponding to that first document.

Insert text comment
Can you please include the Insert Text Comment feature in the shared review? This feature is available in Acrobat Reader and in the not-shared COMMENT review toolbar. As a basic comment tool, I am quite surprised (and very frustrated) that this is not available for collaborative commenting.
Specifically referring to "Insert Text" as described here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/mark-text-edits.html#insert_text

file size
Hello! I work in the wine industry and we often have to submit files that are under 500kb or 750kb for government records. I use the "reduce file size" option but it takes a lot of guesswork. It would be amazing if there was an option to make the PDF smaller than ____ kb/mb. I know so many in my industry would be grateful. Thank you!!

Case # ADB-17311074-R0M2
Using the chat feature, I was informed that the customer service representative would need to remotely access my computer to fix my issue. He told me I would have to agree to remote connection as well as to have my screen recorded for quality assurance purposes. I informed him that I did not want my screen recorded, to which he told me that was not something that Adobe could support.
When I opened the remote sharing filed, the user agreement clearly states "We record sessions for quality assurance and training purposes. You may choose to not have your session recorded if you prefer."
Going back to the customer service representative, I told him again that I did not want my screen recorded, and copied the user agreement which stated that it was my option not to have my screen recorded while he accessed my computer.
He then proceeded to tell me just to minimize all my files, to which I again stated I didn't want my screen recorded. To this, he stated he would not be able to help me without me agreeing to it.
Transcripts of this chat are attached. Would like a response as to why user options laid out in the user agreement are not able to be met by Adobe customer service representatives.

Acrobat DC crash — Output Preview
I have been dealing with this on a daily basis... several times a day. When viewing/editing PDFs from within Acrobat, with the Output Preview window open (either on the same screen or split) — Acrobat will crash every time that I forget to close the Preview window before viewing a different PDF (although I am doing the same task in both PDFs). I think it's slightly ridiculous to have to close the window every time.
Currently I have more than 200 single PDFs to edit (converting one spot color to another) and it is taking forever because Acrobat decides to quit about every 3rd or 4th document.
Why has this glitch not been fixed?

Unable to save PDF
Adobe Acrobat updated overnight.
Now while trying to save individual sections of a textbook (I organize and then extract the selected pages) the "Save As PDF" pop-up window is just blank.
Adobe does not freeze... I can cancel out of the pop-up window and still read my extracted pages. However I am not able to move past the blank "Save As PDF" window so I can't save individual chapters :(

Reverse order of selected pages
There are times when you accidentally scan a stack of documents in reverse order, or when exporting a pdf from Photoshop it exports the layers in a way you didn't expect. Instead of limiting the user to drag and drop to re-order pages, there should also be an option to reverse order of selected pages. Thanks.

pdf download direct from the internet into Acrobat to convert to Word
Instead of downloading a pdf from the internet and puting it into a file or folder, or other storage device, and then sending that pdf to Acrobat to convert into Word, could there be a file in Acrobat called "downloads" so i could save the step of downloading the pdf elsewhere and then into Acrobat and just download the pdf directly into Acrobat?

Increase Outlook Plug-in PDFMaker Maximum Message Limit
I recieve the error when using the PDFMaker Plug-in to create a PDF in excess of 7,000 Outlook messages:
"You have chosen to convert a very large number of email messages. Please try again with a folder or selection having fewer messages."
I would like the limit to be raised to in excess of 10 or 15 thousand.
