Compression settings are false / in reverse
Hey guys, you have a huge error in this PDF compression platform.
As far as I can tell, the option LOW actually provides the SMALLEST file size, despite saying the exact opposite right beneath it.
And vice versa.
“High compression” gives me a 4 MB file, whereas “Low compression” gives me a 1 MB file.
Mind blown!! Please fix.2 votes -

Best Paper for Printing & Scanning PDFs?
I often work with scanned documents and PDFs that need to be printed on specialty papers. Recently, I was looking into parchment paper for printing high-quality PDFs, especially for certificates and archival documents. However, I’m not sure if it affects readability or ink absorption when scanned back into Acrobat.
Has anyone tried using parchment paper for printing PDF documents? I found some interesting insights on parchment paper uses https://www.parchmentpaper.co.uk/parchment-paper-uses/, but I’d love to hear experiences from this community regarding print clarity and scanning accuracy.
Looking forward to your thoughts!

Best Way to Create Secure Packaging PDFs for E-commerce?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on designing packaging for an e-commerce business and often need to generate PDFs for custom box designs, particularly rigid boxes. I use Acrobat for sharing proofs with clients, but I sometimes struggle with maintaining color accuracy and file sizes.
For those who frequently work with packaging PDFs, what settings or best practices do you recommend for preserving high-quality details while keeping the file size manageable? Also, does Acrobat have any tools to ensure dieline layers remain intact?
Here’s an example of the type of rigid boxes I work with: https://www.packagingnyc.com/shop/rigid-boxes/
Looking forward to your insights!

Best Way to Organize Custom Packaging PDFs in Acrobat?
I often work with custom packaging designs and receive a lot of PDF dielines and artwork files from different vendors. Managing and reviewing these files efficiently in Acrobat can sometimes be a challenge, especially when dealing with multiple revisions.
Does anyone have tips on how to streamline this process? I’ve been organizing them in folders, but I wonder if there are better ways within Acrobat itself—like tagging, commenting, or any other features I might be missing.
For context, I usually work with custom packaging like these https://www.stickernyc.com/product/custom-boxes/ and need to keep track of various design versions. Any advice would be…

Best Way to Preserve Printed Wax Paper Quality in PDFs?
I’ve been working with some custom wax paper designs for food packaging, and I often need to convert these designs into PDFs before finalizing the print. However, I’ve noticed that certain textures and details don’t always come out as expected when viewed on different screens. Does anyone have tips on the best PDF settings to maintain print quality, especially for semi-transparent materials?
For reference, here’s an example of the type of wax paper I’m working with: https://www.customdelipaper.net/wax-paper/
Would love to hear any insights from those who deal with packaging and print materials in PDFs!

Create a product that doesn't break every time I blink or click a button.
Your product is BROKEN. I want a refund. None of the "Remove background" functionalities work at all. The app freezes every time I even look at it. I sneeze, it freezes, I blink, FROZEN. What's going on over there, Adobe? Ya'll ok? Do I need to just use Figma for now on? They definitely have it together, and I'm confused why you don't?

Eco-Friendly Ice Cream Cone Packaging – Your Thoughts?
I’ve been looking into sustainable packaging solutions for ice cream cones and wanted to get some insights from this community. Many businesses are switching from plastic to paper-based options, and I recently came across an ice cream cone with a paper sleeve https://www.conesleeve.com/ice-cream-cone-with-paper/ that helps keep cones mess-free while being eco-friendly.
The site I found specializes in custom-printed cone sleeves, offering different materials and coatings for better grip and durability. I’m curious, has anyone here worked with paper-based cone holders? Do they hold up well against moisture, or do you think other alternatives work better?
Would love to hear your…

Best Paper for Printing Custom Designs & Documents
Hey everyone, I’ve been experimenting with different paper types for printing custom designs, and I’ve noticed that the paper choice makes a huge difference in the final look and feel. Lately, I’ve been looking into Kraft paper because it has a natural, textured look that works great for menus, invitations, and packaging.
I found this guide on Kraft paper printing www.customkraftpaper.com/kraft-paper-printing/ that explains different printing techniques and how to get the best results. Thought it might be useful for anyone working with printed materials!
Has anyone here tried printing on Kraft paper? Any tips for getting sharp, high-quality prints?

Best Way to Package and Ship Clothing?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been looking into better ways to package and ship clothing, especially delicate or high-end apparel. While poly mailers are lightweight, they don’t offer much protection, and standard shipping boxes can be too bulky.
I recently found custom apparel boxes www.custommailerboxes.com/apparel-boxes/, which seem like a great alternative. These boxes are designed specifically for clothing, offering a snug fit that prevents wrinkles and keeps items secure. Plus, they can be customized with branding, making them perfect for businesses that want to enhance their packaging presentation.
For those who ship clothing regularly, what packaging methods have worked best for…

Would like a human
Have a human available. I've been trying to see if an email i rec'd was a scam or not and your virtual assistant didn't have a clue how to help answer this. a human would not have cost me 15 minutes in my day. awful service. SO if you intend to charge me $325 today, don't. I didn't authorize it and I think it's a scam (this came via email) but I can't confirm since you don't offer a human.
