  1. The Create Adobe PDF from selected Outlook messages in Adobe Acrobat DC is a wonderful tool and I use it every 10 minuts. Before getting this tool I and my colleagues just dragged each message to a folder and created by that an Outlook.msg file for each message.

To have these old msg files moved into the new PDF file I have to copy the msg files back into Outlook and then create or append the messages to the PDF.

It would be helpful if the outlook.msg record could be appended to the PDF by drag and drop to the…

  2. Highlighting is the main reason why I use pdfs. The main method that I use is selecting the text through hold left click and drag followed by right click and highlight. Usually the page is zoomed so that I can read the text. In a two-column journal, it is often the case that I want to highlight text from one column [bottom] to the other [top] but because the page is zoomed in, the page has to autoscroll back to the top - the speed which this happens is very slow.

    Solution:
Please consider enabling selected text [hold left click]…

  3. This product will not operate a printer. There needs to be a print option that works.

    Hi,

You can use this email address to send the PDF file: rite@adobe.com

Also If you could, please also attach the snapshots of printed documents with contains “codes at the top or bottom”.

Have you tried a different printer?

    Regards,
    Ritesh

  4. In Acrobat IX I could create a digital signature field where the user, when getting the form and entering their pertinent information, could simply click on the field to digitally sign the form using their certificates from the employee badge. Did this option disappear entirely now? I don't want customers to have to select window, preferences, signatures and draw a rectangle to sign the form. Allow users to set up a block so the customer just needs to click the field and select their stored credential to sign the form. This is a MUST have option.

  6. When a select a comment (annotation) in a pdf's page, his correspondance in the comment list is highlight and show in the bottom of the list.
Is there a way to change that (like all other Acrobat before!!). So when you select the comment his correspondance is show first in the comment list?
I don't know why that change in Acrobat DC, but it it makes my job really complicated....

Lorsque je sélecte un commentaire ou annotation dans une page d'une pdf, sa correspondance dans la liste de commentaires devient en couleur et se place en bas de la liste…

  7. In many recent builds of Windows 10 with the CC version of Acrobat DC, If a pdf file is opened used and closed, the folder containing the file cannot be deleted even after the pdf file itself has been deleted. The cuase for this is that an Adobe logging process "LogTransport2.exe" holds an open file handle on the containing folder, and the folder cannot be deleted until the LogTransport2 process has been killed. This is a bug and should be fixed immediately.

  8. In earlier versions of acrobat, right click on a page will bring up a dialog for inserting a number where one wants to move a page. For example, if I am on pag 78, and want this page to be at page [before/after] say 10, then I right click page 78, and select move and insert page number 10 in dialog box. This is very helpful when you have all pages that cannot be displayed on a screen. Drag and drop works well for a screenful of pages, and is very difficult scrolling vertically or horizontally through several pages. I…

  9. Hi,
The ability to flatten a pdf is basic and important. We have had an Adobe DC for 2 years now for our business with little in enhancement in feature. I an tired of having to search for a community java script to do a basic operation such as flatten a document. when our annual subscription expires in June 2018 we will be moving to Foxit for all our pdf requirement. Not only is it cheaper but it is full featured.

  10. 10 years ago I was able to link to external video sites like YouTube.com and have videos appear in Adobe documents with Acrobat. But for some reason the software has a bug now and when placing a url into the dialog box it says "No media file has been specified. Please select one and try again." Can you please fix this soon. This is very frustrating since it use to work fine 10 years ago. Thank you.

  11. Preprocess text scans by determining the fix width used for spaces recognizing that the gaps between words can be integral spaces. Use that information to bound the locations containing characters within a box which have no room for one or more space between them.

During later text scanning make the presumption that the box contains text only and no spaces so that "2012" is not scanned as two fields such as "20 " and "12 " or as "20 I " and "2". Recognition of space wideth can also be used to determine with greater accuracy when some blob is…

  12. Preprocces to recognize features of forms such as boxes with or without checks and the boxes around fields.

I scan image documents to be able to search for technical reviews or to export them to excel, access, or word. Current situation: On forms empty or full check boxes are frequently recognized as text and the text is wrong and takes a long time to correct. The same occurs with text near boundaries around form fields. If form type features such as check boxes and field boundaries can be recognized by a scanning algorithm very different from the small box scan…

  14. Adobe Sign should allow you to reassign multiple fields at once. As it is now, it automatically imports fields on a form assigned to "Anyone". In order to reassign the fields to a specific person or to "Prefill" before sending, you must go field by field and change each one. Being able to reassign en masse would be a huge time saver. Also, other options like marking fields as required en masse would help as well.

  17. I had a 42 page document that I needed to send out for initials & signatures. I carefully [for 30 minutes] prepared the document for sender + 2 signers, sent to be "prepared" and then clicked sign. It came back with me being the only signer in every place I had prepared. This despite checking and double checking the emails addresses were correct for signers 1 & 2. So I tried going in and editing the fields, which still did not resolve the problem. So I deleted the document and redid it...with the same result. I called support and spoke…

  18. After trying to search for names in a 2000+ page PDF document, I discovered that wildcard searches are only available at the folder level, not the document level. In this particular case, the names might or might not include a middle initial so a basic First*Last search is critical. This is old technology that needs to be brought back. We included wildcard searches of documents 35 years ago in software - but they seem to have vanished. It isn't difficult to write the code and test it - especially since Adobe already does it for collections of documents. It just…

  19. Compare Files shows a very nice, side-by-side, comparison with markups showing where the changes are at. I would like to print exactly what I'm seeing there (page content and markups) but when I try to print it wants to print a summary page as page 1, and/or, a very busy looking page with labels on the side pointing to changes within the page. I could print the screen, but that's not ideal.

Also, it would be nice to automatically compare pages by page label. For example, I have a 200 page document, and somebody provides me with an 8 page…

  20. Here's an idea...whenever trying to edit a picture and this ANNOYING message pops up:
"The object you selected uses transparency and might look different in your editing application. Furthermore, the appearance of the page may change in unexpected ways after this object is edited. Do you want to edit this object anyway?"

A NEW OPTION appears > DO NOT ASK AGAIN FOR EVER AND EVER THRU ETERNITY. THANKS
