6. We Need a Flip (Horizontally) and Stick Floating Toolbar

   Please give us a floating bar with flip and stick functionality. The request is two part:

   (1) THE FLIP: Please program a floating toolbar that cab be flipped horizontally. The vertical bar can be problematic on both small and large format screens. On small screens it may float over the text (where documents are maximized for readability) making documents less readable (I see this problem commonly in Adobe Discussion threads). My problem is that I use a large screen, and often review wide format documents (maps, plans, etc.) or I am using a two-page view. With my bigger screen, the little floating bar feels like it is a mile away from me, and putting it in the middle of the screen is out of the question because it would hover over my wide format documents. At the top of the document, a floating horizontal bar would be much more bearable.

   (2) THE STICK: Please make the floating toolbar sticky (i.e. allow it to stick to the top/side of the screen, which functionally turns off the float). This is a common feature in Illustrator and other products, which allow me to stick and unstick (returning to float function) various toolbars at my leisure. I use this feature heavily in Illustrator, so I know that y'all can do it!

   Please, please, please, etc., etc.

8. Adobe Acrobat Pro: Compare Files - improvement

   1. Unable to remove Summary page from first pages.

   2. Ability to delete both Summary page and Compare Results using Organize Pages.
      I can delete the Compare Results page using Organize Pages, but the Summary page is not visible in Organize pages, even though it still exists with the other pages.

   3. There is no need to share pages like Summary page and Compare Results with coworkers. These extra 2 pages extend the document unnecessarily. I'm not the only one looking for such a solution - I found the following posts in Adobe Community:

9. Unable to add text, lines, highlight, etc. to Plan Sheets on a Construction Project.

   I used to be able to add text, lines, highlight, etc. on Construction Plans when I used Adobe Pro before it became a subscription service. I lost it when I had to change my computer from Windows 7 to 11. I'm on a trial version. I already spent over one hour using the chat feature for your rep. to figure out that my problem was with Construction Plans. He was unable to connect to my computer to attempt to resolve this issue, and suggested I call back. I have a case ID. Apparently there is no customer service on Saturday. My trial runs out on Monday, 12-30-24. I doubt anyone will be available on Sunday. I'll have to see if someone can resolve this issue on Monday morning or I'll have to cancel subscription because I'm in the Construction business and I need to mark-up plan sheets all the time.

10. Scroll bar - Why is there no scroll bar?

    Please put a scroll bar on Acrobat like every other program has. Hiding the scroll bar unless I use the wheel on a mouse does not work because due to repetitive stress injury as a production artist I can not use the wheel on a mouse. Why can't we just have a normal scroll bar? There is no reason to remove a scroll bar. This is so difficult to work on multi page documents and having to use that wheel is painful. I can't imagine this is considered ADA "accessible" and what purpose does it serve to make it harder to use the program?

11. Give option to revert to classic page view

    Hate this new format. The sidebar icons are too small. The quick tools is not intuitive. Why was it necessary to move the pages and bookmarks to the right when we are accustomed to seeing them on the left. Really frustrated that I can't revert to classic layout or rearrange the tool bars to my preferences. I also don't like that I can't remove drawing and signing from the quick toolbars. I rarely use those features. Just a really poor update with no recourse for the user.

18. I really dont like the new Acrobat layout, its so hard to use

    The icons are way too small and are greyed out so not very legible
    also the most important icons are buried in the bottom right so drop off your screen completely - the most common thing u do when opening a pdf is to enlarge or shrink the size, its a right pain hunting the icons to do that, every time.

20. The 2024 Acrobat interaction design is EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING

    Why did you move everything around and make it infinitely more complicated to do the basic editing tasks I use the most - like copying and pasting pages between pdfs or within a pdf. Everything basics seems harder.
