1. Option to print multiple tabbed documents as a single print job

   Customer should be able to print multiple tabbed documents as a single print job ie: combine all the open tabbed documents into a single print job.

   Sometimes, customer need to print financial reports about once a month for two accounts so that's a Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss report for each account - 4 documents. Now user can manually merge them into a single PDF, but that's not how user want to store them. It would be awesome that instead of user printing 3 copies of each of the 4 documents and then manually collating them into 3 stapled bundles containing 4 reports each, that user can print them all together so they didn't have to manually do any sorting.

2. Warn when printing out of order page sequence

   I print hundreds of pages every month from a single PDF file, but I print some two-sided and the others one-sided. For example, I print pages 3,4,6,7,10-14,20,21,25-30. Today, I accidentally typed "118-12" instead of 120. But Acrobat just prints something. I'm not sure what because I cancelled the print job.

   Acrobat should analyze the page sequence and warn if it's out of order. I wouldn't want it warn me on the first example because it still makes sense, but if I print that sequence and then "32-3", it should stop, especially since it doesn't even make sense to print pages 32 to 3.

3. Injection of blank pages for printing

   When printing long documents (books etc.) it would be great to be able to add blank pages, that does not exist in the PDF in order to get a correct double sided print.The size of the blank page could e.g. depend on the page size before the blank.

4. cannot print single pages when in comparison mode

   Cannot print single pages when in comparison mode; only prints the summary page. It would be helpful to print single pages so I have a record of what still needs to be fixed in my document, since you cannot save the newer doc version as a separate document with notes intact. At least I would have a hardcopy to refer to.

5. Print more than 999 copies

   We should be able to print more than 999 copies theses days. This is really a pain. All other product we use here at my company allow to print more than that. I know i can change the values with my Fiery's interface after printing, said 1 copy, but this is a two steps ways and it is less efficient...

6. Distiller does not show all presets and not sorted

   I have several settings/presets saved in the folder:

   /Users/saschabucher/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Settings

   But only some of them are showing up in the Distiller settings dropdown where you can set the preset. The ones showing up are not even in the alphabetic order. This is maybe related to the issue in InDesign where the script panel is also not anymore ordered.

   This is may just cased by OSX High Sierra and SSD.

   For Distiller setting dropdown not in alphabetic order we have logged a bug in our database.
   And Setting which are not showing in dropdown this is not reproducible at our end. Can you please try reinstalling and updating Acrobat if its not updated to latest version? Let us know if this issue is still there.

8. Use printer default setting for double-sided printing

   Currently Adobe Acrobat DC does not recognise if the default printer setting on my mac has been set to duplex. There is a work around. By pressing the printer button and selecting 'duplex' from the print dialogue box that is revealed, pdfs can be printed double sided (DC warns against doing this by the way). The trouble is that it is easy to forget to follow this process, particularly when I am in a hurry, with the result that pdfs, in my case often 20 or 30 pages documents, are printed single sided. This wastes paper, is environmentally unfriendly and negates the whole reason for setting the default to double sided. I have many applications on my mac and Adobe applications (it's not just DC) are the only ones that don't recognise the duplex default setting. Please feel free to contact me if you require further information.

9. Inability to file pdf files in alphabetical order

   I have recently upgraded my Mac operating system to Mac OS High Sierra version 10.13.1. Since doing this, I am unable to use the Mac Finder in alphabetical order to drag and drop / file pdf's from Adobe Acrobat Pro onto my Mac flash storage (the folders are no longer in alphabetical order and are displayed in a random mixed order). The same applies when you print to pdf and then try and file on Finder.

   I would note that Finder itself accessed directly (i.e. not through Adobe) works as it is designed to and you can select any of the various filing options (by name, kind, application, etc.).

   I spoke with Apple support in Greece and they indicated this this was an Adobe problem (see attached file)

   How files/folder are sorted in any finder window is solely the business of your operating system and not Actobat. Are you facing this just with Adobe PDFs?

10. Print to PDF

    Google Chrome = Latest Version
    Acrobat X Pro
    Observation: Had no problem prior until 7/28/2017 when I noticed I had problem printing from a webpage (e.g. eBay.com) to PDF using Adobe Acrobat print driver. The printing would stall and this Distiller error would show up each time. Also strange is, I could clear this error message other than restarting my computer. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

11. Advanced Print Options Do Not Save Correctly in Custom Profiles

    In Acrobat XI Pro and Acrobat DC, when using the Advanced settings in Print, items such as Screening do not actually persist with saved custom profiles. If you select settings and save it under a new profile, switch to another and then view the profile where you had the desired settings, the settings will be found to never have saved in the first place.

    Additionally there is no way to save these custom profiles as a default.

    Open a file in a Mac OS application.
    Click the PDF button and choose Save As Adobe PDF.
    Choose the Adobe PDF Settings and click Continue.
    Type a name for your file, and click Save.

14. Background colour in file disappears in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

    Customer sent in a business card as a pdf file. I open the file in Adobe Acrobat 10 is shows the complete card with colored background. I open the same file in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and the coloured background is no longer there and will not print as part of the card. If i open the said file in Illustrator and resave it as a pdf, it appears on Acrobat DC. This situation has occurred 3 or 4 times since getting DC approx. 1 month ago. Not very confident in Adobe DC printing what is in file.

15. Distiller’s font handling genrates errors not honoured by ‘stopped’

    Distiller XI Pro 11.0.20 (28/03/2017), and many previous versions, crash “… /Font resourceforall”. Try the following code:

    (There are about 2½k fonts on my computer. I had a PostScript program that would print an example line of type of each. That no longer works. Please could it.)

16. Tray switching - mixed size originals - Mac OS Sierra 10.12.5 Brother HL-L6200dw

    According to the documentation provided by Adobe and Brother the printer should be able to switch trays and print the image on the correct size paper. The tray switching works but despite numerous hours on the phone with Apple and Brother the document prints as if it's on letter when it should be on legal. I've followed the directions provided by Adobe but the documents do not print correctly,

17. Press Quality Preset - Default PDF v1.7 needed

    I am a Prepress tech using an APPE workflow, the most current release. I have been seeing problems, since my upgrade and the advent of the CC, with PDF 1.4 being submitted for print. Mostly transparency problems. I have people modify their Adobe Press Quality PDF Preset to PDF 1.7, from InDesign. It helps greatly. Also makes me feel more confident in the soft proofing process, as v1.7 passes my EnFocus and RIP preflights better than lesser PDF versions. And I know this is an InDesign PDF export setting problem, but it is a Distiller preset, available within Indy. Can you please update your Press Quality Preset and share it with the other CC apps. I have other ideas about the Press Quality preset, but we will start with the important stuff. Much appreciated. bye bye then.

18. Distiller: moveto the currentpoint results in a continuation of current sub-path, not a new sub-path

    In Distiller XI Pro 11.0.20 (28.03.2017), distill the following:

19. "Print as Handouts" feature

    A "Print as Handouts" feature similar to the 2x6 feature in Microsoft PowerPoint. It is common for lecture slides to be released as single slide per page pdf documents, rather than the original PPT file. Because of this, you can only choose to print a number of pages per page (slides per page) in Adobe Acrobat but there is no option, like in powerpoint, for handouts (that is, have 3 slides/pages on the left side of a sheet and 3 boxes to the right that are blank with ruled lines on it for taking notes).

20. Installing a new printer while Acrobat or Reader is open and then trying to print to it sends it to the wrong printer

    After installing a printer while Adobe Acrobat and/or Reader is already open and has a PDF open, attempting to print to it prints to a different printer, even though the new printer appears in the list. Acrobat/Reader must be closed and reopened in order to print to the new printer.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1) Open Acrobat or Reader.
    2) Open a PDF
    3) Install a new printer
    4) Attempt to print the PDF to the newly installed printer (it appears in the list of printers)
    5) The PDF prints to a different printer.

    Environment: Windows 7 64-bit. Acrobat version 11 or Reader version 11.

    Expected result: PDF prints to newly installed printer
    Observed result: PDF prints to a different printer

    Workaround: Close and reopen the application after a printer install.

    After installing a printer while Adobe Acrobat and/or Reader is already open and has a PDF open, attempting to print to it prints to a different printer, even though the new printer appears in the list. Acrobat/Reader must be closed and reopened in order to print to the new printer.

    Steps to reproduce:
