  2. I have been fighting this for a few hours, but narrowed the issue down to an issue with Adobe Acrobat DC 19.012.20035.

The issue is when I print to my K8600 (issue does not happen with my 8.5x11 printer).

about 1/2 of the first page prints then I am no longer able to print in any application on the computer. I narrowed this down to Whenever I print from acrobat to this printer in A3 sized paper the Spooler service goes into stopped state. If I restart the service is prints another 1" of the file then crashes again.

    I…

  3. I downloaded purchased PDF files from Teachers Pay Teachers. Adobe Acrobat opens them. I can view them just fine. When I print, however, the job is processed, a printer icon appears showing 1 job is being created, and then the icon disappears. It doesn't appear to get to the printer at all.
I can print with the text editor just fine.
I am using a MacBook Air with MacOS Mojave 10.14.1 operating system. I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (first time I looked, was using 2017 version, now says continuous version????)

  4. Using Sierra 10.12.6

Previously, I had no issue printing.

Now, I print a document, and the entire thing prints in landscape.

Mac printer settings and Adobe are all set to portrait.

I uninstalled DC and re-installed. Still comes up landscape.

  6. BUG: Default page range still prints all pages. "Page 1 - Page 2" selected will still print all 400 pages of a document, and can't be cancelled. Causes major problems. If you click the page range radio button and erase "Page 1 - Page 2" and replace with "1-2" it will print those two pages. This is in Adobe Reader.

Adobe Acrobat has a similar issue: When I click the radio button by the
"pages" bar under Pages to Print, it does not automatically change the
preview to the default "page 1 - page 2." When I click into the…

  7. When using a windows application (e.g MS Word 2013) to print to pdf using the Acrobat print to pdf driver, the resulting file cannot be deleted. It says that the file is being used by Adobe acrobat. Even after the program is closed, the error remains. A reboot does not clear the error, i.e. after reboot, you are still unable to delete the file. The only way to delete this file is to enter the task manager and kill the acrobat process. Win 10 1809

  8. I have CC full suite and from the day I had to install Adobe Acrobat Pro DC I have been unable to print locally from any open PDF. I have tried multiple fixes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I've updated the printer drivers and had my IT support look at it. And now that this program is embedded in everything, I can't event go back to Acrobat.

    What's the problem?

  10. This dialog box used to default to ok. Now it requires an extra click, rather than being able to just add the trim marks, then hit enter twice

  11. Just in the last few days, every time I print to PDF from a webpage, all I get is symbols and junk. If I print to save over an existing file, its says it was created. But it actually does nothing but delete the original file.

  15. Pls provide us with the ability to Print to Adobe and append to rather then overwrite an existing file. Append to front or back of file instead of having to save each file and then open them all in adobe and merge them.

  16. I've been trying to get a PDF to print from Acrobat Pro for over an hour. I don't have a large number of fonts installed, so that's not it. It's not that there's something wrong with the PDF; it opens in Photoshop and prints from Safari with no problem. Why the, is Acrobat hanging forever?

  18. I know there is an option to "Save as PDF". However, sometimes, you don't want to "Save as PDF". You may want to "Print as PDF" (as it is in windows).

These 2 are different since "saving as PDF" simply saves the page as it is while "Printing as PDF" gives one the flexibility of saving as booklet, multiple pages e.t.c.

Also, "printing as PDF" enables one to save PDF forms that are not traditionally enabled for saving.

All these are important and standard features on the Windows version of the software.

  19. Any time I open a PDF and then merely print the document, I cannot simply close the PDF once printed. I get a pop-up box asking if I want to 'save changes to xxxxx.pdf before closing.' This is quite annoying when I have multiple documents open and have to click No for each PDF I have just printed.

This pop-up is a relatively new 'feature' so it must have been activated by a recent update.

I aks that you please fix this issue.

  20. We have internally developed, encrypted PDF forms that we own the intellectual property for. We make these available to internal users to generate publicly distributed documents where company private data has been removed via a control on the page. At present PDF Distiller complains that it cannot re-author an encrypted file. But if we own the encrypted file, there should be a way to internally sign this document for use amongst our users without needing to release the encryption password to our users. There are elements within the form that even our users are not permitted to alter, hence the…
