  2. My Internet connection was unreliable (there were a lot of timeouts) due to a partial outage at my ISP. This caused Acrobat DC to hang immediately upon opening it (I suppose because it couldn't reach some server). Switching to a more reliable connection fixed the problem immediately.

    Adobe, you should make Acrobat more resilient against unreliable Internet connections. Not being able to open PDF files due to a spotty connection is unacceptable.

  3. If i want to save a document to Microsoft OneDrive for Busines, therefore I need to add a storage account. Selecting OneDrive for Business requires me to enter an Admin Consent to give the required permission for the AzureAD Enterprise Application.

    By entering the admin credentials of a O365 Global Admin it does not work as an unexpected consent prompt entered in the Adobe Acrobat Enterprise Application for AzureAD is causing the error.

  4. I just had my computer repaired which required a migration of my old computer SSD to a new SSD. Before that, I used to be able to open up several PDF files at the same time in their own window, which is how I like to work as I frequently have to review multiple documents at the same time. I would like to know if that option still exists and if not I would like it back please.

    Also, the icons have changed on my desktop (why; that was your brand and was easy to depict from other doc files?).

    I am sorry for the inconvenience you are facing.
    For openign several PDF files at the same time in their own window you can
    1)open the preferences box by going to edit menu > click on preferences or by pressing ctrl+k
    2) In categories select ‘General’
    3) In basic tools uncheck ’Open documents as new tabs in the same window.

    For “fit a page to the full Adobe view screen” you can
    1) Right click and select ‘Document properties’
    2) Click on Initial view tab and select your preference in ‘Layout and Magnification’

  5. Looking up the word "corvée" breaks the "Look up selected word" function.

  6. Text spontaneously disappears after leaving the page and scrolling back to it. The text fields still exists and some letters stay visible, but the other letters have disappeared.

  8. When taking a form and editing it or whatever you want and then you go to email it I shouldnt be forced to save the form before emailing it. Me personally I dont need a copy of the form, I just want to email it like you used to be able to do on the old version before the update.

  11. When opening Adobe Acrobat Standard DC, it shows you a list of Recent Files that you have used; however, you can only open one of these files at a time. Similar to the ability to select multiples files in other programs of holding the Control key to select more than one file or holding the Shift key to select a range of files, it would be useful (and a standard Windows function) to be able to select multiple files and open them all at the same time.     You can select multiple files also from the recent list, by clicking on the checkbox and also by holding the control key to select more files.

  13. Acrobat DC began closing automatically, again. This is two weeks after I uninstalled the program and then reinstalled. Whether I open a pdf file from the Explorer window or open Acrobat and then select the file to open, the program closes automatically 10-15 seconds after it opens. After reinstalling the program, the problem continues. I have already tried the suggestions from an earlier post (updating the software from the Help menu, repairing the software from the Help menu and running Acrobat distiller). It does seem to be checking my registration status, but does not remain open long enough for me…

  14. The Select Tool is the default tool. I never use it and have never seen a need to use it. It makes the screen turn blue and wants to select things instead of letting me drag and move around the page to review large documents. I always have to stop what I'm doing and switch to the hand tool. I am opening and managing easily over 100 PDFs a day and having to switch at every new document is frustrating and time consuming.     You can make the hand tool the default option by trying:
    1)Look under Preferences> Acessibility
    2)Uncheck "Always display the keyboard selection
    3)Then select the Hand Tool.
    4)Close the program
    5)The Hand tool will now be default

  17. Some PDF documents seem to contain meta data content that's causing Adobe Acrobat DC and Adobe Acrobat Reader to move/resize their program window when such document is opened.

    This behaviour is rather annoying and it may lead to accessibility issues.

    Please, either stop Acrobat/Reader from moving/resizing their program window when opening a document containing such meta data information, or provide an accessibility option in Preferences to optionally have Acrobat ignore that meta data information.

    Hi,
    The issue faced by you is due to the setting of the document set by the user. Please see the following setting in the document :
    1. Open Document→File → Properties → Initial View Tab → uncheck Center Window on screen

    Please make sure the setting is not checked in your document to avoid the issue.

  18. Hi,

    The last 64-bit version of Adobe Acrobat DC has introduced the possible display in Windows explorer of the file thumb. Great, BUT it is extraordinarily slow and in practice unusable (in particular in the Windows 10 welcome screen of the explorer, showing the recently opened files: it seems that the cache is rebuilt every new session).

    So, please make the appropriate changes in the program to speedup this display, which is very useful.

    You can do the following steps to get the desired result.
    1) Open a pdf
    2) Right click and go to document properties.
    3) click on initial view tab
    4) Select desired values from the drop-down for ‘Page lyaout’ & ‘Navigation tab’.
