  1. It is very nice to have implemented the thumbnail view of Acrobat documents in the Windows explorer.

    There are nevertheless three bugs:
    - Their display is very (too) slow: why not incorporating directly this thumbnail (as the corresponding option in MS Word) in the file itself?
    - The thumbnails are square, which means that they display blank artificial borders (vertical or horizontal, depending of the orientation of the first page)
    - Very often, these thumbnails are black, thus unusable (see attached screenshot).

Thank you to correct these bugs in a future update.

  2. The current look up reference for word definitions is the webpage dictionary.com, which is really inaccurate sometimes. Besides, the whole operation of being directed to a webpage is nonsense, specially on Apple computer and devices, where you have the built in dictionaries, who are the reference source by default in any other app.
Moreover, dictionary.com only offer definitions for English words, but is useless if the user is reading a text on another language... So, just integrate the lookup function with apple dictionaries (as it already functions on the mobile app for iPad, for instance)

  3. Remove the To Do List. I've got Documents sitting there that have been signed years ago yet there's still sitting there bugging me to sign them.

STOP ADDING UNNEEDED "FEATURES" AND FIX THE BUGS.

  5. BUG Acrobat DC 2019.00820080 no longer applies action to all pages even though the setting for all pages it selected. This action has been working for over a year but since updating to 2019 it appears to be broken. In the attached file the water mark should appear on both pages.

  8. I'm using Adobe Acrobat DC and MadCap Flare 2018 r2 on a Windows 10 operating system.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Build a PDF in Flare.
    2. Open the PDF from inside Flare.
    3. Double-click on a different PDF in Windows Explorer.

    Expected result: Second PDF opens.
Actual result: Second PDF does not open. The error message that shows up sometime later says: Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server.

MadCap support has been unable to resolve the issue.

  10. There is a bug in this software that does not allow you to save the document. A blank window pops up and nothing shows, i.e. where the file could be saved. Only after several attempts does the "save as" window fully show up. What is the solution for this bug?

  11. I am working, and do not have time to invest in accepting or rejecting your popup leads for new Adobe products or tutorials. Send an email with this information. Adobe has lost most of its dignity as a solutions provider. There is a new ambulance chaser in Software City.

  12. I have Adobe Acrobat DC Pro and have been using it for some time. I find it functions very slowly and crashes if I have more than one PDF open at a time. I have sent numerous reports to Apple to no avail. Is DC 64 Bit? I have also tried reinstalling DC and the problem did not resolve. Please help, I am trying to run a business and will be forced to use an alternative product if the issue is not resolved.

  17. The Action Wizards that are custom setup can no longer save to a pre-specified folder.

Previously action would save to a designated folder when "Save to Local Folder" was the option.

It no longer saves at all even though the operation is checked.

What should happen is it should be saved in the folder specified as previously.

I'm running MacOS 10.14 and using Acrobat 20080 on a MacBook Pro.

For saving the file to a particular folder you can click on File menu > save as.
The popup opens up now select ‘choose a different folder..’
Now you can save your file to your desired location.

  18. The Acrobat Firefox (and most likely Chrome, etc.) plugin's settings dialog for page size isn't localized for metric support and only displays units in inches and not millimetres. Please fix this ASAP. We are not all American.

  20. I mostly use the Edit or Prepare Form tools. While I'm updating my document, Acrobat crashes at random times. There is nothing consistent, it just seems to be more finicky after the most recent update. After it crashes, I reopen it and the customized toolbar on the right has reverted back to the default tools. This is very inconvenient and happens several times a day while editing or preparing a document. Is this a known issue and is there a fix for this?
