  1. With the new version of Acrobat, the copy-paste process between a PDF document and other text field, doesn't work properly. The special characters (i.e. French accents like é è à) don't show up anymore when we copy-paste without formatting. I spent three hours with the technical support and they finally said: "this is normal with the new version". The copy-paste process works like this now"...

  3. Tools for Rich Media work fine for development when we add a video. It fails when we try to view the video added on Acrobat DC for Windows.

Acrobat Reader can play the video fine on both the PC and Mac

Acrobat DC Pro on the Mac version # 2021.005.20048 can create and play the video correctly.

Acrobat DC Pro on Windows can create the PDF with Rich Media tools but it can not play the video. It may crash or it may do nothing. No video can be seen. I tried it both playing in the document or in…

  4. Hi there, the companies I've worked at and later in my career, I personally have always used Adobe products. Always paid for all the software I used over the years and updated regularly. Now I find myself the victim of an unfortunate accident that has left me with what seems to be permanent brain injury. In spite of several years of therapy so far, I am no longer able to work as a creative director/designer..

I still have hopes that I might one day recover enough to return to work, but as of the last 5 years I have been…

  5. Adobe DC 20.9.20067 crashes when zooming, using CTRL+Click wheel (on mouse).
    Windows 10 Enterprise machine 10.0.18362 Build 18362

    We have:
    - Verified there are no updates (Adobe)
    - Reinstalled the program
    - Ran all existing Manufacturer updates (Lenovo)
    - Ran all available Windows updates
    - Altered NVIDIA (Quadro K4200) settings per article: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/scrolling-problem-acrobat-pro-dc/td-p/7700173/page/2?page=1

Nothing has stopped this from happening. Please advise what can be done to correct this issue.

*This is an intermittent issue that cannot be easily reproduced. Sometimes Adobe is the only program opened when a crash occurs

  7. Currently, embedded links which use the Data URL schema are blocked by Adobe Acrobat even when adjusting security settings. Adobe Acrobat doesn't need to support reading these links as they're simply opened in a browser, but we need Acrobat to stop blocking these links. I've attached an example PDF with an embedded data url.

  8. I want to upvote "Reopen PDFs Launched in previous sessions on Opening Acrobat/Reader".
Although you implemented reopen pdfs from last session, it would be INCREDIBLY useful to be able to save sessions. e.g. 5 specific pdfs regarding research on wastewater management could be saved as a session and 10 different pdfs (or some of the previous 5) as a session regarding Mn removal from water with an option to recall whichever I need when opening Acrobat. That would speed up a lot of people's workflow, especially those who have to jump through multiple topics with various materials.

  9. After the October 2018 release update, if the PDF is opened with the output preview displayed, the display is frequently lost. This has not yet been resolved in update 2019.021.20056. Therefore, PDF checking in prepress is the reason why you should use 2017 instead of DC. I think that it was a problem that can be corrected because it was displayed normally before.

  10. I have two things to say:

    1) "Reopen PDFs from last session" doesn't work for me. The setting is ticked in the relevant menu but on launching the Acrobat, it is greyed out.

    2) Inb the "Recent" panel there are checkboxes for recently opened PDFs. I think there should be an option there to select using the checkboxes the PDFs the user wishes to open and opening them.

  11. Can't seem to find a way to just use the mail icon and not have to click continue to email and attachment?
Used to be able to click on mail icon and default email would auto-attach. this extra click is needed to select "continue" every time.

  13. Acrobat DC 2019.012.20035
    Windows 10 1903 (18362.175)

Acrobat DC crashes every time I simply select text in a PDF document opened in Protected Mode and choose Copy.

If I choose to enable editing, it doesn't crash.

  17. Acrobat processes hang in task manager. Clicking on a PDF file or the application shortcut will not launch the program but task manager shows Acrobat running. Killing the process and trying again still does not work. Users have to sign out or reboot several times a day to get Acrobat to launch.

  20. Been using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC , the latest version as of March 3, 2018, for 2 years and it has progressively encumbered my laptop to the point of being unusable.
I have a 2016 HP Envy with i7 2.6 GHz and 8 GB RAM. Plenty of hard drive space, no bulky software, even my antivirus program is lightweight, and MS Office.
I am frustrated beyond explanation, I'm pulling my hair out. 50% of my job depends on PDF files and my computer just can't seem to get them open quickly, edit them without freezing for 60 seconds, and stop…
