  1. Organize or move attachment according to your preference

    When attaching files, they organize according to they were selected, however, when you save and close the document, they sort our different, changing the way you wanted.

  5. your software used to be a go to. you have over complicated and is annoying to use in this present version. To the point I dread a pdf.

  6. All pdfs are read-only

    Is there a fix for the read-only bug in which you are unable to save edits to pdfs. Error message reads "The document could not be saved. The file may be a read only or another user may have it open. Please save this document with a different name or in a different folder."

  8. Decreasing Reliability of Adobe Software

    The reliability of the Adobe software has decreased significantly over the past couple years. A number of times, the program has not kept updated changes I've made to documents, which has caused unnecessary re-dos. And very frequently, the software crashes and stops working. This is especially inconvenient when I'm saving changes; these glitches keep any changes made from being saved.

    I've kept the software updated and continue to have issues. Help.

  11. Search does not work at all.

    Search for text does not work at all. Even after optimizing a PDF with text and performing OCR on it, Adobe still cannot find a single word.

  12. Extract icon in Quick tool stop working

    I use to be able to click on the icon and the extract function would open. Now, when I click on it nothing happens. I did remove it and re-add it but it still not working.

  13. Automic procedure for signing in to Acrobat

    We would like to have an automatic procedure where the user do not need to sign in by himself but the automatic procedure is doing it for him.
    The idea is that after logging on to a device a scheduled task will run. This task should call a batch program that will do the sign in automatically.

  14. BUG: Text field > action > reset form: New text fields added are automatically added to the list and DEFAULT AS SELECTED

    BUG: Text field > action > reset form > Make selections: New text fields added after the fact are automatically added to the list as they DEFAULT AS SELECTED. They should default as not selected as they did not exist before the field was made.

  16. Missing kana when combining HTML files to PDF (encoding and/or font error?)

    Summary: Combining Japanese HTML documents. Many (not all) are missing hiragana and katakana when combined. Appear to be displayed as Chinese.

    Sample files attached:
    1317553.htm -- displayed properly
    1317556.htm -- not displayed properly (no kana, Chinese font?)

    Possible issue:
    Despite proper encoding of HTML documents, output is in a Chinese font (which likely has no kana support). This suggests that Acrobat is misreading HTML encoding. In 2022.

  17. Ability to set background color on text inputs on Adobe Sign Templates web version.

    Given the following example pdf:
    https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/cra-arc/formspubs/pbg/td1/td1-22e.pdf

    It would make sense to fill out the Social insurance numbers as a single input with a white background and overwrite the existing bars as it makes the input hard to read on the final copy.

  18. "Use Current Properties as New Defaults" on Auto-Field Detection

    "Use Current Properties as New Defaults" should also apply to the auto-field detection wizard. It seems to defeat the purpose of being able to set these defaults if it only works when adding each field individually and manually.

  19. Allow Acrobat on a different PC to any running CC for photography

    I have 2 personal MacBooks, one main and one for photography, and a Windows work PC. I have the full Adobe subscription and want to use all applications on the main MacBook, photography applications on the other MacBook and only Acrobat on the work Windows machine but the licencing does not let me. I think the licencing should be changed to an application base, i.e. Acrobat only on 2 PCs, Photography apps only on 2 PCs, rather than an overall licence only on 2 PCs
