Editing documents defaults to symbols rather than the font chosen and will not change.
I pay $32.00 a month for a program that is completely unreliable. When I try to edit text it is reverting to z@R5CB6.tmp which produces symbols. It will not change to arial or any other font. It's time wasting and frustrating. Not happy

Bate Stamps
Please add bates stamping back to the Add a Stamp tool. Putting it in Edit a PDF means Adobe analyzes the entire PDF and compromises the integrity of the document every single time I need to apply a bate stamp. Thanks.

It's not working!
It make you loose a lot of time! It doesen't convert a stupid 3 pages word into pdf! After I spent 146,25 Euros (over 150 dollars) in the Adobe pack! Feeling mocked and robbed.

Option to HIDE/MINIMIZE/ORIENT HORZONTIALLY the Floating toolbar.
Need the ability to Hide/Minimize/Dock horizontally the Floating toolbar. It's in the way and takes up precious screen space. Please fix this!

Find and Highlight for all occurrences of a word in one action, without using JavaScript, add to built-in functionality instead.
At this time, Adobe Acrobat does not have a native feature to automatically “Find and Highlight” all occurrences of a word in one action. While Acrobat does allow you to find text and manually highlight it, bulk highlighting across the document is not supported without using JavaScript.
The options you may notice such as “Find Text” under the Redaction tool are specifically designed for redaction workflows and cannot be used to apply highlight annotations. This is why only redaction-related actions…

I would love for an index feature to exist to create a table of context or index based on your bookmarked. It would be helpful if it uses the numbers on pages, like bate-stamped pages or section breaks

Color-Based Highlight Tagging and Sorting Functionality
I would like Adobe Acrobat to support the ability to assign persistent categories or semantic tags to highlight colors. Specifically, each highlight color (e.g., yellow, blue, green, pink) could be mapped to a user-defined category (e.g., “Key Requirement,” “Risk,” “Action Item,” “Definition,” “Citation,” etc.).
Once assigned, users should be able to:
View highlights grouped or filtered by color/category in the Comments pane
Sort highlights by assigned category
Optionally rename categories independent of the visible color label
Export comments with category metadata included
Apply and manage category mappings globally (across documents) or at the document level
This would allow highlight colors…

Selecionar área específica para editar o pdf sem transformar a página toda editável
No botão de editar PDF coloque também uma opção para que seja selecionado a área de edição ao invés de deixar toda página editável, fazendo com que fontes desconhecidas ou escritas não fique borrado e que só edite a área desejada.

Irrelevent features editor and AI
It may be looking like a great idea to cover everything. However, it is pushy and waste of money to promote this way Acrobat editor and AI. It is a good multiplatform format to see the same, to print the same. Well, to sign what you see. It is waste of time and money to make irrelevant features. Your format is not about efiting. Your AI should't break experience with regular search and shouldn't be enoying. Just fire your marketing and requirement management. They waste money of investors

TTS
Thank you for adding TTS to Adobe Acrobat Reader!! I'm writing today because sometimes, when attempting to use the new TTS feature, some pdfs are currently incompatible due to how OCR works on scanned PDF files. Sometime the TTS won't "understand" how to read a two column pdf. It will just read both columns as though it was one sentence, which defeats the point of using TTS.
TTS is in adobe is a game changer for me! It's vital feature because sometimes i'll write small reflections (in MC word) is my scholarly pdf is being read to me. Which amplifies…

Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 lässt sich nicht aktivieren
Habe seit Jahren lebenslange Vollversion von Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017, bisher war ich zufrieden, jetzt auf einem der zwei PC's deaktiviert weil neuer PC, auf neuem PC geht Aktivierung NICHT weil angeblich zuviele Aktivierungen und vorher soll man einen PC deaktivieren - HAB ich aber eh gemacht! Chatboot und Chat mit Techniker und Mail an Support sagen immer wieder ich muss zuerst einen deaktivieren obwohl ich immer angegeben habe dies schon gemacht zu haben! -> keine Hilfe! Brauche unbedingt die erneute Aktivierung meines teuer gekauften Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017!! Warum geht das nicht - habe doch lebenslange Vollversion Serial: 1118-1221-4539-4609-6458-1972…

IOS Prefill Functionality Missing
The desktop version of E-sign does not allow for the issuer to pre-fill fields in saved templates. I have to open the online version of acrobat to use the profile function. Please add functionality to the desktop version.

The body of a, E-sign template is not editable, only the fields which have been assigned prior. Changes to the text in the body of a document requires starting over from scratch with the original PDF each time a change needs to be made to the body of the template. This ends up being way more work than is necessary. Please update so we can make changes to our templates.

I works paperless. Widows File Explorer allows previews of documents without having to open them. PDF are quicker to view than Word documents. However, PDF documents from emails or the internet now have a Blocked status that prevents them being previewed. This means you have to unblock them all which takes time and they don't become immediately previewable. This is very very frustrating and time consuming.
I thought i had found a fix at work but it didn't work. I don't seem to have the same options on my personal laptop even though operating systems are the same.1 vote -
Set Acrobat as default application stubborn notification
Adobe Acrobat Reader (v 2025.001.21184) constantly pops up notifications to set Acrobat as default application for PDF file DESPITE being already set as default app!! Windows 11 64bit.
Despite allowing (again!) Acrobat assignment as default app for requested file types, after few days it notifies again to set it despite being already set as default and operating correctly as default application.1 vote -
Banner stops signature

OS: Windows 11Steps to recreate:
1) open unsigned document.
2) drag signature to document
3) banner pops up abruptly ending signature formatting.Actual behavior:
When adding a signature (2), the "help" banner (1) ends signature formatting abruptly and forces the signature to complete. Once the banner pops up I can no longer adjust the size or placement of the signature.Expected:
I should be able to adjust the signature size and position until I manually accept that the signature formatting is correct. The signature should never be forced to complete.1 vote
