Save as Adobe PDF without active Hyperlinks in Office applications
We are trying to create a PDF document without active Hyperlinks since the PDF will be sent to external sources and persons.
We/I have tried to use Save as Adobe PDF, print to Adobe PDF and other options through Adobe utility but all document created do have active hyperlinks in them.
We do not wish to have users click on the hyperlink and navigate to that particular site.
Current workaround is to create a PDF, open the PDF in Acrobat Pro and save it again.
We cannot ask our people to do that manually each time for each document since…1 voteHi
You can create PDFs from Office applications without active hyperlinks by unchecking the “Add Links” option in Acrobat Preferences in the Office PDFMaker addin.
Let us know if that resolves your problem. Thanks

Transparency Flattener kills cross references and table of contents (TOC)
In a PDF produced from InDesign, with TOC and cross references, if I run the Transparency Flattener, the links in the TOC and in cross references stop working.
I should be able to run the Transparency Flattener while still preserving these links.

Creating "Anyone" or "Everyone" signature fields
Hi,
I think it'll be easier to let the persons who were sent the pdf to sign insert themselves their e-mail address when they'll be signing.
Why do this?
When we need to send a document to be sign by more than 50, 100 or even 200 persons (when we need to check the presence of people at a webinar event, for instance) it's too long to do it now in Adobe Sign. We need to select and drag a signature field for each and everyone of them.1 vote -
As a user who works with panorama images, I need the possibility merge two or more pages into one.
I don't need A3, A4, A0 or any other specif printable size because everything is digital nowadays. I need the possibility to merge two or more pages into one. Panorama is a good start.

As a user who works with engineering drawings, I need OCR for wider / panorama images.
As of today, it is not possible to run OCR for wider images. Please re-consider this limitation.
This is also a topic in the support community.

Partial OCR is dumped from cropped image after re-running OCR on the remaining image
In order to run OCR for wider images, some users suggested a workaround to crop the image, run OCR for the first half, then restore the image to the original size, crop again the second half, then run OCR again and finally restore the image to its orignal size.
There are two bugs with this approach:
1) It is only possible to restore the image to its original size when using the option "Searchable Image (Exact)".
2) After re-running the OCR for the second half of the file, the OCR for the first half is dumped. This is also a…

BUG: Combine tool alters original text of PDFs to match 1 of the set.
When combining pdfs the binder file has altered the text of the originals to match on of the set.
The pdfs are similar format with pictures. The pictures remain unaltered, but the text is copied from one pdf to all the others that are similar.

Being able to reopen a document due to person messing up
I've had two instances so far where being able to reopen the document would have been advantageous instead of canceling the contract and starting all over again.
The first time was when the signer filled in the wrong information and the second time was the last signer, the official signer was unable to complete her signature, something happened and only two letters of her name was recorded on the document.

why do you have that completely useless floating miniature page? Totally useless and covers up information. Impossible to eliminate. I spent >1 hour searching through the www to figure out how to eliminate it. The "x" doesn't work when punched by the mouse. Whoever thought of this brilliant do nothing should be reprimanded.

Unable to upgrade Acrobat Adobe X Pro to Acrobat Adobe XI Pro
Dear Sir/Madam,
In 11 Oct, 2013, I bought a full license of CS6.0 (Adobe order no. 138180935) and 4 license of Acrobat Professional 11.0 together (Adobe order no. 138180935, cert ID: 11782938). After installing my CS6.0 for many years, I did not notice that the CS6.0 I have purchased came with an older Acrobat X Pro. I was shocked to find out the laptop where I have installed CS6.0 has an old Acrobat X Pro that cannot be updated to Acrobat XI Pro. All other laptops and PCs have Acrobat XI Pro. Please advise on why did CS6.0 came with…

Drag tools from the Toolbar
In Mac OS it is a piece of cake to customize Toolbars. Just Command-Drag to heart's content.
Why is it such a pain ********** (impossible?) in Acrobat. I am very disappointed.

Insert the Outlook default signature when sending a PDF by email from Acrobat
insert the Outlook default signature when sending a PDF by email from Acrobat, this would really help those who use Pro for official business. By not adding our signature box to the email automatically it requires us to do additional steps costing us time and makes us look un-professional.

Crashes from Word/Excel 2016; both the plug-in and Save As PDF
I get repeated hard-reboot crashes when creating PDFs from relatively small simple Word documents. I follow the instructions, remove and re-add the plugin, still it can take 20 minutes to get a 9-page, no images or links Word document to PDF correctly. Please fix this.
Windows 10, Acrobat Pro DC version 2020 (latest), Microsoft Word and Excel 2016.1 voteHi
Please check with latest Acrobat 2020 and let us know if you are still facing this issue.
Thanks

Performance improvements & 64bit Windows
First - If running multiple instances of Adobe DC, there is NO reason why one instance should cause the other to hang, it's the 20th century and multi-threading isn't new technology anymore, get with the program.
64bit support on Windows 10 would be a big plus.
It takes an average 20-30 seconds to open a SINGLE PAGE PDF. NONE and I mean NONE of the suggestions about turning off enhanced security and what not are helping to make it quicker. Opening PDF files should be near nano second operations, especially single page documents. Since the release of the DC version,…1 vote
