1. Cropping multiple files with action wizard causes crash

   I set up a simple action to crop files to some specific measurements. These are magazine pages, so all need the same crop. The action wizard manages about 10 files and then crashes. When it crashes it corrupts the file it was currently working on, so I have to generate that one again for the next attempt. As our magazine has up to 600 pages, this is a huge problem. It seems to happen every time I try. I am on a Mac running the latest Mojave version.

2. "Ignore Future Errors" checkbox is Ignored on Acrobat Pro DC 2019.010.20091 on Mac

   I attempted to run the "Recognize Text In This File" command on a file with digital signatures and received a random "This operation is not permitted" error (see screenshot) which may in itself be a bug. But then I checked "Ignore future errors in this document" and hit OK, and received the same popup, with the "Ignore future errors" box checked, for each subsequent error in the document until it reached the last page. I thought this was strange.

3. Can't select a text annotation - Acrobat Pro 2017

   In Acrobat X a text annotation (created with the Typewriter tool) could easily be selected by merely clicking on it. In Acrobat Pro 2017 there seems to be no way to select it. This is a real show stopper for me since I often need to delete or copy/paste a group of selected line, text, and other annotations.

5. Repeats automatic update when I try to open a PDF

   Today Acrobat automatically updated when I opened a PDF. Now, every time I try to open another PDF, it starts the automatic update process again. How can I stop this?

   It seems to me this is a bug.

   Adobe Acrobat and Reader official update containing the fix for this issue is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader.

   If you want, you may also manually trigger the update by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates.

   I am French fund of literature and work for editors in particular in view of publications of translations from Indian literature into French.

   I am thus using most programs of the Adobe Creative Suite, because I also manage a Web site devoted to the promotion of Indian literature to French-speaking people (www.chatranjali.fr).

   The purpose of my request is the following:
   I gather PDF documents from either Indian sites, or Indian writers or their agents. They are thus written in one of the numerous languages and scripts used in the Indian subcontinent: devanagari mainly, but also bengali, tamil, etc, Unfortunately, these PDF files are very often encoded as "Identity-H" (I don't really understand what this means but I have understood that this is not the international norm Unicode), and the font information shown in the files' metadata is not really clear: e.g. "CID-Font+F1", "CID-Font+F2", etc.

   The exportation of the file in MS word does not work (instead of getting the initial document, I have a set of useless signs).

   My question is thus: is it possible to retrieve the text from a PDF file encoded like that?

9. Cannot edit PDF after entering password

   Acrobat DC, Windows
   If I open a PDF which I protected myself with a password and I enter the password to temporarily disable the protection, I should be able to edit the PDF the way I want, but I'm not. I cannot mark, not draw anything. I'm forced to save an unprotected copy. This is paradox and stupid!

11. Why can't i find any real help?

    Why can't i talk to an expert about the issues I'm having? All the tutorials are much too basic and scrolling through all the reams of posts is exhausting and never results in an answer. I need advice on how to save a pdf. file with radio buttons and fillable sections so i can send it to a client for completion. Why is there no detailed best practice on how to use pre-flight so that forms work for your clients?

12. insert a pdf page of file

    Acrobat Pro 9 allowed me to add a pdf page or file by going to Documents/Insert page

    With Acrobat DC, I don't see this feature; the closest I have come is to merge files, which is more troublesome and creates a new file that I then have to rename

13. Edit fill and stroke in Form fields

    I can't find a way to make a permanent change to appearance of form fields. It will keep having the blue color on top at the end user. In the properties panel it is shown as no fill and stroke.     Hello ..

    Seems like the text field has “Allow Rich Text Formatting” enabled. You can try Cmd + E on MAC and Ctrl + E On Windows to pull the toolbar, and save.

14. Unable to uncheck headers and footers option after comparing two pdfs.

    This is not an idea. I am not able to uncheck headers and footers option after comparing two pdfs. Because of this I'll have to go through obvious header and footer changes, which is a waste of time.

15. Selection Bug

    it happened unexpectedly - i can not trace the trigger. ever since, selecting text/graphics in PDF DC produces pixelated multicolor mosaic that makes it difficult to spot lines/text elements

    se fosse possibile scegliere la dimensione (Grande o Piccolo) delle icone degli strumenti o ridurre lo spazio fra una e l'altra in quanto troppo ingombranti (ne ho circa 40 preferite), sarebbe comodo anche se andassero su 2 righe ma farebbero rimpicciolire l'area di visualizzazione del pdf, inoltre, se fosse possibile, cambiare alcune icone in modo da far capire meglio a cosa corrispondono. Ad esempio l'anteprima separazione è troppo simile a quella di ottimizzazione pdf. la conversione colore era molto più immediata quando era colorata. La frecciata per far accedere ai pannelli di navigazione dovrebbe sempre essere aperta e, semmai, ritrarla se necessario. Il pulsante "condividi", in alto a destra, ridurlo solo a icona o meglio poter scegliere di averlo o focone la campanella e l'aiuto.
    Per me rispetto all'Acrobat XI nella gestione strumenti si è fatto un passo indietro.
