  1. I hate the new layout of PDF Documents. Why can't you just leave things alone? The old format was so simple to use. Now this new one, takes me ages just to find what I want to do.

  2. Your new layout is just a crab!
    Impossible to work with when you have to find and / or adapt the simplest layot functions. Do you test your ideas before go live ?
    Happy that you competitors are a little bit more user friendly.

  4. Acrobat Pro DC, Continuous Release | Version 2021.005.20058

    ALL or NONE is not enough. In previous versions, we had more player control options in the drop-down list. See this video in forum post from May 2022.

    What happened to the other options?

    There is no way to stop the video once it starts playing. That's terrible for usability reasons.

    Incredibly slow and laggy, UI is almost unusable. Using 50% - 100% of a single core just to scroll. Ironically I am trying to read the Adobe PDF Reference, Third Edition.

    Really Adobe? I can't even read a 9MB file ABOUT the PDF specification in YOUR OWN software without it slowing to a crawl?

  9. For the european GPDR rules it would be greate when sending a file with Send and track to disable the download option. So receivers can only view the file from the Adobe cloud but they cannot download it.

  10. the measure tool has no way of increasing dimension text height.

  11. The feature was available on early versions which made batch processing easier. I believe it allowed the user to Execute a Menu Item. Please bring it back. The javascript work arounds all seem to have their own little issues.

  12. Endless nonsense issues about some "cash app", registering Google Drive, Verizon password… Even tried flagging them but they're still there over 24 hours later; clearly no-one even at Adobe gives a rat's a-hole about this place.

  13. Tl;dr: The new 64-bit version of Acrobat should work as Reader when not logged-in/assigned a license.

    In the era of work-from-home we now have all of our users logging into a multi user terminal server.

    On this server we recently installed the 64-bit version of Adobe since it's where the industry is moving to; however, we then discovered that once Adobe "upgrades" itself from Reader mode to Acrobat mode all of our reader only users cannot access the product.

  14. I just upgraded to Acrobat Pro DC, and am frustrated that every time I open a PDF I have to deal with this open "home" window cluttering up my desktop. It obstructs my workflow. I don't understand what the point of it is. There doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of it.

  15. Acrobat DC is very slow to view the files. Checking the separations and toggling 2 documents. It would be great, if you work on this. Slowness is very much frustrating.

  18. Whenever opening pdf file, Acrobar Pro DC always shows a window titled as 'content preparation progress". This takes too long and blocks file content & makes hard to read file content.
    Sometimes several minutes, sometimes forever!
    This needs to be improved.

  19. Due to corporate policy, we are not allowed to use external servers, Document Cloud is such a server. Our documents are not to be loaded to any external servers.
    Can we have the ability to remove the Document Cloud from view or code-wise?
    We can not have our confidential documents going to Adobe's servers.

  20. I am running Adobe Acrobat DC on a Windows 7 machine with 16GB of RAM and an NVidia NVS 310 Graphics Card. I have no issues regarding visual display or memory with other software. When running Adobe Acrobat DC, I frequently encounter issues where the file/program crashes, giving an error that it is Out of Memory or encountering a Draw Error. This has happened while reading multiple different PDF files, usually after I have been scrolling through the file for a short time.
