2. New cloud share icons are taking up prime real estate

   I want to remove the new share icons that were added with the DC cloud app. They are taking up prime menu bar real estate and I need that space for my quick access tools. I also wish Adobe would program size options for the menu bar icons so I can choose smaller icons in order to have more of them fit in the greatly reduced menu bar that you've given us.

3. Autosave fail

   I am running Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2019.021.20061 on a MacBook Pro with Catalina version 10.15.04. In the Adobe Acrobat preferences I have autosave set to every 5 minutes. However, when Adobe Acrobat decided to restart for me to agree to some updated user terms all my comments on the document disappeared. From a quick google search it is clear that this is a common problem and that the autosave feature is not working, or at least only occasionally.

4. custom settings for scanning

   Revert to 2017 interface for scanning. if i want to switch between one side and two sides, I have to change the default setting each time. same with page size. I attached the older interface. Much easier to use.

6. Make Comments Private

   Can you make comments private? i.e I want to send PDF to A&B via cloud, but I dont want A to see B comments and vice versa. Is this doable?

   So there is no way to 'segregate' participants? I am wanting to share a file with people who I do not want to be able to see other participants comments. So what is the point of sharing I hear you ask? I want to share with internal staff, but only want external invitees to comment/mark up without seeing the internal discussion about what they have to say, as it may be 'sensitive'. We dont want 2 versions of the document, one internal and one external. We just want to have more control with what information is availabe to read.

7. you need to provide a pending file which tracks requests for signature

    Display problem
    The attached file shows correctly in other viewers and prints correctly from Acrobat. Also exports to image correctly. In Acrobat the transparency is gone.

    The Acrobat DC is really **** .. I Fill up the Form 3 times and as I save it... it non editable and can't upload anywhere because of encryption

    Tagged PDFs exported from InDesign drop spaces between words. This occurs in the content at the end of lines, most often in List Items, but also in paragraphs. It occurs nearly all the time in lists, causing screen readers to mispronounce the run-together words unless they are separated by punctuation or the 2nd word has an initial cap.

    This has been a problem for quite a while. Very time consuming to fix -- by adding space manually in Acrobat DC or adding actual text.

    Working on proprietary material here, cannot forward example files and I do not create the native files . File created on Indesign for Mac, remediation of PDF on Windows 10. Calibri font in this instance.

    Hi,

    Can you please provide the following details :

    1. Does the app freezes when you try Fill and Sign with all PDF files or specific PDF files. If possible can you please share a sample PDF.
    2. Did you try using Comments/Edit after opening the PDF?
    3. Once the application freezes, open task manager and go to Acrobat.exe process, right click and create a process dump. Kindly share that with us.

18. Replacement Text (AccSupp ActualText entry) Support

    We noticed that your PDF viewer doesn't have AccSupp ActualText support. This means that copy-pasting technical text such as shellscripts and programming code, does not work in your PDF viewer and this greatly restrains the use of your whole program.

    The replacement text is said to be supported, according to the file "Document management - Portable document format - Part 1: PDF 1.7" both on Table 323, page 559, and on section 14.9.4, page 615. Available here: https://www.adobe.com/content/dam/acom/en/devnet/pdf/PDF32000_2008.pdf.

    But according to the tests made using PDFs produced by pdflatex using the package accsupp, the replacement text support seems to be unreliable at the moment for copy and paste.

    The tests generated various behaviors such as:
    - Correct copy and paste of the text, but incorrect copy and paste of leading spaces and empty lines (Test 1);
    - Unexpected insertions of spaces (Test 3 and Test 6), and;
    - Spaces turned into newlines (Test 4).

    We kindly request better support of the replacement text support, because the copy and paste directly from the PDF document is not reliable.

    I understand your concern here. I have shared this with the higher management. We currently do not have any plan to implement it but we have kept it in our radar and will pick up in future,
