  1. blank window pop up with nothing to select and lost all unsaved work

    I was reviewing some comments, accepting, rejecting etc. and for no reason a blank white pop up with Abode Acrobat heading popped up disabling me from being able to save or continue with the only option being to end adobe in task manager. Why am I paying money for this software I wonder?

  3. I got charged even tho i am not subscribed

    At 2024.05.10. at about 22:27 i got charged for 65 EUR. I found it strange, because i am not subscribe to any adobe stuff. I check every possible way i can somehow have other account (google, apple, facebook, normal one didn't even worked). I want my money back, because it is a lot of money for me (broke collage boy). I tought about telling my bank about this that this was an error or something and get a refound and get my card frozen, but i doN't know if I'll ahve any legal issue. I tried to translate the details…

    In attempting to Save a PDF as PDF-A I receive the following error message. I have exited and re-launched Acrobat several times. Using Acrobat v 2024.002.20736 64-bit

    Acrobat add-in causes Word to become unresponsive when inserting a link.

    After installing the Acrobat add in to word, Word would become unresponsive when attempting to insert a link into the document. from the insert tab, to Links and link, the "Insert Hyperlink" window would pop up, and Word would go unresponsive and would need task manager to force quit.

    After disabling the Acrobat add in, Word was able to insert hyperlinks into Word docs without issue upon restart.

  6. Acrobat locks up when signing in via Google

    I open a PDF and Acrobat launches fine. I click "Sign in" on the top right. I click "Continue with Google" and it launches a browser window and says "You're all set!". Acrobat locks up. I can't click on anything. The only way to close it is via the taskbar.

  7. when hilighting a pdf on an ipad with Adob pro, allow text highlighted to be copied to comment, or allow exporting highlighted text. in

    On theipad, this settings option is not available and its extremely frustrating because I would like to read/annotate on my ipadt I can then export (essentially exporting my "notes" from the pdf). On my ipad, this settings option is not available and its extremely frustrating because I would like to read/annotate on my ipad as the highlight functionality there is superior to desktop.

    Also, I have a university/enterprise account and couldnt login to vote/submit the comment because the SSO option is not enabled for this page.

  8. Comments Shouldn't Spam Mentioned Users

    Comment workflow will often be one user making a pass over the document, followed by another user, and so on. Currently every @mentioned user is sent an e-mail the moment you mention them, which floods everyone's inboxes and leads to users editing a document before it's ready. Suggest copying Word's system, where users are invited to comment when the user chooses, rather than the instant they are mentioned.

  9. PDFMaker adding unwanted characters to Word running headers

    When using running headers in Microsoft Word, extra characters are inserted into some running headers that use StyleRef fields. The particular circumstance is when the heading used to populate the running header appears in a previous section of the document. PDFMaker injects tracking characters into the heading before processing the header field, so the tracking characters are inserted into the field.

  10. Adobe crashes when closing document within the first 3 sec after opening

    Bug report

    OS: Windows 11
    Windows Build-Nr.: 22631.3447

    Product: Adobe Acrobat Reader
    Version: 2024.002.20736

    Bugreport & Steps to reproduce:
    1. Initial situation: There is no Adobe Reader window currently opened.
    2. Open any pdf document by double-clicking from Windows explorer
    3. Close right after opening (or at least within the first 3 seconds) by clicking the "x" on the PDF tab

    Expected result: PDF Tab gets closed but Adobe Reader Window remains open.

    Actual result: Adobe Reader crashes.

    Additional Information: It also crashes if you click the "x" on the window itself, but here it doesn't matter since we want…

    where shall I begin…
    since months – adobe acrobat s****!

    • crushing still on itself
    • workspace that has been set up disappears again and again and has to be set up once more and more
    • content of pdfs is sometimes only displayed in fragments and flashes continuously
    • after each work step, screen turns white and I can no longer see any of the content – that means, close pdf-file, open again, other work step, closing pdf-file, open again, other work step – and so goes the story on…

  16. Why is the 'file save' icon greyed out? Why do we have to use a more lengthy procedure 'menu / save as' in order to save a file?

    Can we not have a working icon to be able to save a file? And that pop-up window which shows recently used file saved locations can be awfully slow - can take 20+ seconds to display anything on occasions, but usually at least 10 seconds. Dreadfully slow process. On occasions it may even not function at all, stalled spinning wheel or no spinning wheel at all,

    Acrobat DC is just sooo terribly terribly slow compared to the old installed versions of reader that used to exist... I still use Reader 4 on an 25 year old machine and it works…

  20. Duplicate field on all pages feature missing

    I used to be able to duplicate fields to all pages. After the latest update (23.0), this feature seems to have been removed. This means putting a document out for signing now takes 3-4 times longer to complete. Please, add this back
