  2. Checkbox in the Header and Footer dialog for PRESERVE HEADER and PRESERVE FOOTER allowing a user to update the header or footer independently of the other. The removal of headers when footers are updated (for example) is unacceptable and causes so many issues.

  3. Hello,

    I am working with a collection of TGZ files and need to convert them into PDF format for easier viewing and sharing. I have tried a few methods, but so far, none of them seem to give me the desired results.

    Can anyone suggest an effective way to convert TGZ files into PDFs? Preferably, I would like a solution that is simple, reliable, and supports batch conversion. Any help or tools you could recommend would be highly appreciated!

  4. BUG - when someone esigns a document that I sent them and I save the signed copy, there is additional text added in front of the name I gave the document. Sometimes it adds another name.doc and then my title, sometimes it adds "TABLE OF CONTENTS" in front of my title and I have to delete the added text before saving. I can't share the title before I sent it due to confidentiality, but I am attaching a screenshot showing the added text before my document title.

  5. currently when you hit enter after your files that you selected are about to be combined, the action to combine does not proceed. you have to click the blue button. on all other interactions, when hitting enter, the blue call to action is the action that is taken

  6. Shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+S (Save as) does not work correctly in the German version of Acrobat Reader DC - AcroRdrDC2500120744. Please fix this important feature

  7. Suggestion:

    Give text fields optional labels.

    1.) Only small, medium, or large font size.

    2.) Placement of left, right, above or below text field.

    3.) Character limit of 25 (or something small).

    The most common work-around option is using read-only text fields, however that gets messing when viewing the form in "prepare form" mode.
    Keep it simple if necessary, but simpler label options for text fields are wanted.

  8. Acrobat Pro 2024 (formerly Acrobat Classic) licenses cannot be managed by a Team account.

    This means they need to be registered to an individuals email address, where the individual can manage their own subscription independently of their IT team.

    The IT team also needs to separately track and manage many accounts for these licenses.

    Acrobat Pro 2024 licenses should be able to be registered to a team account and assigned to users in the same way subscription licenses are, or else activated with a serial key like in previous perpetual licenses so that sharing passwords with users is not necessary.

  9. There is a bug where I am unable to resize the pop-up window if I go Save As > Choose a Different Folder
    The pop-up is full-screen and cannot be resized. This is annoying, because I frequently want to see part of the PDF file as I decide on what name to give the file.

  10. There are MANY documents that Reader fails to impose Dark Mode settings; my most recent example is: (2022) Praxeology volume 1: Frame, on self-actualization for the modern man by Rian Stone. Closely related is how to handle pictures, charts, ... in Dark Mode. The solution will require forethought - sometimes (e.g., graphs), inverting the color palette will work just fine, but pictures would turn into photo negatives, so they shouldn't invert. I doubt one-size fits all dark mode can cover both use cases. You can easily recognize pictures given their wide color palette and smooth transitions vs charts & graphs…

  11. There are no blues or cyans in the custom color list for dark mode. Why not offer a 2D rainbow (saturation vs color frequency) used in many other applications?

  14. After each update "combine multiple files" to 1 pdf doesn't work anymore. Typically Acrobat doesn't recognize/accept word.docs anymore. It used to be so easy. Go on windows explorer, chose files (word, pdf), right mouse botton, combine multiple files, done. Why are you constantly changing things that worked so well before.

The dang AI pop up keeps popping up in front of things I need, I don't know how to read what I need without it popping up in front of it... you make the cursor go away and the pop up goes away, but when you go back because you're trying to highlight something it just pops up again... give it it's own space, not floating in front of the documents. Same can be said for the toolbar... keep it off my document, keep it below or on the side, do not cover the whole reason why I have this…

  19. There are at least 3 icons on various menus and toolbars for adding text to a pdf. For the love of users, PLEASE combine them (by default) into ONE. In particular, I'm referring to (1) add a comment (which includes Insert text and Add text comment), (2) Fill in form fields, and (3) add text. Those are circled in the attached screenshot. Some users might want to split those out into multiple buttons, so they can access them more quickly. But for the normal user, the default should have all those options in a menu or toolbar under one button…

  20. There are far too many user submissions here to be usefully navigable by people. For instance, even downselecting by category, there are at least 900 ideas in the category "Commenting". As far as I can tell, there is no way to search within those 900+ to narrow the number I have to look at, to find ones that are relevant to me. As a result, this is a useless discussion board for me. Instead, there should be sub-topical tags that users can add to their own or others' posts. Or show a word cloud of words used in the posts,…
