2. Please give option to DISABLE AI Features

   Please include some way to DISABLE all Generative AI features that sticks. Unclicking the checkbox doesn't help if everytime I restart my computer or receive an update it turns it back on. Generative AI is unhelpful and intrusive. Forcing people to use AI features has a massively negative impact on our environmental footprint. When it is used unnecessarily or without choice, we are using MILLIONS of gallons of water and electricity for no reason. I will be switching to a FREE service that already includes all Adobe Acrobat features if this is not resolved.

3. Remove all generative AI functions.

   This is not an idea, I just wanted to provide feedback that generative AI tools are an instant turn-off. I would vastly prefer a program that helps fight against the use of generative AI by protecting my documents from AI programs. I would pay more money to use a program that does not feature any kind of AI assistance, AI suggestions, AI integration of any kind.

   We used to live in a world where corporations understood that when a user has a positive experience with a product or service, they will only tell one or two people, but if they have a negative one, they will tell many people. Within that context, I hope you understand that the pop-up ads I keep getting suggesting I upgrade to a version with more generative AI tools and the unremovable AI integration in the layout of the program are the kinds of things that make me want to not only find a permanent replacement for any and all Adobe products (not restricted to Acrobat, which this is about), but also to then enthusiastically recommend that everyone I know stop using Adobe as well and switch to another product. It is my strong belief -- and I very much look forward to this day -- that every tech company that jumped to integrate AI into their products are going to find that this is one of the most negative decisions in their entire corporate history regarding the stability and loyalty of their userbases, and more importantly, their bottom line. I expect some companies, household names, will go out of business due to the generative AI bubble, and as mentioned, that will be a great day. Generative AI instantly makes me think less of any product or service that integrates or uses it, and the only possible solution to this is to at least offer a version of the product that does not integrate AI in any way.

   I am submitting this idea despite the many others that are posted exactly like it in the hopes that each one receives many votes calling it critical and ultimately you are forced to choose between your irrational devotion to bad tech and your consumers.

6. Request esignatures function simply not working

   Request e-signatures not working. I click it, enter the email address of the person I want to send it to, type the message, then hit next, and it does nothing. It just pops up the same window asking me to enter the email address of the recipient again.

7. Tabs duplicate in windows taskbar

   Bug. I work with two monitors, and when I have the Adobe Acrobat window on one monitor, it shows as it should, but when I move the window to the other monitor the icons in the Windows taskbar multiplies, which get very annoying after just a few open dokuments. If I try to close a tab, the "duplicate" window in the taskbar is still there but empty. It has been like this for the last two updates of Acrobat I think. Please fix this error!

11. Confirmation Prompt for Auto-Tag Document and Right-Click Menu Improvements

    Hi Team,

    The Auto-Tag Document feature is highly valuable during the initial tagging phase, as it can generate a complete document structure in less than a minute.

    However, our team primarily performs manual accessibility tagging to remediate PDF law reports. We manually tag more than 3,000 documents each month under tight SLAs. During this process, users frequently create page sections by right-clicking and selecting New Tag—often hundreds of times within a single document.

    Issue
    Because Auto-Tag Document appears close to New Tag in the right-click menu, users can accidentally select it while performing repetitive manual tagging work.

    When this occurs:

    The auto-tagging process may overwrite or disrupt the existing manual tag structure.
    Even if the user cancels the operation, previously completed manual tagging work can be lost or rendered unusable.
    The action cannot be reversed using Ctrl + Z.
    This creates a significant risk of lost effort, rework, and missed SLA deadlines.

    Requested Enhancements
    We request the following improvements to Adobe Acrobat's Accessibility tagging workflow:

    Add a confirmation dialog before Auto-Tag Document runs

    Display a clear warning that auto-tagging may replace or affect existing manual tags.
    Provide explicit Confirm and Cancel options.
    Ideally, include an option such as:
    "Do not show this message again" for users who intentionally use Auto-Tag Document.
    Rework the right-click menu placement for Auto-Tag Document

    Remove Auto-Tag Document from the right-click menu, as it is generally initiated from the Accessibility tools panel.
    Alternatively, place it farther away from frequently used actions such as New Tag, or move it into a separate submenu or "Advanced Actions" section.
    These changes would greatly improve usability and help prevent accidental loss of extensive manual accessibility remediation work.

12. Provide a simple way to view a PDF document without distractions

    Every time I doubleclick a PDF file to view its content, Acrobat pops up messages asking me to confirm that I have noticed some feature I do not need, provide feedback, use the AI assistant I do not want, review the tools I have no use for. Please provide an option to switch off all these distracting messages, buttons and toolbars and just plainly and simply display the content of the PDF file on the screen with no frills.

    You have successfully destroyed what was once the premier business use software for handling pdf files. Since it has become impossible to use, perhaps your AI agent could direct us to GOOD pdf software or at least suggest some packages that work.

    Summary
    PDF documents containing mixed page sizes (8.5x11 and 11x17) fail to print correctly after a recent Acrobat/Reader update. Pages sized 11x17 fail with a PostScript interpreter error on the print device; the same 11x17 content prints successfully when extracted into its own single-size PDF. Rolling back Acrobat/Reader to a prior version on the affected server fully resolved the issue with no further errors.
    Environment
    Product: Adobe Acrobat / Acrobat Reader (please confirm exact product — Pro/Reader/DC — via Help > About)
    Affected version: Believed to be 26.001.21771 (planned update dated Aug 1, 2026) — please confirm via Help > About on the affected machine before submitting
    Last known-good version: Version installed prior to the Aug 2026 auto-update (please confirm exact build number)
    Print target: Large-format industrial printer connected via an EFI Fiery print server (PostScript RIP)
    Platform: Windows Server (print server / RDS host)
    Steps to Reproduce
    Open a PDF containing a mix of 8.5x11 and 11x17 pages in Acrobat/Reader.
    Print the document to a PostScript-based printer/RIP with "Choose paper source by PDF page size" enabled (or equivalent mixed-media handling on the print device).
    Observe print job failure specifically on 11x17 pages.

    Fix Confirmed
    Uninstalling the current (post-update) version and rolling back Acrobat/Reader to the prior version on the print server resolved the issue completely — mixed-size jobs now print without error.
    This strongly points to a regression introduced in the PostScript generation code path for mixed page-size documents in the recent update.
    Additional Regression Observed: Missing Print Dialog Option
    The print dialog in the updated version no longer shows the "Choose paper source by PDF page size" option that was present in the prior version. This option is what allows Acrobat to correctly switch trays/page geometry per page for mixed-size documents, so its disappearance is likely directly related to the mixed-media printing failure described above rather than a separate, unrelated issue.
    Additional Notes
    The issue began immediately following an Acrobat/Reader auto-update; no other changes were made to the printer, Fiery server, or print server configuration.
    No official advisory for this specific regression was found on Adobe's Known and Fixed Issues page as of this report.

16. Remove internal ads from paid version of Acrobat

    Can we please have a debloated home screen in Adobe Acrobat?

    Looking at the current layout, half the screen is wasted on stuff I’ll never use:
    • Curated project ads like “Unlock your sales potential with TED” — this isn’t why I opened Acrobat.
    • AI features pushing “summarize your notes” when all I want is to view and edit PDFs.
    • Meeting transcription integration — how is this even related to a PDF tool?

    And the strangest part: if I’m running Acrobat DC (formerly Acrobat Pro, Acrobat X, etc.), that already means I’m a paying customer. Why is the home screen still trying to upsell me with irrelevant promos?

    All of this clutters the interface and makes the actual purpose of Acrobat harder to reach. A Publisher Mode without ads, promos, or unrelated features would make Acrobat far more usable.

    Disabling the AI assistant is actually what you should do. Even though I've disabled the AI assistant in the settings, I continue to receive pop-ups asking me to summarize the documents I'm trying to read. In addition to blocking the content I'm trying to read, these pop-ups make the basic program less usable, such as when it comes to scrolling, Chill Guy Clicker. Additionally, when the assistant is disabled, the small chat bar at the bottom shouldn't be there. For heaven's sake, please make this right. AI is not necessary for everything. I'll use Chat GPT if I need AI assistance.

18. MY SAVED SIGNATURES IN FILL & SIGN ARE GONE

    For some reason Adobe DC seems to delete a user's signature data causally considering they only allow us to save two. My signatures are gone suddenly, even tried opt to the web extension to see if its only the windows software problem, unfortunately no! The signatures are gone. I had to re-draw my signature when this happens and it is time-wasting.
